OOC Explanation of Global Play Opportunity.

Zansanette shares the birthing process of most reptiles in that she can choose to birth any number of 'types' based on previous matings. The choice of offspring remains hers. This allows for a variety of monstrous children to wreak havoc upon the denizens of RhyDin.

This SL is extremely open and available to all who would like to participate. Participation can include running your own mini-version of an encounter with one of her offspring, utilizing a monster for the villain in your own storyline, or participating in any number of available roleplay opportunities where I, Zan's, or Austorc's mun will willingly run an NPC'ed monster for general mayhem and destruction.

The purpose of these monsters are not to survive, successfully kill, or severely maim (unless that's your thing, than by all means more power to you) but to provide opportunities to test your characters against adversaries.

The Storyline remains very OPEN to the extent of the birthed creatures, should you wish to engage in the end-game: discovery of the source of the offspring, confrontation with Zansanette, etc, that becomes something else entirely and some OOC discussion may need to take place.

Most importantly: Have fun with it.

Or ignore it. Always a viable option.

If you write up a response, or wish to include your cleaned up chat log of an encounter, please link it here in this thread (that way others can follow along and icons can be dispersed accordingly).

I hope to see this SL progress throughout the summer months and am looking forward to the interaction!

Thank you! Happy RP!

Something Wicked this Way Comes
Part 1

There wasn't anything like a gigantic glass of pink lemonade after an entire day of soaking in the ridiculous heat of the sun's rays. Toby could still feel the warmth from the street on the soles of his bare feet as he finally vacated the drink stand he'd taken a spot under, a half full glass in his left hand. His mouth was pursed around the straw, sucking greedily as his eyes skimmed over the nearby couple at the fountain that he had last remembered being empty.

*Jingle jingle.* Tiny platinum bells braided into her long hair tinkled with every step, and matched the rest of the bits of jewelry she wore. Misty had had the idea for a nice walk, but wasn't so silly as to go without her gloves. They kinda clashed with the beige cargo capris and green tank top, but for her, they weren't just a fashion accessory. They were a necessity. But what's this? Fiora, and that handsome doctor, by the fountain! She waved, smiling brightly. ?Hiii!!?

Toby jumped, the loud greeting making his gaze skitter around to try and find the source. His path had brought him nearer and nearer to the fountain, but he seemed to be intent on passing it, never once ceasing the steady gulps of lemonade.

Fiora was in the process of sighing softly and teasingly flickering her tongue out to catch Euriya?s lips in a taunting little sweep, when his body language suddenly altered. Distracted from the stir of arousal by his concern she tilted her head back toward the fountain in confusion, the slide of her cerulean gaze catching sight of other Marketplace patrons. Just when she might've taken note of what stirred beneath the water her distraction was further guaranteed by jingling bells and a cheery Misty, "Oh hey!" She dimpled and waved excitedly in return.

In the water, the dark shape avoided the soft illumination of the moonlight, for now only a shadow that seemed ominously large as it idled beneath the innocent tinkling fall of the fountain.

?I didn't think I'd see you two out and about ... How've you been?? Misty looked quite different from the timid and scarred creature at the Auction. Her hair flowed long, her skin beneath the fur ran smooth and unscarred. Just a hint of haunting in her eyes, that's all that remained.

Euriya?s attention was divided between the newly arrived Kirn, the beautiful Fiora, and the movement that he was sure he saw in the fountain but suddenly seemed to be a figment of his imagination. The water seemed darker, but nothing out of the ordinary. Slowly he pulled his eyes away, dragging his gaze with the turn of his chin until physically impossible to maintain the stare any longer, and turned them upon Misty. He bowed his head slightly, a smile appearing. "Good evening."

?Dr. Shilo! You're a hard man to track down, I'll have you know!? She giggled, slipping off a glove to offer a hand to shake.

From over Misty's shoulder Fiora had noticed Toby leaving the vendor and she offered him a friendly nod in greeting, her own effervescence only brightening at the approach of the improved Kirn, "Misty ye look great." Never one to leave anything unsaid. Her back to the fountain she was oblivious to the dark shape that had drawn the attention of the psychiatrist. "I've been meanin to talk to ye about yer free month's stay at the Luks Condos."

Euriya?s fingers escaped their rest upon Fiora's hip to extend toward Misty?s offered hand. Engulfing it in a warm and soothing embrace, he gave a fluid shake. "I apologize. It seems busy can't even begin to explain what I've been."

