Dear Sev,
I just wanted to send a quick letter and let you know that I had gotten home all right. It'll probably be a few more days until everything's settled back into an easy routine again, but it's good to be away from the city, and certainly good that it's not as hot out as it has been.
Owen's doing all right; he's getting much more tame, though not trained yet. But hopefully soon he will be.
How's Dusty? How's your herd? For that matter, how's your ankle and your supply of stickies? I'm still using the ones you gave me; they come in very handy even just to remind myself to do something.
Anyway, take care of yourself and I hope to hear from you soon.
