What's your character thankful for?

If one were to ask Quillyan directly, he or she would get a ridiculously long list, babbled stream-of-conscious, of probably everyone and everything she could think of, or see, at the moment. Socially, she doesn?t dwell deeply or ponder long-term; although privately, she does have a more nuanced world view, which she will not share openly out of (gasp!) self-consciousness.

But back to the answer - she adores receiving affection and knows the best way to get affection is to give affection, so she?ll be thankful for everyone. Every now and then, someone will get under her skin, and the pendulum will swing in the other direction - she can hate just as enthusiastically as she loves.

Here are some top ?thankful-fors? of the moment:

- The IAP. Quilly?d be S.O.L. if she hadn?t been accepted.

- Her roommate! Albion is super-nice and smart and helps her with her schoolwork. He?s also a pretty good kisser.

- Vliss?s and her awesome parties - she loves bragging to other novices about socializing with illustrious upperclassmen.

- Xera. Who wouldn?t be thankful for Xera? She?s f?in hilarious.

- The Orphanage project, because it allows her some fun and guilt-free time away from studying and classes.

- Speaking of classes, she?s very thankful that she hasn?t ended up in one of Brais?s classes. Yet.

Satariel is thankful for her Sanity.

She is well aware how close she came to splintering beneath the weight of all of the 'essences' she has claimed. For that she will be eternally thankful to Drakul Lothcar.

The Covenant gives her purpose and direction and remain something to be thankful for.

Other:

RhyDin as it has, by far, proven to be the most outrageously perfect location for their plans.

The Institute as she has discovered through it a very rare interest in the real world outside of her constructed realities.

Albion is thankful for friends: As a somewhat overly enthusiastic student, Albion has been known to weight down a party with inquiries about the resolution of archaic formula while everyone else is looking for a partner to take body shots off of. Tiatari Blayne, Uziya, Xera, Ivinia and Quinnon were the first ones to take a liking to him in his novitiate year and offer a smidgen of acceptance to one who needed that sort of approval.

He is thankful for the Institute of Arcane Principle and all of its teachers, but most notably he enjoys Zhennavieve LaCroix, Natolii Tanner, Fleur Rousseau and Brais Galician. They seem to the ones who truly challenge him.

He is thankful for fate. By the luck of the draw he wound up with a fascinating new roommate who he is really enjoying getting to know. He has always been known as a helping hand, especially when it came to assisting with mage craft, though with her he has found a real joy in showing her the ropes. Oh, and he likes kissing her too...always a bonus.

Fleur is thankful for Strength. And for learning the most important lesson in life: Not to let other's opinions of you change who you are.

She is incredibly thankful that the Institute allowed her to return after her year long absence so that she can finish her studies (and equally thankful that the majority of students in her graduating class are all gone).

She's thankful for Blizzard being forthright enough to get past her icy exterior and Brais for being an incredibly intriguing and supportive roommate.

She is most thankful for the chance to prove herself once again and is determined to succeed in the upcoming challenges.

The Twins are thankful for their friends & family...
