Des digs through the notes on her Oracle desk and comes up at last with the one that she almost had submitted for this month's issue of the paper but then had changed her mind.

She would just get more information and submit an even better article on this for next month's issue she decided. Out the door she went and off to start showing the article to people to see what she could find out about this dead deer on the steps of the Inn.

Dead deer found on steps of the Dragon

A patron renting a room at the Red Dragon Inn, returning in the early morning hours was given quite a shock when they found a dead deer strewn across the stairs leading up the porch of the infamous Inn.

It was first believed the animal died of some sort of natural causes, but when the tanner arrived to take the carcas away it was discovered the animals neck had been snapped, the wind-pipe crushed and there were definate signs of bite marks. And while obscured by the early morning traffic, close inspection showed the animal had been dragged there sometime in the night.

There are plenty of beasts roaming about RhyDin that could have done this, but why it was brought to the Red Dragon Inn and deposited on the front steps remains a mystery.