So that was who the voice was from. Toby looked first to Misty, Shilo, then the smallest of the three, the shadow in the fountain slipping around in his peripheral vision. When he finally dropped his eyes, after a quick smile and lift of fingers to Fiora, the water looked..normal. Kind of.

Only the most watchful of eyes might take note of the snaking tendril that crept up over the edge of the fountain. Vinelike, the slickened appendage seemed adept at sticking close to the shadowy surface that might conceal its advancement.

?Oh yeah! I'd almost forgotten! What with all the school stuff going on ...? It seems she'd been made a board member, due to her living in Rhy'Din the longest. Yippee. But, she shook the doctor's hand, glancing down at the one piece of mis-matched jewelry in her ensemble. A golden two-piece armband that wrapped her bicep and just below her elbow, joined by two thin golden chains. ?Oh, I know busy. I really know busy.? The glove, and it's twin still on her left hand, clinked oddly when she moved. That's due to the plate on the back, covering the mish-mash of gemstones and circuitry making up its mystical workings. But the tail on her fur began to rise, and she couldn't quite figure out why ...

With his back to the fountain, Euriya missed the seeping, liquid lash?
...though, he couldn't leave it alone. He glanced back at the fountain, missing the creeping vine of water due to the angle in which he observed. Still, there was just something dark about the fountain that wasn't there when they arrived. Instinctively, his hold around Fiora's waist became tighter, a firm grip beyond realization, as he studied the pouring length a bit longer.

Toby blinked, coming to a stop, the fountain between him and the gathered trio. His mismatched eyes narrowed on the place where he thought he'd seen something, again, but he wasn't willing to look away this time. A brief glance up caught Shilo's lowered gaze too. He felt better, only a little, that he wasn't the only one that was seeing things.

?So, what's got you two out and about tonight?? She almost mentioned the appointment she'd tried to schedule, but after everything else that's happened, she couldn't really claim to be the same Kirn who'd called his receptionist in such desperation.

Gliding over the edge of the fountain, it almost resembled a serpent as it crawled along the cobblestoned passage to circle innocuously around the ankle of one pressed pant leg of the esteemed Dr. Shilo. Simultaneously another slime-slick appendage made its way up over the fountain's edge to attempt a similar lasso around the little realtor's slender high heeled foot. Carefully it kept the loops wide enough to avoid actually touching either of its intended victims. But as the delicious thrum of more heartbeats neared, it grew eager, the dark shape gliding closer to the surface of water as two more tentacles breached the surface, searching for the hosts.

"We just watched Wicked, have ye seen it yet? It's fantabulous! Seriously I couldn't get over the songs and the costumes and the story was simply magnificent," Fiora was oblivious to the tension in the group, her usual mode of operandus.

Misty's question drew his attention away from the fountain. "Wicked." Euriya answered simultaneously with a smile. "Fiora's never seen it and with the Shanachie performing it we just couldn't pass it up."

The rising fur reached the back of her neck, and she glanced around, kitty-slit eyes widening in the dark. Almost out of reflex, she started to slip her bare hand back into the fingerless glove. ?No ... I haven't ..? She trailed off, obviously distracted.

"I loved it! I totally loved it! Even if Elphaba was green." Fiora blithely continued on and wrinkled her nose, "I might be a bit biased cuz the only green person I've ever met was a real ass." The chattering weaved in and out of Euriya's explanation.

?What's it about?? Misty tried to keep her attention focused on the conversation, she really did. But that itch of raised fur, it kept tugging her away.

Euriya pulled his hand back and again lowered it to Fiora's hip. He nearly looked back again, though the arrival of Toby across the way kept him there. He'd seen the man before, in the Inn a time or two, and noticed the nod Fiora gave him. That didn't surprise him. She seemed to know pretty much everyone. "Have you seen it yet?" Asked to Misty. Still his arms encircled Fiora, a nearly protective stance that kept her slight frame pinned to his chest.

Across the way a lone figure made his way down a familiar path. Jake was careful to have hitched up Gus on the other side of the market before "accidentally" wandering by the Bon Bon and checking the door just in case Katt or someone else was about to sneak him another apple pie.

(s)"*Geez*.." Toby?s eyes widened. He hadn't blinked, or looked away, except for that single, half second of time. He knew he couldn't be that blind. (s)"What is that.." He lowered the lemonade from his mouth, his lips pursed into a thoughtful frown. It could've been a weird snake..was it coming from that weird shadow he thought he'd seen..? He stepped close to the fountain, leaning down to see, his free hand pressed flat to the ledge.

