Her uncle came to take over guardianship of the estate and her, but before she could inherit, Dove was sold to a slave ring, where she was auctioned off each night to a new buyer. There she met Jessie, and together they escaped, spending almost seven years travelling from place to place to keep themselves safe. Now she is settled in RhyDin, working, healed and dating. Perhaps things will stay safe, for now.
