It took him a week's worth to pull off what Yejix had him to do.

All he had to do was push an unlit candle with his mind, nothing more.

Easier said than done.

For days, he sat in a bare room with the candle in front of him, staring at it hard with a strained expression on his face. Even sweat beaded his shaven head. He kept at it for hours at a day, progressively neglecting his day-to-day chores, familial duties, marital duties, and ultimately eating and drinking at the last two days.

Still, the candle remained motionless.

He was quite determined to get even with Zero for humiliating him on so many levels.

However, at the last day of the week, he was frustrated at his apparent inability to influence the candle to move with his mind. He charged up energy into his hands, and with a yell borne of anger and effort, jabbed them towards the candle, unleashing a burst of energy which sent the candle flying towards the far wall to shatter into large pieces.

He blinked at the pieces coming to rest on the floor. Silence ensued for several moments.

"Was that it..?" he blinked as he wondered out loud and then quickly got up from sitting cross-legged. However, he stumbled onto the floor on his way to the door due to his legs being in a fixed position for at least two days.

"Argh.. Yejix! YEJIX!" he yelled as he stood back up with effort, willing his legs to become more limber as he hobbled himself out of the room to look for Yejix.

Hopefully he hadn't missed Yejix leaving back to his own home during the week due to his otherwise determined occupation.

He heard the yells of frustration clear over to the tower he was staying in, so he could be on hand when Stiles trained himself in the Psychic Artes.

So he followed the yells of frustration, and within 20, maybe 25 minutes, he had arrived to see a wobbly Stiles.

Probably didn't make things much better because he had an amused look on his face.

"..Am I correct, in assuming that you have in some way or another moved the candle? Be honest with me, brother."

As the minutes went by during his search for Yejix, he was growing convinced he missed Yejix's departure.

However, upon the sight of Yejix, he was more or less relieved he didn't have to go outside and spend lots of time searching in both AnimA and RhyDin.

Catching his breath, he leaned against a wall and nodded, replying breathlessly, "aye, I've done it."

"I've let loose a blast of energy upon it out of frustration, ended up shattering it upon a wall."

"Strange. Very Strange. Perhaps it is not telekinesis you might have an affinity for, but Psychokinesis. What did it feel like to you?"

He looked at Stiles expectantly and awaited the synopsis of his bald friend's experience, while subtly letting his mind scan the room, seeking out psychic data in a sort of forensic scan, seeking out the potency and magnitude of the burst.

He was shocked. No, strike that, he was.. nearly terrified.

Unbelievable. His first experience with PK, and he's let loose a beta grade burst.. Much potential here.. perhaps If i teach him how to better control this energy, he might, just might be able to move the candle with will alone.. I cannot fault him, I too could not the first time.

Finally able to stand up straight without support, he furrowed his brows in concentration as he recalled what happened.

"Well, I was getting angry at not being able to move it with my mind, so I gathered up energy like I would for a spell and then let it loose from my hands upon the candle."

He smirked sheepishly, "I suppose I didn't have to go all-out like that, eh? So what is this psychokinesis?"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-07-16 21:04 EST
Yejix immediately took a stance and demeanor of a professor, he was in his element.

"Psychokinesis is a psychic ability that allows a person to generate energy through emotion and manipulate it as they see fit, thus, the etymology of Psychokinesis is derived from the Greek words Psyche spirit, and Kinesis, movement."

He sat down in a chair, and pulled out a clove cigarette and lit it, taking in a deep inhale and exhaling slowly.

"An extreme example of Psychokinesis, or PK for short, is Gospel. Gospel is a PK attack that is fueled by extreme amounts of righteous fury, and manifests as a beam, explosion, or shockwave of ruby, gold, and blue light that reaches in temperature excesses of 3000 degrees fahrenheit and is strong enough to shred mythril plate 5 inches thick like confetti.

A practical example of PK is non-magick generated shielding that isn't made by a machine. A polyphase-intrinsic electromagnetic field that harmonizes against incoming energy, adapts accordingly, and either absorbs, blocks, or deflects incoming energy. Sometimes a Shield can be strong enough to stop a physical assault, depending on it's maker.

A final example of PK is non-magick healing that does not include the use of potions, medical technology, or biological agents such as the ability to regenerate oneself. One directs PKE (Psychokinetic Energy) into wounds or the body and stimulates the healing process a hundredfold, while using the energy to help the body regenerate itself on a microscopic level. This branch of PK is known as Biokinesis or "life movement"

He then looked to Stiles expectantly, and finished off his clove.

He looked blankly at Yejix as he listened to his lecturing.

".. I see," he said after several moments. "Impressive. I assume that is what Zero used the whole time? He handled my lightsaber's blade end bare-handedly and seemed to be immune against blades."

His green fire eyes glowed with the prospect of learning such things, certain that in doing so would grant him truly even ground with Zero.

Yejix Zabiru

"it would have to be. magick has a hard time around things of an electrical nature because electricity has a hard time existing in a magick field unless properly warded and the right runes etched into it."

he then fell over, with a terrible migraine, bleeding from the nose and unconscious

Stiles Mornay

The warrior blinked in surprise at seeing Yejix like this and walked over to his side, crouching.

"What's going on?"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-07-17 02:29 EST
"I.. I don't know. I must not be feeling well.. I'm going back to my tower for the night.. i must rest."

