His personal armory was inventoried, the ship's armory and sundries had been inventoried and now Sui found himself in the galley, relaxing and drinking what was left of his personal stash of whiskey. One booted foot was on the table and he was lucky that CeCe was no where to be found. Dressed in his typical attire of camouflage fatigues, his beloved Sara nestled cozily at his side, as always. It'd been a few weeks since they busted Pol's uncle from the jail and Sui was more than happy to be in the black; with his family intact.

As always, however, Sui's peace and quiet was about to be shattered, albeit gently, by the arrival of Aidyn. She didn't sleep long hours in the black, often awake long after everyone else had gone to bed, and she was well used to having the ship to herself at such times. Hence, she felt absolutely no embarrassment in dancing barefoot into the galley in her nightclothes - a raggedy tank and shorts that were more appropriate for underwear - singing to herself. She flashed Sui a wide grin before ducking behind the galley counter. "Countin' sheep, Grumpy Pants?"

When Aidyn appeared in the galley doorway, Sui slowly lowered his shot glass onto the table and dropped his feet to the ground. He stared, as if he'd never seen a woman before; jaw dropped and eyes wide. He wasn't used to seeing the doc in anything less than what she normally wore. Slowly his head swiveled on his neck as he watched her dance across the floor like some dancing queen. The spell was broken the second she spoke and he leaned back with a soft chuckle. "Don't be talkin' bout countin' nothing, Mei Mei. I've had my fill of countin' for one day." The shot glass was picked up and he downed the contents in a single swallow.

"Got 'nough in tha' bottle fer two?" Aidyn asked him with no cessation of her grin; she'd seen the look he'd given her as she entered, and was fully expecting to be bawled out for wearing less than a whore in a public place. That was the only real trouble with Sui, she reflected; he really didn't see her as anything but a little girl, despite the number of times she'd patched him up in the past. Grabbing her mug, she moved out from the galley and plunked herself down on the table in front of him, crossing her legs Indian-style and waving the mug at him.

"Think y'can handle it?" There was a smirk and he slid the bottle across the table to her. "Better not let Cap or Brent see ya like that. They'll think I'm corruptin' ya." Perhaps it was the drink that was getting to him, but he couldn't resist the urge to give her a good once over with his eyes.

She snorted merrily, flicking her blazing red hair out of her eyes. "I kin handle anythin' ya can," came her challenge, brown eyes twinkling with good humour as she caught the bottle, tipping it up to pour a more than generous amount into her cup. She pushed the bottle back over to him. "Who cares wha' they think? They ain't gonna see anythin' past th' end of Brent's dong for th' next month or so, anyways."

"I didn't need to know that," he groaned as he captured the bottle and poured himself another shot. Sui knew a challenge when he saw it, and could rarely resist one. "Y'think y'kin handle anythin? Well you got about three shots to catch up. Make it quick!" and he pushed the bottle back towards her.

Her mouth opened in a loud laugh as he accepted her challenge, and Sui was treated to the sight of Aidyn knocking back the contents of her mug - a good four inches of whiskey - with barely a wince. Her eyes did water a little, though. Giggling as the liquid burned its way down her throat, she reached out and took another swig directly from the bottle before pushing it back. "See ya and raise ya," she grinned wickedly, laying one hand flat on the table to hide the faint sway in her posture as the alcohol took affect.

Sui had a poker face that even the best of card players dreamed of. Even as impressed as he was by Aidyn's ability to take in that much whiskey without batting an eye, he never showed it. Instead, he lifted his shot and downed it with one swallow. Then he took the bottle from the table and with a nod, he upended it and took a very healthy swig. "Mmaaah!" he lowered the bottle and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Your turn. See ya and raise double."

"That ain't fair, ya mouth's bigger'n mine," she laughed in response, scooting closer so she wouldn't have to catch the bottle as it was swung at her. This change of position put her feet firmly in Sui's lap, though she didn't seem to have noticed. She lifted the bottle in both hands, very ladylike indeed ... until she started to drink. One, two, three, four swallows of the burning liquid, and she lowered the bottle, gasping and coughing, but still with that wide grin on her lips. "Tag, y'it."

"Then y'gotta take more..." he didn't finish before her feet were in his lap and she was upending the bottle. Once she was done, he took the bottle from her and brought it to his lips once more. After a long pause, he brought the bottle back down and put it on the table. "I think y've had 'nough, Squirt. Y'eyes are crossin'."