?Nuh uh ...? Misty continued the conversation as she glanced left, then right, but not down or behind. But the feeling of unease just kept on growing by the second. ?Ummmm ... do you two hear something??

Something Wicked this Way Comes
Part 2

The emergence of the second and third tentacle was nowhere near as stealthy, the creature sensing perhaps an awareness in Toby that threatened its easy meal. With a whistling lash of a projectile moving through the air, they shot forward in a blatant attempt to ensnare him, the original tentacles suddenly zipping tight like a noose as they sought to entangle the doctor and his date. Rising up out of the water the slug like creature opened its gaping circular maw in a threatening manner, directly
across from Misty. Egg white eyes, pupil-less but shockingly direct as it emitted a weirdly vibrating roar of hungry intent.

*Shriiiiiiiiiek!* ?Omigod!!!? Misty jumped back, her tail whipping around to try and catch the doctor and Fiora, to pull them out of immediate danger.

"Perhaps some time we can-ARCK!" The tangle around his legs caused him to tumble, that hold he had around Fiora turning so that he landed more on his back, breaking her fall with his body. Frantic, Euriya looked to see what had him and then followed its length back to where it emerged from the fountain. "I knew it!" Always one to confirm his deductions.

With a hiss, Misty slammed a fist into her palm, causing tiny lines of light to glow on her gloves as she brought the imbued magic within them to bear, then dropping into a half-crouch, ready to spring to her friend's defense.

Turning quickly at the commotion by the fountain Jake rushed over to offer whatever assistance he could.

"Ngh!!" Toby?s sudden shove back from the fountain was halted by the thick, slippery tendril now strangling his upper body. He dropped his lemonade, his hands failing to get a good enough hold to even try and use his own strength to rip himself free. His eyes, flashing gold with thin slits for pupils shot up at the emerging creature, widening with a quick but obvious display of disgust and fear.

Kicking with his free foot, Euriya sought to bash the encircled tentacle in hopes of prying it loose of its hold. Taking Fiora by the hips, he pushed her upward, away from the creature and toward Misty who was positioned closer to his head. He was prone, though still square enough to gain some leverage with his stomping.

Fiora screamed. It was high pitched and girlish and she wasn't about to feel any shame in that, as the world suddenly tilted through alternating jerks. She was yanked off her feet by a tentacle, spun by a psychiatrist and grabbed by a cat's tail, all in the amount of time it took for her to say, "WHAT in the hell?!"

Misty?s tail pulled back, hopefully bringing Fiora out of harm's reach, just before she pounced, aiming a glowing fist at the length of tentacle between the fountain and Euriya's ankle.

The tentacles possessed tiny suckers that oozed a clear gel of paralytic fluid. Sadly should it touch bare skin it was a fast acting agent, repelled for the moment by the slacks of the Shilo and the shirt of Toby, Fiora's nylons did little to disabuse it of its purpose. As the realtor was pulled free from its grasp it tightened greedily around Euriya's prone form and tried to drag him toward the hungry mouth that awaited. The magical might of Misty's punch enough to encourage it to let go after a few feet.

As Misty was helping Fiora and Euriya, Jake grabbed for Toby's arm to try and pull him back away from the...fountain squid? While pulling his knife with his free hand.

With the strength of an octupi it struggled against Toby's grasp, the ululating watery growl growing more frantic as it grew eagerly excited at the idea of its first real meal.

Euriya considered drawing his katana, except he wasn't a samurai. He then thought that he might cast a spell, but he wasn't a wizard. He then realized that unless the monster had some deeply imbedded father issues or battled OCD or depression, as a psychiatrist he was virtually useless. With lavish Italian loafers leading the way, he kicked, and kicked well. Oh, and with a palm on the taut curve of Fiora's energetic ass, he shoved her away from the grasping tentacle.

(s)"Sh*t.." Toby palmed at his back for the dagger he kept hidden. His focus went haywire when Jake grabbed his arm, but it didn't stop him from slicing at the tendril with an arc of his arm swiftly enough to whistle and create an afterimage in its wake.

She wasn't afraid to get dirty. She wasn't afraid to squirm with ungraceful unladylike motions, as her body became assaulted with a heavy sense of lassitude she continued to wiggle. Using the momentum of Misty's reaction and Euriya's...going for the feel, really?...quick thinking push, she rolled some distance. Attempting to sit up as the fall of her russet curls spilled from the tidy upsweep she'd kept them contained in.