He got up and left, wobbling dangerously.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-07-20 19:51 EST
a few days of rest was a welcome respite. his migraine was caused by an extraordinary amount of PKE being generated by Stiles, subconsciously.

He returned to the tower where he had left Stiles, hoping to catch him in training.

There is incredible amounts of potential in him. Him being a warrior mage, and through his training in Asgard as a whelp, I am most certain The Elders and Valkyries have taught him some modicum of mind arts, the most distinguishable is that binding ability he has to keep weapons inside of himself in the form of energy constructs that become physical on command.

So why is it so hard for him to harness Telekinetic ability, when he has already mastered basic Psychokinesis? He knows how to do it, he just needed the impetus, the drive, to let it loose..

I will teach him Aerokinesis next, what some schools call "airbending", or "windwaking." He has the basic ability, I have seen him fly without the benefit of wings or a broom before.. Yes.. It would do him much good to learn how to command the winds to do as he will, other than command magick to do it for him. He shall learn the precepts of shielding, then solid theory, and finally practical application. I want him to be able to block a lightsaber's blade with it!

His musings brought unto him a jovial grin as he approached Stiles's study..

Stiles Mornay

He watched Yejix walk off towards his own tower, slightly concerned after having learned what was ailing him. He too walked back to his quarters, intent on reinforcing his marital duties with Namaera.

Several days later, he had struck a reasonable balance between family and training.

Of course, when Yejix returned, he was still working on the candle thing. Upon seeing Yejix enter, he paused in moving the candle back and forth several paces away.

"Hey comrade. Why so happy?" he rose an eyebrow at the grin upon Yejix's face. He let up his control over the candle, which fell to the ground to land on its side, rolling away by an inch.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-07-31 05:46 EST
"I see you found your focus. Love is an incredible strength, Stiles."

Yejix glanced at the candle and it stood at attention before chunks of wax fell off of it as if being repeatedly cut with knives, until it bore the semblance of a finely carved skeleton. He then held out his hand, causing the wax to fly into it, and he would compress it into a cube and pocket it.

"Aerokinesis. The art of Wind Control. As you've seen me cast magicks of the Wind Element, you have no doubt seen the majority of it being tornadoes, blades, and compressed air blasts that grind and tear.

Reach out with your senses and feel the air currents around you in this old drafty tower. memorize and study how they ebb and flow like water. It is much like working with wood-- you don't want to cut against the grain, the end result will look ugly. Wind is very prideful of itself, just as Ice is very vain and demands to crystallize and shape itself on it's own terms.

Your new exercise is to become one with the wind, and cut this piece of wood with nothing but the wind you command with your mind."

He removed a block of wood from his other pocket, seemingly endless in depth, and set it before his blood brother. Bemusedly, it has a caricature of Zero painted on it giving him the finger.

"Even gouges and scratches are acceptable marks of progress. Do not feel that you absolutely have to hack this thing to bits. G'luck mate."

So he stood back and waited to see the results.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-07-31 20:53 EST
The Aesir warrior rose an eyebrow at what Yejix did with the candle, his other eyebrow rose upon listening to the lecture on aerokinesis.

"Hm. Interesting, I shall try it out then."

He smirked at the painted-on caricature of Zero on the wooden block, then frowned as he realized it would take him some time to become one with the wind element. Needless to say, one of his weapons provided the wind element for him to use, but what Yejix was asking of him demanded a far deeper control of that element, not the prescribed control provided by the weapon.

So Stiles sat down to do what Yejix instructed him to do: feel out the wind currents, the first of a few stepping stones towards to being one with the wind.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-01 08:04 EST
"I'll help you out. I'm going to perform a spell known as the Painted Wind charm. This will help you see the currents. I will gradually remove the spell until you can feel them out by instinct."

He flicked his right wrist and his wand shot into his hand at the ready, 13 inches long with a Phoenix and Chozo Feather core, bound with Giant's Heartstrings. It was encased in a beautiful ebony and bloodwood shell, shaped like a tight helix, almost like a narwhal's horn. The handle had carvings of japanese styled thunderclouds.

he then pointed it at Stiles, and quickly spun it three times counterclockwise, and made a slashing motion on a perfectly straight horizontal axis in the opposite direction, uttering "Chromataventus." A flash of prismatic light occurred and suddenly the room was full of colored zephyrs ranging the entire rainbow and shade. Darker colors were moving away, while lighter colors were moving towards.

"Stiles, I want you to tap your magick, barely, and feel out this wind. Kinetic skills are best taught with a bare minimum of magick involved to help you ease into a transition of using only your mind, and not mind and mana. When you feel you can gouge that woodblock to the point of no return, you're going to try it on Me, and don't you dare try to tell me no. You're a rookie at this, you can't hurt me much."

He goes back to observing, and munches on a strange looking, traditionally made lollipop that is white and red swirled with a big yellow star shape in the center. For some strange reason, perhaps magick, it's shines like a diamond and has this odd golden aura around it.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-13 16:06 EST
"Impressive," the Aesir warrior remarked at the visible wind currents made possible by Yejix's magick. So he shifted his weight a little to settle more comfortably and set to focusing on the multi-colored currents with barely a tap into his magick.

It was somewhat harder than he thought, having been so accustomed to using maximum input and output. His aura flared out suddenly in green fire.

"Dammit.." he aborted it and then tried again, going a bit slower in an attempt to control it. It barely worked, his aura reappearing as a rough green outline. He managed to slowly tighten his focus until he was able to barely tap into his magicks.