"Nah, tha's y'eyes goin' all squiggly," Aidyn countered, wiggling one finger towards the end of his nose as she giggled happily. "Whassa matter, Suizy? Scared m'gonna beat ya?" She lifted her leg with exaggerated care and poked the end of his nose gently with her big toe. Her hand, meanwhile, had caught up the bottle, and she took another swig from it.

"Hmmph." His eyes crossed as first her finger, then her toe poked at the end of his nose. Before she could pull her foot away, he snapped his teeth just short of the end of her toe. "I ain't scared o'nothin'. 'Cept maybe Reavers." He gave a silent shudder and took the bottle back to take another swig. This time, however, he emptied the bottle. With a smug grin, he slammed the bottle down onto the table. "I win!"

"Onl-only 'cos there's no more, ya big rufftey tufftey cuddly bear," she objected cheerfully, waving her hands in a random display of vague disgust at the shortening of their game. "I got some, bu' I cain't use it, 'cos elsewise nothin'd keep y'on th'table if'n ya got all shot up an' stuff." She grinned suddenly, leaning down until her nose touched his, looking crosseyed into his eyes. "Ya git nightmares over Reavers, big boy?"

Her inebriation was causing him great amusement, and his smile reflected that. "Who doesn't get nightmares 'bout Reavers? Since when is it fun to cut up y'face like a jigsaw puzzle and eat people?" There was a warmth that was speading through his body and he felt relaxed enough to pull Aidyn into his lap and hold her there.

There wasn't any resistance from the intoxicated medic as she was drawn off the table and into Sui's lap. In fact, Aidyn curled herself up as though she belonged there more than happily, tugging at his stubble. "Ain't nev-never seen a Reaper," she mused thoughtfully. "Ain't never seen a lot of stuff, reeeelly." She drew out the word for as long as she could, then burst into giggles at the silly sound. "Seen a lot of boys."

He found his arms curling around her comfortably and he leaned back, relaxing even more. "Seen a lot of boys? Should I be introducin' any of them to Sara?"

She snorted, arms everywhere until she managed to get one around his neck, pulling herself up to look into his face. "No, silly, they ain't worth a bullet," she assured him. "B'sides, Greg took out a few of 'em when we was littler. When I was littler. He was always bigger."

"And y'll always be littler," he smirked and brought a blunted ended finger up to tap her nose. "T'bad I never got to meet his Greg person. He sounds like a good good fella." Somehow that hand that had tapped her nose found itself playing with her copper curls.

"S'my brother," Aidyn shrugged, distracting herself from her attempt to catch his finger in her teeth. She did, however, produce a sound that was almost like a purr as he started to play with her hair. "How come ya don't never talk 'bout ya fam'ly, Sui?"

To her question, he merely shrugged. "Ain't much t'be tellin'. M'brother took off and left me and mom to fend for ourselves. Dad was never around. Mom's sick and I'm trying t'find m'brother." He answered the question calmly and cooly.

"Ya don't gotta girl what's waitin' f' ya?" Tactful as ever, that was Aidyn. She realised what she'd said, though, and quickly covered her mouth, mumbling an apology through her fingers. "Sorry ... ain't s'posed t'talk 'bout ya trim an' how ya not gettin' it."

After the short fling with Carson, Sui was of the mind that whores were the better and easier way to go. He laughed at her question and then sudden bumbling apology for it. "Y'wantin' t'talk about gettin' trim?" Sui just shook his head and laughed then. "I pay for trim. Easier that way. They don't want nothin' but my money and I don't have t'worry 'bout getting all twisted sideways with feelings." He said the last word with disgust.

"That ain't true," Aidyn objected straightaway. "Ya don't get all twisted up wi' feelin's, 'cos, 'cos, 'cos ya feel somethin' 'bout me, an' it don't got all twisted an' stuff, an' ya ain't made no big messes or nothin'." As she spoke, her finger prodded into his collarbone. "An' don't ya go wastin' all ya money on gettin' trim, I ain't treatin' ya fer any nasty diseases what ain't nobdy's fault but yers."

His brows shot up with amused surprised. "I have feelin's for ya?" He didn't mean to be cruel or sound mean, he was just surprised. Even as she poked him in the collarbone and was lecturing him on the dangers of STD's, he turned his head and his mouth moved but no sound came out. It was a sign that he was mentally chewing on something.

Her expression changed all at once from sloppily stern to pleadingly surprised. "Ya don't?" She leaned back, shifting to kneel on his legs as she looked at him. "That ain't fair. Ain't fair no one likes me f'r more'n a few months. I ain't ugly, am I? Or real embarrassin' or nasty?"