Thrusting down with his knife at the tentacle, with a swift rip in an attempt to slice it off....Jake hoped that all those years of castrating calves was about to pay off.

It was young. Newly hatched. Unused to opposition as its meals had been birds and the curious squirrel. Almost pathetically it reared back away from all of the explosions of pain, the magic of Misty's gloves muted as it did exhibit some magical resistance to the blow. The slice of Toby's dagger was wicked fast and the first tentacle fell to the ground, writhing as it lashed about near the prone Euriya even as Jake's own knife sunk deep into the remaining binding tentacle, biting into the chunk of flesh and causing it to fully release the lemonade drinking young man. Furiously the tentacles shot back toward the slug like body for the moment, gathering for the attack. An observant eye might note that the body of the creature was oddly contorting, heaving really as if it were working something up from its belly.

Now, luckily for Euriya he was completely narcissistic and was in impeccable shape that far exceeded the range of even the most fit professional athlete, so when the punch Misty delivered freed up his ankle for even a moment, he snapped his body away from the monster and rolled back along his shoulders and up onto his feet. And no, he wasn't going for the cheap feel. He didn't have to with Miss Shantalaine. "I really wish I was a werewolf or some dragon/demon hybrid, but unfortunately I'm not, and can't simulate their same sort of fire power." As the severed tentacle fell nearby he took a few steps back.

Leaving a smoking hole in the ground from her punch, Misty stood in between the monster and the two play-goers, her fists held up. ?You two! Run! Get help!?

"Vomit." Euriya deduced. "The thing is about to throw up." He took Misty's advice and clung splayed fingers in Fiora's. "Run!" He turned and dashed away, though not too fast as to jerk her along. She was an acrobat in a former life and he was pretty sure she'd have no problem keeping up.

"H-help..right." She nodded at the good advice, or meant to nod, but everything kind of swam in a hazy swarm before her eyes and she wasn't sure if she'd actually nodded or not. No way in hell was she simply going to play the damsel in distress however and she pushed to her feet, limbs she really couldn't feel, fairly certain she hadn't been this stoned since...wait...she'd never been this stoned.

Misty cussed a little under her breath, a white nimbus of light forming around her fur as she brought up more magic to help fight this nasty critter.
Toby shoved, writhed and slashed at the remaining tendril until he felt its hold on him loosen enough for him to jump free?thanks in part to Jake?s own diligence with the dagger?straight up into the air with an absurdly strong leap.

Euriya blinked as she struggled just to move forward, turning back to examine the paralytic form of her lower limbs. "Fiora? What's wrong?" Unaware of the secreting agent thanks to his slacks (Armani, in case anyone is wondering).

Jake?s hold on Toby released just in time as he began to back away from the fountain. ?What the hell is that thing??

The doctor was right in his consensus, despite its alien body it was very much resembling a creature about to puke and from its gullet it emitted a stream of noxious slimy ooze, resembling the paralytic gel that its suckered tentacles had previously emitted. It attempted to coat the entire area with it and of course anybody that it could hit.

*Armani armor! Go Doctor!* Misty kept her eyes on the creature, a shimmering field rising up from the ground to catch the splatter.

Her legs felt like jello and she stumbled after Euriya, "We should get the Watch," Fiora managed to say around her tongue, which felt two sizes too big. Hell, her face felt numb.

Run, the answer to every situation was to run. Somehow Jake was still getting the answer wrong, and now by simply taking a step or two backwards he found himself with a nice glob of squid puke..

Misty glanced back over her shoulder, keeping the shield up with an outstretched hand. ?You have to go! I can't hold this thing forever!?

As a doctor, he'd seen the effects of paralytic agents plenty of times, and recognized them there. With the shield Misty produced Euriya was safe from the spew, and took advantage of that by scooping Fiora up into his arms and starting off. Cradling her, he made his way along the path toward one of the alleyways he knew led to the Plaza. In his office he had plenty of counter-agents that could reverse a plethora of paralytics. "Try not to talk, Fiora." He suggested, though knew this would be a feat of epic proportion.

Flurple. And yes, that's what she did as she was attempting to feel her tongue and not in response to such an uncharitable thought about her. But, she'd recognize his path and she'd put up a struggle after but a few feet, "Nope! We'vegottogettothewatch!"