"This is like doing the opposite, Yejix," he muttered as his aura faded into something of a shimmer.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-13 21:14 EST
"Kinetics are called "Magick without Magick." for a reason. You must tame the winds using non-magick in the manner of magick."

It sounded confusing. But he would expatiate.

"I shall show you." A bare hint of distortion around his body occurred, and he extended a hand, palm to the ceiling. colored winds would suck into it and form a sphere of rushing wind that then engulfed his entire arm and formed into an extension of himself, much like his wrist stings.

"What I am doing is bending the wind to my will. Feel what I am doing for yourself. I am not using Magick, nor Chakra. Indeed, it seems as if i had bent a Kazegan jutsu (Wind Sphere) into a Kaze no Yaiba (Blade of Wind), but you will note that in the past, I have -never- used Ninjutsu without mudras. It is incredibly hard for me to do so."

without warning he rammed his fingertips into the wood and blasted the wind through it like a bomb, splintering it into all but sawdust.

He then got out another block, and set it there.

"We will start smaller then. When you can make yourself float off the ground using the wind, you will be ready to learn the Attack Style of Aerokinesis. When you know how to attack, you will then learn it's Defensive style."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-14 12:54 EST
He blinked at the explosion and brushed the sawdust off him, spitting out any that happened to make its way into his mouth.

"Damn, Yejix.." he muttered, shaking his head. "I think its going to take me a long time to match you there."

So he set to resuming the training. It'd take him some time until he would be able to achieve what Yejix wanted him to do.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-14 15:49 EST
"Actually, it's a very simple process. Gather your energy, not mana, and direct it under you. Focus on the wind. Let your energy mix with the wind, and then believe with all your mind, that you will float off the ground. Conquer gravity within your mind, and you will do it."

While he gives this explanation, he was busy forming tiny wind spheres on his fingertips and dispelling them, as to practice for something he'd been working on.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-14 16:07 EST
He blinked at Yejix's explanation and smirked slightly as he understood.

"Aye, of course, how silly of me," chuckles softly as he recalled the basic training back in Asgard. He did what Yejix instructed, rising up from the floor by several inches, creating a ripple in the air. It was no different from walking around like that in the past.

In fact, he was tempted to stand up on thin air, and acted on this, grinning to Yejix.

"So what do you think?"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-14 17:19 EST
"How high can you go? Can you move without moving your body? figure this out and i'll be more inclined to get you started on the next phase."

he chuckled, realizing that if he could get Stiles to do that just by dumbing down everything, he could get him into fighting form to go kick some Daedra Ass.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-14 17:46 EST
He frowned slightly at the question posed to him. As much as he could recall, they only trained him to go this high and whenever he asked, they chastised him and either had him do more regimens or disciplined him.

"We'll see, eh?" he rose an eyebrow when he stated this and focused some more. It happened nearly imperceptibly at first, gradually rising up to a foot higher until he wavered. He then landed on the floor with a thump, doubling over and catching his breath.

"Damned, that took alot out of me.." he shook his shaven head.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-15 00:38 EST
"Excellent! We will continue this training until you can at least fly to my height and hold it for 30 minutes. The more energy you use this way, the bigger your reserves are going to get. And you'll need an metric ton more to do what i want you to after you can fly as high as I stand.. oh yes.

Remember when I started running up wind columns for training? You're going to be doing that until your control gets so good that making the wind do whatever the hell you want will be like breathing."

A manic grin formed on his thin blue lips.

"I'm going to make you into the best damned warrior of them all, and you will even impress Lord Odin far more than when you slayed Ultima Weapon. He will have no choice but to bow his head to you in respect."

And thus, that night, Yejix began Operation: Super Aesir.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-15 13:56 EST
"Heh, very well," Stiles remarked with a grin, nodding once.

Cue in mini-montage of Stiles meditating, levitating; the meditations and levitations successively getting shorter and higher respectively.

Amidst it all, however, he felt there was something resisting his slow but sure progress. He couldn't exactly place what the feeling was, the closest thing that felt appropriate was it was like a constriction.

He was certain that this constriction would pass over time, for it didn't interfere with the training regimen much.

"Yejix, is this feeling.. this constriction, is it normal?" he asked sometime after a while.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-15 14:48 EST
"Yes. It is normal, and you must break through it to master the Flight Exercise. You can do it, I have faith in your will."

The last time that he himself had faced that Constriction was when he was working with Photokinesis, his weakest skill in the Psi Arts.

He was developing a way to force light to become darkness in an explosive manner, and only got as far as the second step of detonation.. but it would never explode.

And that made him MAD.

"Come on, mate. you can do it."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-18 12:04 EST
Satisfied with Yejix's explanation, he resumed his efforts and was back on track. But this time, he focused on getting rid of this constriction by breaking through it.

So he trained harder in his effort to break through it. In no time, he was sweating and puffing, green fire eyes glowing with a determination to be freed of this constriction.

Hours later, he found himself rigid, rooted to the spot as he was unable to move. It was as if the constriction was now a physical manifestation, having increased itself as if in protest against his progress.

Despite this, he wasn't going down easy.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-19 02:47 EST
"Do it. Do it damnit. You can do this. Break the constriction and you can do anything your heart desires with wind with practice! This is the ultimate teast, Baldie!"

He Had that damned manic grin stuck on his face. He cackled madly.

