Hanzo carried his child to the first place he could think of. The Red Dragon Inn. Of course, this wasn't the most ideal place to take a child still in his toddler years, but this was a place where many cultures and beings came together to meet and conversate, make friends and enemies, whether they be intelligent or ignorant.

He sat down the kid on a barstool, improvising with a few phonebooks to boost him up to the bar. He went back into the kitchen, placing a gold along with a few scattered silvers in the til. He went back into the kitchen and rummaged around for something a kid would like. Fruits. *He thought.* Lots of colorful, delicious fruit... along with.. *He began to prepare a varierty of berries, strawberries, raspberries, blue-berries, cherries all in one little tea cup and setting it on the counter. Next, was the meat, in which he retrieved an old, crude looking skillet, placing the raw beef in there placing it over a fire. He let down the fruit cup in front of his child, watching him devour it with no shame or bashful-ness at all, juices flowing down his chin, mixing togther as they went down his shirt. He snickered, went back in the kitchen and flipped the burger, listening to it sizzle.

He came back out, it being 3 am in the morning, Guido was the only one around, and even he was in a comatose-like state. He tapped his fingers on the counter top, gently grooming the kids hair into something halfway decent, at least not matted down and clumped up. He removed the burger, placed it on a few buns and added a little ketchup, and setting it before him. What will I call you.. *He thought, having no idea since he never even thought of having a kid. He smiled as the kid opened his mouth farther than a normal child, inhaling the burger in only three bites. He stood amazed, grabbing the kid, tossing the plate out the window and rinsing the cup out. Finally, he took the sleeping child upstairs with the room he bought along with the food.*

Oh..? *His eyes somewhat gazed to Takuya, having a curious demeanor.* What are you doing here so... late? It's almost 3 in the morning. *He paused and looked down at the child.* This is my adopted child.. uhh.. I haven't thought of a name for him yet. *He shrugged.* I'll come up with one eventually.

He did *not* know what he was winking at, obviously the child was in a deep slumber on his arm. He walked upstairs, placed him in a bed, tucked him in with a teddy bear and slowly and silently, walked back down the stairs.

"Quit fooling yourself, Hanzo. Nothing can make amends for all those lives you carelessly slaughtered under your blade."

He put his head down and shook his head, staring into the darkness. Figuring no one else would disturb him in a such a wee hour of the morning, he removed the silk top he wore, leaving himself bareskinned, with the additional adorments of slashes, punctures and other acts of malice. He poured himself a glass of sake and stared into one of Rhy'Din's two moons, being under a trance like state of glowing orb in the sky.

Last week wednesday.. *He sighed, before turning back to his table, idly carving his name and and some symbols into the table.*

Walking up the stairs, sighing, as he could hear his child whining in the early sunrise. He grabbed the boy in a rough manner, grabbing him by one foot as he heated some water for his bath.

Boy still in hand, he walked down the stairs and nodded to Guido, wondering when people will be in attendance. By now, the child's shirt was over his face, muffling his pouts and such. He stared at the child and ... *Hand slips.* drops the kid. Running upstairs in an insane manner, Hanzo slowly followed after him, shaking his head. "Too much work for one child.. bathe it... feed it.. entertain.."

Hanzo stared into the child's piercing, steel gray eyes. In a similar fact, the child was staring directly at him, a perfect reflection of the ninja in his eyes, from the small strands of hair to his face to even the almost invisible dimples in his cheeks.

"Come child, we are staying here no longer. We will find some excitement rather than to sit here in this boring Inn." Grabbing the child by his right ankle, a fading red handprint was there from earlier, he swiftly exited and leapt off into the distant multi-colored horizon.

Hanzo slowed down, his ninjistu was taking too much energy from him. It was the night of the New Moon, he was only guided by the light of the grain-sized stars. The child subconciously hanged around his neck like a heavy necklace, his shallow breaths warming his shoulders and neck.

He decided to only use one ninjistu skill, his sixth sense, Ki- or enhanced clairvoyance. As he walked past innumerable alleyways and small streets, he sensed at least one soul, tucked away in the shadows, peering at him in caution. He kept walking, headed North, following the brightest star and suddenly turned right, slowly walking up mountain peaks and down into valley, coming up to a dark, deep forest. He sighed, leaping into a tree branch, sending panicking birds flapping into the moonless sky.

After what seemed to be hundreds, even thousands of branches, he finally reached the end and peered up, a huge establishment, something similar to a manor.

"I need to put my child to rest somewhere, somewhere.. with a bed. I wonder if the occupants of that residence will let show me hospitality." *He walked up the path, exhausted from canopy leaping, his breaths becoming one with his child's, a serene rhythm that also made him tired.*
