Rishi stepped out of the Temple and walked across the grass of the Compound lost in her own thoughts, passing the guards and then turned left up the street towards the city. She was headed for the dreaded West End of RhyDin where the filth hung out. At least filth named Verash, a Khyrolii who was going to die.
She passed through the city gates unmolested and then turned left yet again to the west and made her way through the teeming streets, the sun was bright overhead and wispy clouds were carried on a light breeze. The closer she got to the area her hunt would take place the more salt water would assail her nostrils and warn her of the bay.
She turned into a dirty, dingy, and decrepit hole in the wall that served rot gut drinks to dock workers only stopping at the bar and waited while the bartender looked her up and down. Finally he came over to take her drink order but she had no intention of poisoning herself.
"What do you want?" It sounded like to drink but she knew better and so did the bartender.
"Verash." She threw in and his eyes never flickered. It didn't matter to someone who could read minds though. She wasn't part of the Jedi Order who would respect his privacy, she was already inside his mind before she asked the question.
The room had gone still, there were only six men in this room with her, six men who looked like they would eat her for lunch and who watched her carefully, wondering what she had under the cloak, both in weapons and in body. She turned to the man the bartender thought of when she said the name, he was sitting with two other men and they tensed as she walked over to them. "What do you want? Here to have some fun?" The man asked, covering up his nervousness, his two buddies laughed, one reaching over to look under her cloak.
"Verash." She repeated the process and got her answer just in time as the man on her right snaked his hand under the cloak and groped her ass, he squeeze hard and then laughed at his friends who cheered him on by laughing loudly. Without showing her anger she smashed down on top of the man's head, the blow striking him behind the ear and down he went, unable to sit in his chair.
The man to her left was already on his feet with a dagger in his hand but before he could lunge for her the telltale hum of her saber was audible and the man staggered back, the darkness of the room tinged now with the red of the blade. Rishi placed the blade just above the man's shoulder and waited patiently. "Verash."
"I am not telling you..." He never finished, his curse turning to a scream as she dropped the blade and along with it the man's left arm. She didn't need the answer, this was play time. The man fell back screaming as he clutched his burnt stub, he would not die of blood loss the blade had closed the wound.
She suddenly ignored him and turned to the man who had grabbed her ass. He was shaking his head and getting to his feet, trying to come to terms with the blow she had given him. She didn't have super strength like others she knew, but she was training in hand to hand combat, she had hit him right where his balance would be effected. As soon as he got to his feet she flicked her wrist, bringing the saber humming up in a straight arc and the man's hand, the one that had touched her, fell to the floor.
I man went back to his knees, adding his voice to his friend's. Rishi stood there for a bit and felt him suffer before turning her attention back to the man who held all the knowledge. "Verash." She said and advanced on him. The man tried to get to his feet to escape her but she didn't hesitate, she cut the man diagonally and turned before his body parts could hit the floor. She had what she needed.
She walked back to the grabber but he saw her coming and ran for the door, intent on saving himself. She reached out a hand and he stopped rigidly. She walked up to him one arm out to hold him in place using the Force, the other on her saber, still alive in her hands.
"You grabbed me in a familiar way. I think it is only fair I get to know you in a familiar way. You did it your way, and I hope you enjoyed it, I am going to do it my way and I hope I enjoy myself too." She said and kicked a chair out of her way so that nothing stood around them, they were alone in the middle of the room. She looked him over and sized him up, like a meal or a plaything. Yes....like a plaything. She brought the saber up so it hummed in the silence.
"I am going to start at your feet and we'll work our way up to the top."