"This is the result of years and years of energy training. You have mastered magick, and this is your body trying to reject the principles of Psi! You must cope. learn to accept both things! you must find a harmony between them both and make that balance work!"

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-20 16:33 EST
It took Stiles at least 10 minutes to break free of the constriction.

His aura took on a light-blue color, barely an outline. Fine cracks of white spider-webbed slowly, thickening in seconds until there was a shattering explosion of white flames and a yell at the same time. The flames vanished after a brief second, the warrior seen doubled over and falling over at the same time.

There was a very brief oddity which manifested itself as light-blue runic markings seemingly composed of ethereal flames all over his visible skin: right arm, neck, head, left biceps and left hand.

"Ugh.. dammit.." he groaned, green fire eyes shut tight as he rolled over onto his back. He felt like having run a marathon of sorts. But at the same time, he felt light, and that was gradually replacing the exhaustion.

He opened his eyes, blinking a few times as if coming out of a deep sleep.

"I did it, Yejix!"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-20 18:10 EST
"Uh! Why the hell.. Those runes.. and that pattern.. it looks a lot like binding magick.. Did your instructors ever do something or doubletalk about any taboos of magick, at all?"

He took a step backward, his eyes narrowed a bit. For the longest time he had felt as if something was keeping his friend and blood-brother back all these years, that he was definitely more than what he could achieve, yet simply could not make that final lunge, like a rabid dog trying to break out of it's cage, like one final, massive bashing against those bars would wreck the entire structure and lead it to freedom.

He thought he had seen it once, and only once; When Stiles had given in to his blood lust and fury and...

his eyes widened suddenly, then contracted again. There's no need to relive that crazy night.

"...It felt like Kidō. the Magick of the Shinigami."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-20 22:16 EST
He sat up and leaned against the wall to wipe the sweat off his brow.

"Kido? That's a new one I've heard. Pray tell me more, comrade," his interest was piqued, leaning forward as soon as he had finished wiping off his sweat.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-21 05:50 EST
"It is a style unique to Shinigami, or Death Gods; Souls who come from the afterlife, that look like ronin, to collect the souls of the dead and purify them. They are unique that only those with a high amount of spiritual power can see them or be physically affected by them and their weapon, called a Zanpakuto; A Soul Cutter."

He took out a cig, lit up, and took a deep inhale, letting the smoke settle in his lungs before blowing it out of his gills, like exhaust.

"Some Shinigami are still mortal, and must use assistance to get out of their mortal shells with the help of Soul Candy, an artificial soul trapped within an indestructable candy ball that forces the original soul out and lets a temporary soul in to control that body. The device is spat back out when the original soul re-enters the body."

He then gave Stiles a look, and fished out a small leather pouch from his neck, and devoured a green orb the size of a jawbreaker. With a loud pop, Yejix left his body and substantiated into a copy of himself wearing black gi and hakama, with white tabi socks and belt, zori, and had a katana strapped on his back. His body stood back up, and grinned just as he grinned.

"I managed to reverse-engineer the device about 3,000 years ago and gained my own Shinigami power, as a means to further my training into magick I didn't know how to use. My artificial soul is a carbon copy of me, and therefore i have been able to sneak out with nobody knowing a damned thing. Unfortunately in this form, i am only able to use Reiryoku and Psychic energy, and cannot access my magick at all."

Yejix then re-entered his body and spat the soul candy back up, and put it back in its extremely-warded pouch around his neck.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-21 12:43 EST
He watched Yejix demonstrate what he was talking about, raising an eyebrow at its end.

"Most interesting, the Valkyries never told me of these Shinigami before."

He stood up and flexed his limbs experimentally, stretched them out and then smirked slightly to Yejix.

"Let us continue. What's next?"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-21 12:48 EST
"Blow up the wood block with nothing but the wind directed by your will."

He set down a log, and looked expectantly at him.

"Blow this thing to bits, and then i can show you how to bend the air to make an impenetrable shield."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-21 12:59 EST
"Hm," he focused on the log and then went through the steps he had practiced prior to his "freedom," creating an orb of swirling air. It was somewhat unstable at first which he remedied by applying more control into it.

It became more consistent and when he was satisfied with it, he chucked the thing towards the log. It glanced off its side, shredding a strip of bark off it.

"Damn, not good enough," he smirked, shaking his shaven head.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-21 14:31 EST
"Get creative. Wind is an artistic element that wants to express itself in as many ways as possible. Shred, Tear, Pierce, Drill.."

His need for giving hints played out in the manner of forming a sphere on wind in his hand that lashed out in all directions with wispy blades..

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-21 14:46 EST
The warrior tried again, creating another orb which he experimentally compressed and then lobbed it at the log. It hit the log dead-on center, exploding through it which created alot of sawdust. Just before the sawdust settled, the top half of the log fell backwards to land on the floor with a clatter, both halves showing mangled ends.

"Damn, now that's something!" he laughed, clapping his hands.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 14:32 EST
"Alright then. Make that same orb.. but around yourself, like a barrier."

A wicked grin formed on his face, and he reached behind him into his utility belt pouch and withdrew a bundle of kunai.

"You're going to get this down, or you'll be a pincushion!"

and with that, he teleported the both of them to the courtyard, and started hurling the deadly ninja knives at him like missiles of obsidian pointy doom.

"AND I NEVER MISS!"

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 14:46 EST
"..?!" the warrior quickly reacted, creating the same orb of wind, this time around himself. The air around himself formed into a whirlwind shaped like a sphere with several bands of lighter air that seemed to possess small spiky protrusions.