Her sudden change of expression and position had Sui instinctively shaking his head and mouthing the word "no" several times as she spoke. Finally, he got in a verbal "No," and repeated it several times. "I jus', well you n' Chris... Y'not ugly. I even would venture t'say you're kinda pretty when you're not elbow deep in blood."

"S'us'ly your blood," she reminded him sternly, before thumping down once again across his lap. "There ain't no me'n Chris, I tol' ya it was jus' a bit of fun, didn' I?" Before he could answer that, though, Aidyn had stretched out, all pale legs and hands waving above her head, her back arched as she looked down at herself. "D'ya think I should stuff m'bra?"

"Well I don't like th'look of m'blood. It should be inside, not outside," he explained with a nod. And then she had to go ahead and stretch like that. His brows rose once again and he was barely able to keep from grabbing a handful. Her question caught him off guard and his eyes went wide with shock. "Why ya askin' me? I don't know bout such things."

"Sure ya do, y'been with loadsa girls an' wimmin," Aidyn pointed out, relaxing to curl up once more, apparently completely innocent of what her little display had done. "Ya know what men like. So's m' I too little ev'rywhere?"

"I ain't been with lots and lots," he snorted and shook his head. "I ain't all men. I can only speak for m'self. And I tihnk you're just fine the way y'are, Aidyn. Don't y'be lettin' anybody tell y'otherwise."

"Jus' fine?" For all his blustering, Sui really didn't know how to talk to females, let alone drunk females. Aidyn scowled at him, albeit without truly meaning to. "Minute ago I was pretty. Now m'jus' fine. 'Fore I get t' bed, I'll have a great pers'nality."

Now it was Sui's turn to be confused and flustered. "Well what d'ya want me t'say? Y'are just fine. Y'are pretty. And y'do have a great person... hey! What are y'gettin' at?" He scowled back at her, just as intensely.

She stuck her tongue out at him, shifting to sit not across his lap, but straddling his lap, rather closer than either of them should have been entirely comfortably with. "I jus' want a hones' answer outta ya," she said pointedly. "M'I too small?" And to emphasise her point, she caught his hands and laid them firmly over her bosom.

"Too small fer... hey!" Even though it surprised Sui that Aidyn had placed his hands on her breasts, he didn't remove them. In fact, he gave a testing squeeze. "Are they real?"

She was more than a little surprised by the fact that her womanly attributes seemed to disappear in his palms, never mind the warm fuzzy feeling that had nothing to do with the alcohol. His question, however, sparked a loud snorting laugh and a weak punch to his shoulder. "Course they're real! I ain't got th' money t'get all puffed up an' bloated like them Companions!"

"Y'supposed to slap m'face and tell me I'm horrible." Sui chuckled and moved his hands from her breasts down to her waist. "You're beautiful, Aidyn. Any fella would be lucky t'have ya. And any man that walks away from ya is an idiot."

"Grew up on St Albans, y'don't slap a fella fer doin' stuff when ya invited him to," she shrugged, laying her hands over his wrists as he lowered his grasp. At the compliment, she preened, her natural smile shining forth while she chewed at her bottom lip. "F'real?"

"Honest t'goodness," Sui nodded with a smile. "What, y'don't look in th' mirror? Y'don't see it?" He asked in earnest, as if she should know these things already. "Or are y'askin' jus' so's I say nice things?"

She didn't answer that, swaying slightly in her seat on his lap. A wide smile did touch her lips, however, and she flung her arms around his neck in a throttling hug, planting a sloppy smacker of a kiss half on his mouth and half on his cheek. "Ya such a sweet fella!"

He was slightly startled by the kiss and his arms flew up as if he were conceding victory to her. Slowly his arms came back down so his hands rested upon her shoulders and he gave her a gentle push back so that he could speak. "I ain't sweet. Nothin' sweet' 'bout me, girl. People hear y'say that and next thing y'know they'll be expectin' tea and crumpets before I shoot 'em."

"Hey, I ain't gonna shout it off've th' 'hawke's hull next time we land or anythin'," she snickered, batting his hands off her shoulders as she lit on a new game. Wrapping her arms around his head - which put him in the unenviable position of almost being squashed into the cleavage he'd felt up only moments earlier - she hugged him tightly. "Y'are sweet, y'my sweetest, friendliest, favourist person on th' ship!"

"Y'better...." he couldn't finish before he was squished into her cleavage. "Two can play this game." Sui's mind raced and he took a deep breath. Bringing his hands down, he squeezed both breasts and turned his head rapidly, blowing raspberries onto the inner curves of her bosom.