Toby felt the overwhelming urge to do something swell in his chest like a giant balloon. He had power, he was learning how to use it. He could help. The thought surprised him. He didn't know any of these people. He merely recognized three of them, but even then that was in passing. His feet touched down on the fountain's ledge, his arms crossing in front of him to take the brunt of whatever the creature had been spewing. He felt the ooze all over him, hard jerks of his arms trying to get it off. As his golden his narrowed to slits, it felt like he was fighting to see through a fog, his ooze covered arms tingling like they were falling asleep. His knees locked up. Was it this gross stuff clinging to him that was doing it..? His hand tightened hard on the dagger he was holding, a wavering but murderous glare shot up to the creature.

Fresh off the job. Sure, it was late for a girl dressed in a maid's uniform to be just getting off of work, but her boss felt it necessary she stay behind and tend to the garbage takeout and table cleaning. May was the probie. They had this in the works for her. She rounded a corner, entering the heart of the Market District, the, at first, vague sounds of calling and sloshing becoming more and more apparent the closer she drew; laced up, ebony heeled boots snapping an unsteady rhythm along the cobblestone. As the distance between she and the audible noise was closed in on, so was her ability to gather understanding. A bag held loosely in one hand slithered from her grasp as she took in what was transpiring at the fountain.

Euriya knew that she wouldn't stop until she got her way, and with the way her body was responding in such a gelatinous way, it was getting hard to keep he contained in the comfort of his arms. "Fine," He said. "But I have to get my phone." He tried a few times to fish the device from his pocket, though struggled to keep her aloft, and finally resorted to draping her over his shoulder. With his left arm curled around the backs of her thighs, his right hand delved inside his pocket and produced his Blackberry.

Something Wicked this Way Comes
Part 3

Oh, did Misty ever wish she'd brought a gun, or something ... her eyes narrowed as she watched the sluggy thing through the dripping slime on her shield. Ew. So lot ew. She'd never take sneezing for granted again.

Jake staggered back after getting vomited on, landing square on his butt, his face frozen under the vomit in a permanent state of shock.

It wasted no time, assuming that its prey was paralyzed it sent its tentacles lashing outward to grasp at those still standing, the hungry gnashing of its circular lamprey mouth growing closer as it pulled its slug like body up onto the ledge of the fountain. Jake's stagger was perfectly timed as the first tentacle lashed over his suddenly seated form, another tentacle slamming against Misty's shield.

Misty kept her shield up in the path of the lashing tentacles, waiting for the right moment to drop the protection and hit the nasty creature again! *That white nimbus of light surrounding her was getting awfully warm ... *

Fiora was never going to live this down. In fact, it was killing her to be carried out over Shilo's shoulder as the others stood against the Fountain Creature. Later when the story was told she'd hoped that in the heat of the battle they might have all overlooked this part of it and she could instead crow about she and Shilo got help.

Toby felt it around his waist this time, his brain too slow in telling his legs to jump a second time. He mentally shoved at the yoki he knew was thrumming through his system, the weak and wildly off course slices of his arm becoming stronger the more he let go. His vision began to sharpen even through the streaks of goop on his face.

Mayu was out of the spotlight, where swaths of color sliced over and beyond her person; keeping her well concealed for the present moment. Stealth was not the Asian's forte. Her right arm extended before her, a shallow breath falling from her lips. She wasn't instructed on how to call upon the powers the Order bestowed her, but an emergency was an emergency, was it not? A fissure of neon green pierced the abyss of night, spindles of color coursing the exposure of veins in her arm and bringing into existence the silhouette of the girl. "Remnants..." she instructed the power within, feeling a vigorous burn in her chest. The light snuffed out, a wince following. The patters of her heart slowed, her attempt failed. She fell to one knee, her shallow breath hollow and without strength. So much for that idea. She glanced up to the strange creature and those it were engaged with. For now, that was her best option.

"Good evening, officer, my name is Dr. Euriya Shilo and I am at the corner of Venom Avenue and Panther Way. There seems to be a rather vicious monster emerging from the main fountain and I was hoping that perhaps you could assist in its removal?" He paused and then sighed. "Of course I'll hold." He turned back, whipping Fiora around with him, to watch from a distance as the others battled the creature. "Yes, I'm still here. No, I'm not hurt. What? No, I wasn't able to get a name. It's a monster. Yes, a monster." He paused again, squinting at the creature. "Big. Green. Tentacles. Vomit." He blinked, tilting his head. "Like broccoli soup. I believe it is a paralytic." He paused, and sighed again. "Sure, I'll hold."

