Crossing the Yasuo Mountains to reach the Zabiru Crag Line wasn't easy. Fighting his way through mountain monsters and golems made of natural steel was just a warm-up on his way to Death Castle..

No, In order to reach Death Castle he would have to go through Kagekai, the land of the Undead.

Yejix stands upon the summit of a line of crags he made nearly 100 years ago out of anger of seeing his once home turf turned into a zombie wasteland, and it is only because of these mountains that Rhydin is spared the death and disease these foul, walking corpses bring.

So it was with a heavy heart (or is that hearts? He has two.) that he descends the mountain not in peace, but with his guns ready. There is no time to fight them all, he has to make a beeline for the border of Shikai where the holy lands are that make further infestation impossible.

So it would be with these few days of running for his own survival that he guns down everyone he meets, letting the Zombies eat blessed lead.

A week. A whole bloody week of running, hiding and camping just to get to the borders of Kasuto.

The kill count was in the hundred-thousands, and he had long since ran out of ammunition for long range combat.. Sauron's schemings and enhancements to the undead had rendered them immune to magick, forcing him to go on a pure melee offensive after he had to put his guns away.

It was another 3 days at full running speed before he would reach the ruins of Fort Zeakden, and another three before he got to Old Kasuto. From there it was an afternoon's worth of travel to reach the ruins of Death Castle.

..But he knew they weren't really ruins.

He could have outright avoided having to fight at all if he had just warped there, but that was impossible.

Old Family Blood Wards made it absolutely impossible for anybody without Mornay blood to use any kind of transportation magicks at all in this country, as he and Stiles long ago decided that if the Aesir was going to be a madman and live in this country of the damned, he'd better be as impregnable as possible.

..oh why did he agree to help him cast that old magick?!

"You're getting lazy, Yejix. There was once a time you were insatiable for battle and the thrill of charging the gates of hell with a bucket of snowballs," he admonished himself.

It would be at that time he was currently encamped in Fort Zeakden, replenishing his arrow supplies from the undamaged weapon caches, and would not travel again until dawn.

..it would be suicide to do so at night, because at night, the Lethifolds, terrible soul-sucking creatures that looked incredibly like Ringwraiths, would come out to hunt.

Yejix would be within only kilometers of approaching the castle, when his ears perked suddenly, and his nose twitched.

Slowly he turned around and saw the familiar casting of Ultira being used, seeing that damned white helix blast from the sky, and then feeling a pulse. A deep pulse.

He reached out with his mind and body, deep within the magick of the land and the harmony of the planet, to find two familiar signatures in the throes of combat.

"...Oh..Shit.." HIs eyes snapped open. He had seen a destroyed lightsaber and massive collateral damage..

But more importantly, he felt -it.- The bloodthirsty soul of Ultima Weapon waking from his slumber.

It would be at that moment, lethifolds be damned, he breaks out of Fort Zeakden and heads for that battle, to stop Zero from killing Stiles..knowing deep inside his heart that the Daedra might do it.

"F*ck me sideways running.." He pulled a miniaturized racing broom from his pack, resized it and leapt onto it in mid run, achieving speeds of 150 miles an hour in 5 seconds flat.
