Due to the amount of storylines taking place and fantastic interactions I think it might be wise to keep track of them somewhere.

This thread will serve as an overview for storylines and their connections. It will also serve as a brief repository for gratitude toward those that have assisted in progressing current SL's.

Roping the Winds

Satariel Shah initially chanced upon the Legacy in one of her traditional searches of the realm. His position as a local Kingpin figure of the underground allowed their partnership to prosper. As he tightened his hold on crime with the advent of the new Government, his Winds set about on their usual spree. Covered beautifully by our intrepid reporter, Darien Fenner, in this article.

Background: Legacy is a child of the streets of RhyDin. A gangster in every sense of the word he operates under his own version of a code of honor. In one of the odd twists found in RhyDin, he was able to harness the power of the fading four winds of a fallen world. Choosing four recipients to host these powers he controls them as Master of the Winds, releasing the addictive power upon them when he needs certain tasks completed.

The Winds (The East Wind, The West Wind, The South Wind, The North Wind) serve the Legacy out of a myriad of reasons indicative of their own twisted psyches. They live, work, and play within the city of RhyDin awaiting the call of the Legacy: Coldblooded Killers all.

The Winds are interspersed amongst RhyDin and can be found in several locales. Their actual homes vary, but for now The West Wind posts primarily in the Marketplace under A Warning on the Wind; while The North Wind's thread in the Marketplace is called Gale Force Wind;The South Wind at her place of business in Shambles Way Clinic; The East Wind and The West Wind at Shanachie Theaters on the Zen Gardens Boards, or here on the Shaitan Boards.

The Lightbringers: De Montesquieu

One of the original realms to be invaded by the Shaitan Covenant, home to a race of Nephalim, the fallen angels fought hard against the intrigue and violence the Shaitan thrived upon.

Their once beautiful world is now rendered virtually uninhabitable: acid rains fall with no warning and the sky remains a sickly pallor that shuns any real light. The wars created and fostered by the seduction and intrigue of Aolani Malvlasta and fed by the birthing of monsters by Zansanette and their subsequent mobilization by Uhragrar have destroyed most of civilization.

Having lost one of their sacred number to the Leoline's ability as Lightbringer, the Shaitan retaliated with a brutal efficiency that brooked no chance of survival for the people of their world. Believing in their success, having discovered the shard found upon their realm, the Shaitan abandoned the savaged world for another.

But Leoline and his people were not finished. And as they built refugee gates off world, they traveled in search of a hospitable realm to contain them. Unbeknownst to the Lady Meleigh (newly married to Leoline), her husband and his trusted companions were actually searching for the Shaitan. Vengeance a portion of their desire, but moreso than that, the loss of Leoline's sister Fawne to the sovereignty of Aolani spurred the du Montesquieu people to follow the Shaitan to the world of RhyDin.

Since their arrival, Lady Meleigh has become the leader of the people, fostering hope and laying the foundation of a new world. She oversees the building of a refuge for the people of their torn lands and has found herself shouldering much of the burdens with the disappearances of both Leoline and Lachlan.

Held by the Unseelie, Leoline and Lachlan have engaged new enemies through shades of old ones, while Sevier Bane works his magic upon the young bride who remains unprotected but for a veteran warrior (Dragidar) whose attention is torn between his responsibilities to his people and to the weakened shell of his once powerful wife (Hadrian). Who even now is being stalked by one of their forsworn enemies. (Shieyu).

The Unseelie, led by Morgue La Faye , are in search of Aolani, her power brought to their attention by an unfortunate pact.

The Sinful Zealots

Used by the Shaitan to provide infiltration and advancement of secretive plots. This adult oriented, (read very mature) storyline has had many incarnations that veer toward straight erotica.

Whether you're following the seduction of the married school teacher, Parisa in A Zealot Made: Raindrops and Schoolyards, or the accidental interference of the tortured Cameo in A Zealot Made: Pearls of Miscommunication, or the ongoing seduction of the Astrologist Tasha Van Blaudin in Starless Nights be aware that the content is toe-curlingly heated.

Whether the storyline results in the surrender of the Chosen, as one can see, relies upon the direction of the writers involved. With the continued seductions of the Carnal Prince running rampant, the Chosen Zealot SL remains a decadent guilty pleasure.