"Yes. Good." He nodded. "Thank you." He then flipped the phone closed. "There, the watch is on its way."

Toby's wild slashes were effective in slicing through several of the tentacles and the creature hissed its displeasure. It obviously lacked any other kind of attack as it was made to paralyze and draw its victims to its vicious mouth and could not bite at him until it drew closer. A problem it was attempting to fix in its sluggish forward progress. Though the heat from Misty's shield seemed to give it pause, the tentacles quickly retreating from her.

?Did they say how long?!?? Misty spotted the retreating tentacles and took that for a sign, dropping the shield and releasing a fan-tail of white spear-like rays, spreading out from her and arcing inward, aimed at the monster.

The small amount of paralyzing fluid that had weakened her legs seemed to be working its way through her system and Fiora was squirming for a vantage point, the thickness of her tongue still felt even as she shouted encouragement, "Look out!" Cuz that is always helpful advice during a battle.

Euriya turned so that Fiora could see what was going on, if for no other reason than to get her to stop squirming. Realizing that Misty was asking him, he answered. "No." Simply. "But I can't imagine it will be that long."

Mayu teetered on one leg, shoving weight into the supportive thigh to rise once more. The trickles of neon color flowed and ebbed within her veins when glancing to examine her ability at recalling the gifted power. It wasn't synchronized, nor prepared to be drawn on. She returned her wavering gaze to the small crowd; amongst it, the cut of ginger dazzling her mind. Was that who she thought it was? Belongings left strewn, she pushed off to catch up, only a small limp to her step an obstacle.

Toby shoved a second time at whatever was left of the tendril that had ensnared him as he staggered forward. One of his feet skidded into the fountain, causing a great splash and a grunt of frustration from him. He felt like his body was taking too long to wake up. But the more yoki he forced out, the better it got.. Pure white color licked at his tan skin from under the sleeves of his shirt. He clasped his dagger in both hands, lunged forward and swung his arms out like he was a batter at home plate, the gleaming tip of the dagger on a course for the blob of what he guessed was the creature's actual body.

The blast of hot light from Misty seared its flesh and the putrid smell of cooked meat exploded in the air in nauseating waves. Obviously sensitive to such things it shrieked its agony as it pulled back and away from the attack with no hint of grace, slow and ponderous it was an easy target for the fast paced blow of the ginger haired man. The dagger sunk deep, like cutting into blubber, sinking through flesh and plunging into its internal tract. Blood, thick and ichorous oozed forth, mixed with clear gel of its paralytic fluids. With a SPLASH! it slammed back into the fountain it had emerged from, the spastic quivering of its tentacles lashing the air in what could only be described as frantic death throes.

When it seemingly fell, Mayu managed to grow close enough, chopped oceanic green swaying in self-guided momentum. She knew not to break somebody's concentration when they were locked in a battle with something that was spit straight out of a horror movie back home. She knew not to call out for him. She knew the hazards those damn women were when shrieking the name of the one that they recognized most... She, unfortunately, was one of those. "Toby!" she shouted between the cupping of hands over to him.

Toby?s face twisted in surprise. He hadn't thought that would work. The white light that had shot from Misty must have distracted it, or something. He tumbled down into the fountain on his knees, turning the dagger clutched tight in his hands like an auger, his gaze intent on the thing he was crouched over. Until his heart seized tight in his chest at the sound of his name. He whipped around, his golden gaze wide. "May..?! What--stay back there..!"

She'd stand like she'd just somehow called in the calvary. Small Asian girls like her always somehow managed to look cool like that. She didn't abide by his wish, closing in on him, hands flaking with the Remnants residue weaving around his person frantically. A lot of good flailing did. "W-What the heck's going on?"

Misty took a couple steps back, the gloves still glowing, keeping her eyes on the crispy creature. Never assume it's dead, not until you roast it to ashes. Something she can't do while there's someone nearby and it's in the fountain, of course. ?You've never called the Watch before, have you??

Cue the watch.

They arrived like a phalanx of irony, armed and ready to fight now that the threat had been defeated.

Wide cerulean eyes were locked on the scene before her as she cheered the arrival of the Watch. Who dutifully rushed forward to take control of the situation.

((And so ends one of Zan's babies. Thank you everybody for the phenom play! I love unplanned free-form!))