Since he was forced to react quickly with very little prep time, the barrier was barely successful, as it managed to divert the course of the incoming kunai from a straight one to a bent one. They'd pass through and end up going one way or another past him, some of them nicked his sides, arms and legs too.

Pissed off at this, he let out a yell and forced the sphere away from himself in an attempt to strike out at Yejix in a counterattack with the remnants of the wind-barrier. But all they did was fade to nothingness a foot before Yejix.

"Damn, so close."

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 14:52 EST
"You will endure my onslaught with that wind dome of yours until you can stop a lightsaber blade!"

Arms are flung to the sides as he catches 5 shuriken each into them, and loads them with fire mana.

"Lesson one! Why you do not mix fire and wind!" He hurled them at Stiles with incredible force and considerable rotation speed, causing them to be encloaked within fireballs that curve towards the Aesir like homing missiles, the barest glints of mono-filament wire attached to them. He smirked. When Stiles would activate that barrier, they would go with the wind direction, and ignite his shield to show him exactly why you don't do such a thing.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 14:57 EST
And thus he'd find out.

Upon redoing the wind barrier, the flames from the passing shuriken suddenly blossomed all over the barrier and took the oxygen from inside the barrier in seconds. He fell to his knees as the fire/wind barrier dissipated, gasping for air.

"Bastard, trying to kill me with that lesson, eh?" he looked up to Yejix, panting.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 15:09 EST
"I'm not the only person in RhyDin who would think to do that to you, knowing that kind of defense. For one, Montgomery is on of Vex's pupils, and he's a genius fire-type. He wouldn't think twice to pull that on you."

He grinned viciously.

"Get up, brat. There's more torture in store for ya!" He then rushed Stiles while making the correct mudras for a Kuchiyose (summoning) jutsu and bit his thumb, and swiped it along his right hand, causing a copy of the Ultima Weapon to burst into it in a plume of blue flame, having essentially the same style as the original with inverted colors.

The Kyūkyokuzan (Ultimate Cutter)

A mighty swing is made towards Stile's midsection, using the replica as a bat.

http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/xx23/YejixZabiru/Weapons/kyukyokuzan.png

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 15:16 EST
When he saw that sword come into being in Yejix's hands, he leapt backwards to evade the swing, forming another barrier. But this time, he focused most of its power to the front half as a precaution. As a result, it was thicker there.

"All right, bring it!" he grinned.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 15:55 EST
"You wanna play like that huh? Then let's see how it handles one of my Ōgi."

Yejix leapt backwards and skid a few feet. Taking the weapon into his hands, he deliberately, slowly, span it in a clockwise motion in front of him, flat. Energy poured into the weapon as he dove forward, almost in bullet-time and suddenly broke it, moving at hypersonic speed with a veritable hurricane of wild slashes, each stroke leaving behind a trail of black and white lightning that screeched horribly, like a bunch of screaming birds that were also flapping their wings chaotically. The strikes were 12 in their number, each one stronger and harder than the last one.

Stiles had managed to focus the rest of his barrier into that front half when Yejix finished prepping his next attack, having a sinking feeling that it wasn't going to be good for himself.

When Yejix launched it, his focused barrier managed to hold up against the first 4 strikes before shattering, which the rest promptly slashed him up. The resulting force sent Stiles away to crash into a column, the leftover energy from the slashes fading off him.

"Ugh.." he got up, staggering a bit and spat a mouthful of blood.

"Keep them coming.." he walked towards Yejix as if drunkenly, panting softly. He was onto something when he recovered, conjuring up another barrier.

"You want more? Fine. Don't blame me if you get thrashed."

And with that, Yejix formed a Kazegan in his hand and began to rotate it rapidly in all directions, while blades of wind flew off of it in random directions. He then flooded it with chakra, until 5 huge points formed on it, like a hira shuriken.

"Try this then -- Fūton: Rasen Kazeyaiba!*" And he hurled the deadly Wind Jutsu at Stiles's barrier, hoping to beat it.

This time, he was more or less ready for the jutsu coming his way. He practically jumped towards the thing, as if going for a suicide run.

As he felt it make contact with his barrier, he pulled the surrounding air into it to reinforce its defense. The wind shuriken stopped, though it kept spinning. The blades went through the barrier and it was that point he couldn't keep it up, it had slowed down enough to fall to the ground, glancing along his body in the process.

He collapsed from exhaustion.

Yejix Zabiru

"God damnit."

He sighs loudly, and gets out an Elixer and force-feeds it to Stiles, obviously dissapointed.

"How can you expect to beat Zero, if you can't even last a few of my weakest moves? How can you expect to defeat that damn sword of his if you fail so badly?"

He looked upset. Really upset. It was in fact, the first time he'd ever seen Stiles fail so hard at something he'd put before him.

..and that hurt his pride. He had extreme pride in Stiles being able to beat challenges he made towards him with relative success one way or another.

"..If i go and kick his ass you'll hate me forever."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 17:02 EST
After he was force-fed an Elixer, he coughed as the multicolored sparkles washed over him, rejuvenating at the same time.

"Bah, you do that, I'll be thanking you," he smirked sarcastically as he got up again, quite refreshed.

"What's with Zero's sword, by the way? It acts very much like Lord Odin's Zantetsuken."

