Sha'uri was once again finding her way to the Oracle. Several things ran through her mind as she searched for Wyheree's desk, this time someone was actually here and she got directions to the right spot where she'd wait for her friend.

How long had it been since she'd seen her? She hoped Wyh got the gift she sent her. Sha'uri pondered this as she rewrote the ad's she would place in the paper. She also contemplated a possible line up on an interview depending on what her friend thought.

Sha'uri finished the ad's while she was waiting and placed them on Wyh's desk... and then she waited some more.

Ravensheart School is contemplating the expansion of its curriculum to include not only lessons of various magical natures, but also a more normal choice of subjects:

Math, Literature, Science, Health, Cooking, Wilderness survival, horsemanship and more.

We are in need of competent and caring teachers and professors to come and teach the children, all children, of RhyDin here. All those interested, please contact either Sha'uri Arrowny or Briarius Ravensheart at the Ravensheart School for the Gifted.

********** Ad #2 (Announcement) ***************

Jump Gate Technology has been set up between RhyDin and Exodii solar system located several systems from here. Communication must be opened with the satellite before the location is dialed in the gate and the portal is open for space ship travel. We can accomodate ships as large as battlecruisers. For specifics, please verify when in communication with the satellite prior to attempting passage through the portal... we are not responsible for separated and virtually impossible to repair portions of your ship zapped across the system to only the gods know where if you are too big to fit. So, Know your size.

One Gate is in a very high orbit of Exodii planet and the other was recently set in place in high orbit above RhyDin. These were set, tested and now open during the holidays, along with a communications satellite linked to the gate and its crew.

Travel between the two planets is open. A satellite for communication and surveillance is in orbit of RhyDin and a few orbit Exodii planet. Contact these and they will dial in the opening of the gate.

Questions will be asked to the nature of your business, ship's identity, your identity, expected length and location of stay and possible searches may occur from time to time. This is for security of both RhyDin and Exodii. Those who refuse to answer or submit will be denied travel through the gate or dealt with accordingly, so be warned.

Planet Side, another Gate is in place bewteen RhyDin City and Exodii City, one that will accomodate more mundane travel such as, but not limited to, walking or wagons....

In Exodii..

A huge building was placed over the road in the center of Exodii city harboring the jumpgate portal. This was to ensure travel in winter would not find those from RhyDin walking unaware into a deadly freeze zone in the arctic mid winter month of January on Exodii (yes it gets that cold), but instead moving into the safety of a huge warm barn, for all intents and purposes. This barn would help house horses and goods temporarily. Business could commence as it used to do so long ago when the Woodshadows ruled the city of Exodii.

In RhyDin...

The Gate in RhyDin is located on the east west road along the northern side of the river towards the western edge by the western bridge, almost directly across the river from Belarus Corp.-Port. Directly south of the Gate along the beachfront are the Exodii Enterprise warehouses. North of the Portal is the cluster of four shops, the Exodii Enterprises, nestled together along that corner of the block. Business will be open.

Travel using the Gates....

Travel through the gates will be limited to either walking or vehicles no wider then a wagon, nor moving through faster then a walking pace and certainly not over the height limit of 15 feet.

Four gaurds are placed to each destination side of the portal to help direct the flow of traffic not only through the portal but those passing by and around it on the street. We do not want to see anyone accidently go through, so this will be manned continuously.

The portal is wide enough to allow two wagon loads side by side if necessary. Four more guards are on the Exodii side. The guards are there to make sure that all coming in or out are properly noted and checked.

Also, there are no fees for travel through the portal, though a general search would commence for everyone going through, along with some questioning ... for example: name, reason for travel, expected length of stay. . etc. Those who refuse to answer, be searched, or try to force their way through the portal will be dealt with accordingly. Be warned.

As an added insurance, an anti magic zone is centered covering everything fifty feet from the portal. Teleportation, other Gate magics and transporter type technology are also blocked within the same range. Yes, it is possible to block magic with technology... it really works.

Feel free to use the portal and visit the Exodii System. There are a few planets prime for Terra forming and Exodii Enterprises would be willing to negotiate a project of such magnitude. Inquiries may be channeled through Sha'uri Arrowny who may be contacted at either the Citadel in Exodii City, through the City's Mayor, or at the Ravensheart School for the Gifted here in RhyDin.

Happy Travels everyone!

Wyheree

Wyh dashed into the Oracle office, late from checking out the new ship at the docks, and skidded to her desk, surprised to see Shauri waiting for her. She waved to her old friend as she settled at her icy desk, her smile bright.

"Shauri - it has been far too long since I have seen you! I have been meaning to thank you for the gift - things have been quite busy, as James and I have gotten a home here in RhyDin."

Wyh looked over the ads Shauri had on the desk next to her.

"What may I help you with? Did you need these placed in the Oracle? How have you been faring? I have really missed you!"

She chuckled gently to the barrage of questions.

"Yes, it's been a long time and I have missed you. I'd love to see your new home some time. I'm sorry I missed your wedding, but by the time I found out, it was a little too late to attend. So, with raising Tina, meeting up with old family, finding her a father and adopting her, fending off evil tyrants with designs on destroying Exodii by using Tina as a weapon, mending old travel ways between my home town and RhyDin with new ones, and helping in the plans of expanding the school to include a much broader range of subjects and students.... plus a plethora of other things in between those highlights, like the usual and unusual holiday events .... I think I can relate to the rush of life."

A wink from her mirthful gaze was sent to Wyh, along with a gentle giggle. With a gentle sigh, her expression eased into a more serious nature, though never quite losing the mirthful sparkle in her eyes.

"Hmm.. yes, those articles I think should be published. I'm sure people are already wondering what that big ring is in the middle of the road. So I thought it would be best to offer the explanation of the jump gates and the reopening of old shops so that those wishing to use them, might. My Grandfather, Excalibar Woodshadow, had much to do with several shops that used to reside in RhyDin. Actually, in his day, he was into everything in RhyDin."

She paused with a sad sigh, though the smile was planted back on just as quickly.

"Anyway, through various realm shaking events, the portals were lost and apparently the businesses died here, unable to replenish goods from Exodii City. So, my son, Alexander .... who should've been born a tinker gnome, though thankfully was not ... devised new portals and I was able to reclaim the shops for our city, plus a few other nearby buildings. Though quite small now, I hope the shops will prosper here, for there is much that could be done between here and Exodii City or even the System if things develop as hoped. And that is the brundt of the Ad on the second article there."

Relaxing in the chair a bit, she crossed her arms and stroked her chin thoughtfully.

"As for the first one on the school teachers... Briari was a little vague on some of the details ... but I bet if you could catch him, he just might give you an interview. All I know is that we are expanding not only the curriculum but the type of students we will enroll. I do think the Headmaster should speak on this and an interview is in order along with the ad for the need of teachers. He might be too .. er... shy.. to just come in himself asking for one, but I'm not."

Imp... a conspiring Imp was the only way to describe that visage as she crossed her long legs and leaned forward, dropping her tone to almost a whisper.

"So, if you stalk him .. say, Sunday or Monday late afternoons through late night .. or both.. maybe even Tuesday, you might just be able to corner him for an interview and have time to write it up for the next Oracle."

Nodding with a deep wink, she leaned back shifting her gaze away, looking quite the innocent with her gaze perusing the wall to her right, across the ceiling and back down to Wyh with a Cheshire smile.

"Any Questions?"
