The signs were posted on the usual message and bulletin boards throughout the city, on plain white paper with black ink. The top half of the posting was dominated by a drawing of an oak tree on a grassy hill, with the words ?Woodwright Furnishings and Carpentry? written below the picture in larger, more ornate lettering. Below the image, written in neat block letters, was the following message:

Newly Reopened!
Quality furniture (and more) for homes, offices, and stores.
Reasonable rates without the long wait.
Now located at 55 Rue des Farfadets, Dragon's Gate District
Receive 10% off all sales with this flyer until February 18

Below the message and the drawing were a line of off-white business cards, attached to the bottom of the paper with thumbtacks. The largest words were the store's name, bold and at the top and center of the card. The left side of the card had Glenn's personal information: his full name, the word ?Owner,? and his address. The right side bore a shrunken version of the oak tree image that was in the center of the poster. It was clear that the business cards were meant to be removed from the poster and taken by interested customers.