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 17:56 EST
"I honestly haven't got much data on Trexata, but what I do know is that it's a living weapon, and has an edge so sharp it can cut through 4 feet of solid Zexonite in a single slash. Not even Kuro knows much about the weapon and he's been hanging around Zero for years."

He pulled Stiles back up onto his feet.

"I know that he's overconfident in his ability to handle any opponent, despite having bested him three times in the rings. Granted, i mixed taijutsu in with swordplay, but i think the best way to beat him is to be completely unpredictable and random. always change. never let him see the same move twice unless you're going at it bare-handedly."

he popped his neck.

"I do know that he fears the GF Diablos for some reason, perhaps for his Gravity and Shadow artes. He relies too heavily on Ice and Water magick, and is overspecialized in that area. He never took the time to branch beyond a few things, and acts like a one trick pony a lot.."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 18:01 EST
"I see," Stiles replied with a nod. "Sounds alot like Asad, if you ask me." He smirked at the comparison in his mind. Then a thought occurred to him.

"Will Frenzy be more than enough to take him down?"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 18:12 EST
"..I'm honestly not sure. I can't even remember the last time you used that on me, so I can't really gauge it's strength. I actually have to go into 3rd Gear to match his speed, and i can barely hold that state for 10 minutes before i'm a useless lump."

he looked off to the side, shamefully. 3rd Gear was something he'd swore never to use again after the last massive battle he'd been in back in AnimA, because it had caused him to become a psychopathic murderer. a psychopathic murderer able to reach sub-light speed and destroy entire forts and castles in single strikes.

It was achieved by opening 7 of the 8 Inner Gates, and suffusing himself with incredible amounts of Dark Energy, to the point he became nothing but a black silhouette of himself with blood red eyes and a jagged mouth full of white light. You could say, he became an "Anti-Yejix" of sorts in 3rd Gear.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 18:18 EST
He crossed his arms and looked down to the ground in thought for a moment and then back up to Yejix.

"It was during my training in ninjutsu. It must've been a fluke, but there must be a way to bring that out consciously."

The warrior was unsure of how that happened in the first place but he knew how strong it was, remembering how he was able to manipulate the surroundings' elements as attacks and the like.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 18:39 EST
"..A consciously activated Frenzy.." He shuddered, "I can only go into 1st Gear consciously.."

He sat upon the ground and put his head in one hand and thought hard.

"Start thinking of everything and anything that would piss you off beyond belief, and try working from there?"

because of this thought, He stood back up quickly and put his arms in front of him, hands in a clawed position, palms forward, and focused upon himself deeply, calling up the energy required to kickstart the familiar processes of Impact.

It was named such, because it literally "impacted" his mystical energies in a hyper-compressed bundle while sucking in natural energy from the planet like a sponge and compressed it around that bundle so tightly, you'd think he was attempting spiritual "nuclear fusion."

as he did so, the wind kicked up around his body as he shut his eyes, sending his spiky mop of silver helter-skelter in the breeze.

"Kai!"

an explosion of silver light blasted from the ground and around his body like a bonfire, as his hair shifted gradually from silver to pitch black, and his eyes shifting from blue to red. skin would become brighter in color as blood is forced through his body at incredible rates, and magick from the planet roared around him like a localized hurricane.

when the lightshow was over, he stood there in front of Stiles in 1st Gear. His fangs were more pronounced, and the fins on his ears, arms and legs had also turned black as pitch with glowing red lines going through them.

"..For my own protection, mate. Hope y'understand."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 18:46 EST
".. Damn," he muttered in awe at the Impact in progress. He had seen it before, of course, but it was still something no matter how many times he had seen it before.

He took a few steps back as a precaution, green fire eyes on Yejix with a determined look to them.

"Can you teach me Impact?"

He was certain that he'd best Zero with this.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 19:03 EST
He then took a deep breath.

"Impact is the human name of the skill.. a skill normally exclusive to Naians, and is only ever achieved by warrior monks... but you.. you're a warrior monk in your own right, and i've had to give you transfusions of my own blood a few times, so that pretty much makes you a quarter Naian.. It might be possible. Among my kin, it is known as Zetose'juu , or "Absolute Control."

He began pacing back and forth.

"Impact requires you to literally compact all your energy into something the size of a baseball sized sun, and continually draw natural energy from the planet to contain your own mystical energies. You are literally confining your own magic, chi, psi, what have you, in such a way that it no longer can do what it wants. It is called Zetose'juu for a damned good reason. You gain absolute control over your own body, mind, and soul."

He regarded Stiles with a look of complete seriousness, enough that every single second of his aeons long life barrelled into the relatively younger Aesir , and that Stiles would see the complete gravity of what has been asked of him.

"You do this training, you are my b!tch. You will hand yourself over to me completely, do exactly as i f*cking say, without question, without complaint, without pretense. I say do it, you f*cking do it. I will not sugarcoat it for you. This is going to be -nothing- like the training you received in Asgard, nor the brutal shinobi training I gave you. This will make everything in your entire life look like a god damned joke. You will survive this training, but you will not come out unscathed. You will appreciate the fact you live and have a soul even more than you do now."

The Look of Ages kept strong.

"You undergo this training, and you will become a force of nature."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 19:29 EST
"Hm," he met Yejix's stare and didn't waver under its gravity. He wanted to become stronger to best Zero. He clenched his fists and nodded.

"So be it, Yejix."

He doubted the training would be as bad as the basic training--basic in the sense he continued to get stronger through more training methods--back in his youth.

