Hex had been tending to both the Legion and the Association while Brutin was offworld. Combine this with research into the problem with The Chaotic, building a new arm for Ammy, and trying to decide how to deal with Verishia and it could be understood that Hex was a busy machine.

Still, machines rarely complained, right?

Tonight Hex was working in the lab, putting on the finishing touches to Ammy's new arm, preparing the nanobath for decanting so Hex could deliver and install it tomorrow. As the final liquids drained off the silver limb, Hex's sensors detected the shuttle's approach. Brutin had returned.
A fragment of the machine's mind spun off into the datalinks Hex had installed throughout the compound, connecting with the shuttle's onboard computer, and capturing all the sensor logs from the time Brutin left till the present.

In those logs, Hex witnessed the fight between Jerrod and Verishia, and it's eventual conclusion. So Brutin had chosen to accept Verishia, so be it. Hex had wanted to avoid any hostility with Verishia in the first place, but had been unable to convey this to the Sith woman. Perhaps now she would hear Hex's true words.

Before Hex's fragment personality rejoined the whole, the digital avatar sped over to the computer terminal in Verishia's quarters. There was deposited a program that would display a message when the room's sensors detected Verishia awakened the next morning. The message was simple:

~Verishia, welcome home. When you are available, please come find me. We have much to discuss. - Hex~
