Glenn had spent most of the past two days traveling throughout the city, searching out outdoor bulletin boards, inns, taverns, bars, community centers, and anywhere else he could find. Upon getting permission from the proper people, he hung up his sign, using nails and thumbtacks, depending on the place. No matter the hanging method, the poster he used was the same. A sheet of plain, unlined white paper with perfect block handwriting and, in the center, a picture of an oak tree on a grassy hill. The words were centered on the page, and clearly legible to any who approached the posting.

Below the message and the drawing were a line of off-white business cards, attached to the bottom of the paper with thumbtacks. The largest words were the store's name, bold and at the top and center of the card. The left side of the card had his personal information: his name, the word ?Owner,? and his contact information. The right side bore a shrunken version of the oak tree image that was in the center of his poster. It was clear that the business cards were meant to be torn off of the poster and taken by interested customers.