His resolve was definite and he'd grin to Yejix.

"Do your worst and I will do my best."

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 19:33 EST
"Alrighty then. Your first task?"

Without warning, Yejix stabbed Stiles in the forehead with a kunai.

"..come back from the dead under your own will. You have until Ring Time to get your ass back into the world of the living, and I'll get you some of my sake as an apology."

he kicked Stiles to the ground, and sat there in front of him to watch.

"Better hurry, bucko."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 19:55 EST
Being killed as part of the first task was something Stiles had not anticipated at all. As he laid on the ground with his consciousness fading away, he struggled with hanging on, surprised at this apparent betrayal from Yejix.

He couldn't get himself to speak or move anything to indicate his anger towards Yejix. In the few remaining seconds, which stretched to minutes to himself, all he could do was keep trying to hang in there. But the strength was fading away faster than he could muster.

At this point, the bonded soul of Ultima Weapon stirred to life and quickly took over.

"This is the second time I have had to save your life, Master!" he could hear its voice in his mind as if it was speaking right into his ear just before his consciousness winked out.

His body took on a glowing blue aura with a rising spiritual pressure at the same time. It then began to transform, the legs becoming more muscular with the arms becoming longer and spindly, the head sprouting three protrusions from the forehead to curve backwards over the rest of the skull, and the body shifted around before remnants of wings sprouted into view along the ground.

The eyes flashed open, blue fire this time and he rose up in a flash in a lunge towards Yejix with his right hand out to throttle him.

"DIE!" the deep hissing voice screamed in fury.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 20:03 EST
"Before I seal you away back into that sword of his, you will tell his soul something." without even being phased at all with a burning claw around his throat.

"He wanted training. This is only one step to a path to a power with untold potential and power. To have Absolute Control, means to bring oneself back from death under their own will, to cast magic without having any mana in their body to do so, and to undergo physical stresses that will destroy a man. To survive the cycle of death and rebirth in the same body repeatedly. To reject all rules of life and death. to reject the ultimate fate of mankind. to reject rejection. To reject you"

With untold speed, Yejix broke Ultima's arm and snapped his neck, to disable him, and raised his left hand into the air, as he held his right to the side, and forcefully summoned the Ultima Weapon Sword into his hand from Stiles's body.

He slammed his burning fingers into the spirit's chest, and clean through the body into the sword. and shoved it's essence back into the blade, as it should have been all those years ago.

"You've inhibited my brother's progress for too damn long. A Zanpakuto belongs in it's sword, not it's master. Back into your container!"

Stiles Mornay

Stiles had found himself back in his mental realm, the world flooded with blood and hulking crystals poking out of the blood and a golden sky. He got up and looked around, before realizing what happened before this. He reached up to his forehead to feel out the wound there dealt by Yejix. But to his surprise, there was no wound.

"What in the Fires of Muspellheim..." he muttered and then felt a disturbance throughout the realm and felt his right arm break, then his neck snapped, and then his chest caved in without warning in quick succession.

"Argh!" he yelled from the pain, then to his surprise, he had the feeling this was Yejix's doing and Yejix's intention to make him stronger. He looked around, certain that Ultima Weapon was there with him, but there was no sign.

"Hmph, I see now."

He sat in the ankle-deep blood and focused on getting out back to reality.

Blackness overtook the realm and found himself laying on the ground in the courtyard, unknowing that he had underwent Trance and then back to normal upon falling to the ground again.

He got up in a flash, heedless of the lingering pains inflicted upon his body from Yejix. Even the wound upon his forehead was healed.

"A warning would've been appreciated, Yejix!" he yelled at him.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 20:29 EST
".........."

he stared at him.

".........."

he stared some more.

".........."

he twitched.

"............HOW THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT IN THE SPACE OF 2 MINUTES?!? IT TOOK ME AN HOUR MY FIRST TIME!!"

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 20:33 EST
He blinked at the outburst.

"What? It was like seconds to me.. are you sure it was two minutes? And how was it possible for you to hang in there for an hour?"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-08-31 20:37 EST
"It took me an hour because of how I was killed, probably. I did not experience the "murdering" part until i had exhausted all my magic and stamina.. plus i was poisoned and cut in half.."

He was still shocked at just how fast Stiles was able to literally steal his own soul back from God and heal himself.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-08-31 20:46 EST
The first time he was killed, his death triggered Ultima Weapon to take action, transforming his body into a hybrid of Monster and Aesir while it used its energies to heal the damage wrought upon it. At the same time, it put his soul into dormancy, effectively switching places with each other: Ultima Weapon being the dominant one and Stiles the dormant one. It took Ultima Weapon at least a month to repair his shattered body, but when it was finished healing, Stiles' soul was in a state of "coma" due to the trauma sustained from this particular damage. The state lasted for a week after the body was healed fully. Once Stiles recovered from the coma state, Ultima Weapon reverted his body back to normal and switched places once more.

The experience was a strange one for Stiles once he learned of this from Ultima Weapon and was sorely tempted to test it out. But at that time, other things took it off his mind.

Tonight, he blinked and rose an eyebrow at Yejix.

"I believe it is the bond Ultima Weapon and I share that caused me to recover much faster than you."

