The great gray Orc awoke at last. He wasn't terribly well-rested, and he seemed a bit agitated, but that could be chalked up to any number of things at this critical stage in the development of the tribe. He stumbled his way out of the Cheiftan's home, and into the forests. He was unfamiliar with the areas surrounding Koruush's home, and it took him a great while to find his way to the build site of the Hall. From that more central point, he made his way deep into the woods, and then even deeper, to a system of caves he had discovered during a hunt. Once he had made his way to the deepest and darkest caverns in the system, he found what he had been looking for. The shrine to Gruumsh that he had been instructed to build by the One-Eye himself. He was assured that none would be able to find it, save him. He began the long task of the Commune. After he had entered the trance-like state, his body seemed to release him. He found himself in the hall of Gruumsh himself. The One-Eye sat at a great table, lined with the meats and drinks of many lands. It was truly the feat of a god.
The great gray Orc bowed to the One-Eye, and looked up to him, knowing what he would have to soon do. "When shall it be done, my master?" The god looked upon him, gnawing on the leg of some animal Kark couldn't begin to imagine. "Upon the day that the hall is completed. You know what will become of you should anything go wrong, do you not?" The Orc bowed his head, "I will die. And the Fury will be lost with me." The One-Eye laughed with force enough to shake his own hall before he responded, still gnawing on that leg. "Then you are prepared. I will have something for you upon that day, servant. Something to keep your energies at their peak for the remainder of you days, so that you may longer yet serve my purposes. I believe it's something you possessed long ago." The Orc bowed his head yet further, fighting any urges to ask, though he already knew. "I- I am honored by your benevolence more and more each day, my master. The One-Eye laughed again, shaking the hall to its foundations. "For one such as yourself, it isn't benevolence I have to show." The Orc was now a finger's width from the ground, bowed to such depths as he was. "Of course, my master. I shall serve your wishes until my death, regardless of my status as an Avatar." The god tossed the dry bone to the side before rising. He walked over and roughly lifted Kark to his feet. They stood at the same height as the One-Eye landed a blow upon the great gray Orc's chest that would have shattered the body of a Human. Fighting to keep his footing, he knew he'd gotten the equivalent of a gentle pat. He dipped his head again, as the god spoke for the last time. "Your may no longer be an Avatar when this is over, but you will remain charged. Do not rage needlessly, and do not forget that when I call, you shall come. You may become a great vassal for your fellows yet. Help them to lead in a victorious and honorable tribe, and your work may please me some day soon." He laughed once more before the vision faded, and the great gray Orc awoke within the caverns.
His way out of the caverns was an easy enough trek, and making it back to the build site, he couldn't help but to begin working on the building alone, lifting things that would normally take teams of laborers, constructing at a frightful pace. For the glory of the Cheiftan he would see this Hall completed within the remainder of the month. For the glory of Gruumsh he would deliver the Fury unto the Cheiftan. For the glory of the Tribe he would persevere. For glory and honor.