Letting out a shriek of laughter, Aidyn made to pull back, catching his hat before it hit the deck and plonking it on her own head before grasping his face firmly in both hands and planting loud, wet kisses all over his stubbly cheeks.

Next thing he knew, he was being kissed, all over his cheeks. "Gorram it girl. If y'gonna do somethin', do it right." He put his hands upon her cheeks to hold her head still. Then he leaned forward just enough to plant a kiss to her lips. It wasn't a sweet soft kiss, but one meant to scandalize.

What he got in return was probably not what he had been expecting. Aside from an initial squeak of surprise, Aidyn was certainly not against being kissed by Sui. In fact, her arms were already in the process of curling about him as she began to respond, urged on by the alcohol-induced confidence.

Somewhere, in the back of his alcohol hazed mind, something was telling him that this was all wrong. But the little voice was drowned out by the loud beating of his heart. As she responded, he canted his head and lowered his arms to pull her tightly to his chest.

It really is quite astonishing how quickly a game can turn deathly serious. And this game certainly had; if either of them got the next few moments wrong, they might never speak to one another again. Mind you, Aidyn wasn't exactly thinking about talking at all right now. As Sui pulled her tightly to him, her lips opened, encouraging more intimacy, not less.

Instincts kicked in and soon Sui had Aidyn nearly bent backwards over his arm. With the parting of her lips, his own followed suit. The nearly bruising kiss turned far more soft and sensual as his hand slid down her back and he grasped her behind. There was a slight moan from his throat as he forced her hips to grind down onto his own.

Her back arched as he guided her against him, pressing intimately close. The sudden gentle sensuality of him seemed to make her melt into putty in his hands, drawing a quiet, longing moan from her lips to his as she ground her body against him.

"Not here." He panted as he pulled from the kiss. He only took the briefest of moments to look into her flushed face before he stood up, with her still wrapped around him. He held her there. His bunk was out of the question; too hard and too many sharp pointy things for her to get hurt on. So when he travelled the short distance to the bunks, it was hers that he went to.

And her bunk was definitely a female bunk. Flowers painted on the walls, good linens on the small bed, a spray of lights across one wall to illuminate the little space just enough for comfort. During the short journey there, Aidyn had not been idle, running hands and lips over his face and neck as her legs squeezed rhythmically around him. Alcohol is a wonderful thing, isn't it?

Indeed, alcohol is a wonderful thing. Only when they were finally in her bunk area did Sui bend his head down to return the feverish kisses that Aidyn had been supplying. As he stumbled towards the bunk, itself, he didn't pay attention to the flowers or the lights. He tripped over something and merely grunted into Aidyn's open mouth as there was a crash of a lamp falling over. As gently as he could muster, he bent at the waist and lowered Aidyn onto the bed, quickly covering her body with his own.

Laying back, Aidyn smiled owlishly up at him in the moments before he lay over her, curling her arms tightly about his neck as she sighed. Her legs slipped from around him slowly, relaxing onto the soft sheets at her back as another sigh left her. A slightly harsher sigh. In fact ... Aidyn's arms relaxed around his neck. No, that was definitely a snore.

Sui was amazed at how soft Aidyn was. He was very careful to keep from crushing her and finally he straightened his arms and looked down at her intently. "You sure you're wantin' this?" His hand slid down her body and came to a stop over the heated and moist juncture between her legs.

"Mmm ..." She shifted lazily, applying a remarkable amount of strength in her sleepy state to roll onto her side, taking him with her. At which point, Sui began to resemble nothing so much as a teddybear, being hugged possessively by the little woman now coiled around him.

He was rolled to the side and couldn't help but chuckle at how wrapped around him Aidyn was. "Damn, you born in a pretzel factory?" For some reason the heat of passion had left and he settled in for a comfortable snuggle.

She mumbled something incoherent against his shoulder and squeezed gently, before falling deeper into sleep. And then the snoring really started. It wasn't so much the snorting as she breathed in, as the hnrh hnrh whimper that escaped when she breathed out. Right next to his ear.

Sui's brows lifted as his head came up slowly from the pillow. He stared down into Aidyn's face and shook his head. "Damn." Slowly and carefully he began to extricate himself from Aidyn's arms and legs.

A soft protest escaped her as her arms and legs tightened around him. The teddybear was not leaving, not if she had anything to do with it.

"She's gonna scream in the morning." Sui lay back down, defeatedly. As he gently caressed Aidyn's back, his own lids drooped until he was snoring in concert with Aidyn.

((Thanks to Sui!))