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-09-02 11:39 EST
"Your bullshite aside from the other night, you need some serious fecking training. So for the next 2 weeks, I want you to do the following exercises.."

and Yejix handed Stiles a sheet of paper with the following written on it:

?5000 Push Ups; Add 10 extra per day
?5000 Sit Ups; Add 20 extra per day
?5000 Squats; Add 30 extra per day
?5000 Pull Ups; Add 40 extra per day
?5000 Sprints for 200 meters back and forth. Add 100 Meters every day.
?Run 1 mile Before breakfast, 2 Miles after Lunch, 3 After Dinner, 4 before bed. Add one mile to each value every day.

"If you can do this, you will get crazy strong and fast, very quickly. Be sure to eat a whole lot of meat, grain, and keep hydrated. I don't care if you take breaks. Just make sure you freaking do it."

Yejix ripped off his hoodie, and showed Stiles the rewards of this insane workout he does daily. It was as if his body was sculpted from raw steel!

"You do these exercises, and you will become as ripped as I am, you lazy bastard. Your wife will definitely enjoy it, and your kids will go "holy shit, my dad is built like a brick shithouse!" You wanna look like a flabby old man? No, I don't think so."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-09-02 13:01 EST
He blinked at the items on the paper and then rose an eyebrow at Yejix's physique. He smirked slightly at the last couple of sentences.

"Of course not."

He examined the list again and chuckled softly, "well, I'll be damned if these are part of that first lesson." He referenced to the coming back from the dead lesson.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-09-03 01:23 EST
"We'll put it this way. If you can do these, then i'll feel less of an asshole when i decide to quadruple them after you're done."

He grinned.

"I'm going to work you to death."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-09-03 20:04 EST
He nearly facepalmed at what Yejix said, shook his shaven head and grudgingly did the tasks. It'd take him some days before getting used to the regimen.

Even when he got used to it, it'd take him at least another 2 weeks to master the regimen.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-09-06 12:23 EST
-2 WEEKS LATER-

"Come on, man. You can do it. You're already getting pretty damned buff. We're gonna do this for another week or until it's nothing for you to do this and you don't even get tired. We have to find your body's breaking point and pass it, or else you won't be able to handle Impact and you'll explode from the stress!"

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-09-23 11:10 EST
So the weeks went on by, accompanied by a series of montages reminiscent of Rocky complete with the theme music. They repeatedly showed Stiles taking on more weights onto his person, training sessions supervised by Yejix, the various exercises he had to do over the course of time beyond the two weeks.

At the end of it, Arnold Schwarzenegger would've been proud of Stiles' new physique. His muscle mass was increased to the point of having his armor re-sized. He was now more or less accustomed to the regimen after a month's worth.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-10-21 15:08 EST
"IT IS TIME."

Yejix took out his gun, and pointed it at Stiles's head.

He fired. Point blank. Right into Baldie's big-ass skull. Dropped him like a rock.

"You hear me in there, brat? Bring yerself back!"

And he smoked a bowl, and went back to chilling out.

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-10-21 16:02 EST
Just when he was getting impatient enough to forcibly make Yejix take his life, Stiles was promptly shot point-blank. This caused his shaven head to burst in a very gory version of confetti with the rest of his body careening far away enough to slam into the wall with a brief gush of blood from his severed neck upon impact before slumping down on the floor.

As the blood pooled around the body, a few pyreflies came out to fade into the air. Normally, there would be more pyreflies and then the body fading, but this wasn't the case despite being a materialized soul.

The warrior was prepared for this time around, as he had been mentally preparing himself during the training long enough. The body laid there seemingly inert as the blood pool slowly increased in size.

Eventually, the neck regenerated itself, imperceptibly at first as Stiles was applying what he had realized over the course of the training. The basis of this part of Impact training was treating the body and mind as a whole, not two separate units. In his case, mind and body were literally one. It was just a matter of getting rid of preconceived perceptions thrust upon him since his training during his days as a youth.

He was, in a sense, starting over. The moment the regeneration on his severed neck became perceptible, his body took on a green tint as his aura manifested upon it in that form. The faster the regeneration became, the thicker the aura.

When his brainstem was regenerated along with his jaw, the aura took on green fire as his spiritual pressure took on a noticeable level, faint at first. It increased exponentially the more his head regenerated and the moment it was fully healed, small runic markings of blue effulgent flames appeared on his skin like before. They glowed a bright blue as his spiritual pressure kept increasing as he regained consciousness.

He got up in a flash, having that classic constipated look from DBZ, yelling as he sought to get past his limits. The runes then turned an angry red before shattering off his body complete with the sound effect as his pressure seemed to reach a crescendo. He had this fleeting feeling he was finally freed and able to go past some more before he passed out in a heap.

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-10-21 16:09 EST
"......... well shit now i know how his wife feels."

he sat down there and continued to watch Stiles. he plots traps of an assholish nature during the silence.

Stiles Mornay

His aura had faded off as he laid there conked out. After a few minutes, he came to and sat up dazedly, not quite trusting himself on his two feet just yet. He noticed the pool of his blood and blinked before looking over to Yejix apparently getting high off a bowl of weed.

"I did it, comrade! I finally did it! How long was I out?"

Yejix Zabiru

Date: 2010-10-21 16:22 EST
"10 minutes. go rest. while you rest up at home, meditate. re-tune your energies. I cannot do any more until you do so."

Stiles Mornay

Date: 2010-10-21 16:34 EST
He blinked at Yejix's words and rose an eyebrow at the short time. It felt like an eternity to him.

In any case, he nodded and then got up with an effort not to fall over and managed to walk back to his room. He'd be meditating for a long time, all righty.
