On a piece of nice parchment, heavily warded against harm, was written the following:

The people of RhyDin propose a petition to include a vote of "No Confidence" on the ballot during the upcoming election for governor for those who believe the city does not require such an authority figure. Those desiring to support the push for the ability to vote "No Confidence," please sign below.

((OOC Note:: If your character would like to place their name on the petition so that we can get a No Confidence slot on the ballot simply post that they did so in reply to this post.))

Carley

During the primaries, the little blonde elf hadn't a clue to vote for, so she did the only sensible thing at the time: She voted for G, because Erin had told her to. In truth? She wasn't thrilled with doing so, since he had threatened The Stitch with sumo wrestlers and grease, and things had been okay without a governor before. And the ones up for election, well, they seemed more heavy handed than Kitty ever was, and Carley just wasn't sure what to think, or what to do...

...at least until she saw the petition on the bulletin board. It didn't take much more thought after that for her to sign her name.

The dark brooding one just happened to be in Rhy'Din at the moment. In time to see the parchment put up. Slightly quirking a brow a moment, as he watched Carley sigh her name up. After she was done, he walked over to it. Reading it over. He took note of the names already on it for a moment.

It was no secret that he didn't support anyone. To bad Kitty didn't run again, or he would of voted. Of well. She had said she was glad when her term was over. Without a moment more of thought. He signed his name to the paper.

Signed, with a flourish, in a very pink crayon it would appear:

Alexander Kratos

Another bite of his sandwich was taken as he skimmed over the various other bulletins for the day.

"Hm," Amthy strummed her finger to her lower lip before she pointed to a paper pinned to the board. "Wha's tha'un for?" She asked the silvery blonde haired woman beside her.

Cayt leaned forward around Amthy to give the paper a glance. "Someone is selling a furniture set."

"Does it say wha' it looks like?"

"You don't need it," Cayt asserted.

"Are you sure?" Amthy asked. "I do like furniture sets." Her lilting voice was earnest. A hint of greed wound its way into her tone.

"Absolutely."

"But I think--"

"Look at this one," Cayt pointed to another paper in an attempt to distract the Nymph. "It even has signatures on it, " Cayt said encouragingly.

"Oooh!" Amthy cooed with girlish excitement. "Wha're they for?" She asked Cayt. Her hands balled up and trembled just before her chin and her unblinking green eyes widened.

Caytlin ran her finger down the page, "The people of Rhy'Din propose...."

"I agree!" Amthy asserted as she thrust a finger upward pointedly.

"I haven't even finished," Cayt interjected.

"I agree!" Amthy cried out again, ignoring Cayt.

"But it's about the election," Cayt said to Amthy trying to impress the importance of the paper to her.

"Oh! I like a nice election. Remember tha' time I was Miss Rhy'Din two years in a row?" She gushed as she searched within that magical place that was her bodice until she found a crayon. "No't'mention 'm the cutest. Everyone says so." Her voice raised in pitch as giddiness took hold. "Do you think this color would look nice, or does it clash with the paper?" She asked Cayt before waving her off. Her tongue pushed out and up around her upper lip as she scribbled a little on the line and ended it with a flourish and flower to punctuate. "There!" She preened pleased as punch.

"Yes, you signed the paper. Now can we go? The girls will be out of class and I promised to take them riding." Before Amthy could get out a word of protest, Cayt seized Amthy's elbow and led her away from the bulletin.

Government cannot be trusted! Especially because Theron didn't make it into the election... What were you people thinking?

I haven't heard of half these candidates, and I don't trust the other half... so let's have none of them.

A smile at the note that was posted. Her father always said.. anyone who'd want the job obviously shouldn't get it when it came to politics.

Signing her name.

The wind mage was really just passing through on a whim when she saw the nice piece of parhment. She stopped and read over the words. Shea had been gone from Rhydin so long she had all but forgoten about the coming election. Kitty had done a good job with this city, what job she could do. Shea knew none of the canidates whom were running, this time around.

Then with a florish of magic she signed her name. Sometimes she did beileve in the fact the rhydin could be goverened by no one.

Mary had no real reason to support any of the current candidates. Thus as of yet she would go support the alternative. At least then the option would even be open to the people. Though she had had disagreements with Captain Kidd and Jewell in the past? She was with them on this one. So she signed her name to the petition in some of Anne's special ink.

Karadis had been away watching his children with Moonlyght, and he decided to see what was going on in town, he had seen the poster for no confidence in the vote of who was to be Governor of this retched city. It had seemed to Karadis, anyway, that the people of this place did not care for governance, except for the self. And thats how Karadis certainly wanted it, so he took out a vial of octopus ink and fine quill and signed his name to the document

Korrush Dragonclaw, now sole appearent leader of the M.N.R. came to the bulletin board and with a simple pen, given to him by Khaine, his dearest friend and ally, wrote his own name upon the petition for No Confidence.

Kalis came to the city, in guise of a simple old man, dressed in a long brown robe, and saw the petition for a No Confidence vote and laughed, he had heard about all the bad press Wolvie boy had gotten, seemed to have work he thought. The others he did not know, nor did he care, Kalis took his clawed finger and made a scorching mark of his name upon the petition.

She just soooo happened to walk by the bulletin when she spotted signatures on a peice of paper. She examined it and agreed! (Mostly because she was out of the runnings already!) Jade wiggled her nose and a lime green pen poofed into her hand. Thus, she signed in big fancy-pants lime green letters.

"Jadey Eli Ravenlock Rogue"

She smiled as she finished and skipped off!

Katerrina read over the notices as she did every day. She smirked as she read the petition. She had no love for beaurocracy. She reached into her belt for a pen and signed before moving on.

Theron

Date: 2008-01-26 08:08 EST
Theron was walking by the Board and was depressed at all of this chaotic infighting that had come due to the elections and and all this drama was not good for the soul of the city. He had tried his hand at it and was voted out of the runnings with ease. He would still fight the good fight for the people of this city from behind the scenes now, but this election could not continue this way. It was murdering the very thing he was trying to protect, and as much as he hated to do it, he signed his name as well.

Over the past few days of walking her babies about the city, Lain'd seen the cluster of people around the bulletin board, and it finally piqued her interest enough to change her path.

"No confidence..?" Not that she had a problem with Gov Kitty or anything, but she kind of agreed that this place was going down the toilet with or without an official figurehead. It was best not to waste their time.

Venom whined at her side as she searched her person for a pencil. She finally located one on the other side of the board tacked to a job notice sign, and yanking it off, quickly signed.

She tucked the pencil behind a pointy ear, shouldered through those around her and continued with her walk, the massive demon dog in tow.
