This is an ongoing list of rules for play with the SA.
1) We are roleplaying, not socializing. We are here to let the characters live and write up stories about them.
2) Anyone can interact with us and without permission. If you wish to play just jump in. OOC should take no part whatsoever in play with us except confirmation of scenes or situations.
3) Anyone is free to write their story on the board in any manner they choose. It is not for the SA hierarchy to tell you if you are a good writer or not. If you interact with the SA and you want to write about something outside of the SA then you are still free to write here, this is about story telling, tell us about yours.
4) Everyone is given a chance until they breach a rule. If you do you will be removed from the situation immediately to preserve the story. It does not end there, and you are not necessarily permanently removed, just isolated so you cannot disrupt others and their play. Childish temper tantrums will not be tolerated. If you are removed, discuss it and resolve the problem.
5) There is a mythical device called the IC/OOC barrier. It is in place at all times. Do not breach it. If you enjoy breaching it there are other places for you to play. This means the Player and Character are two separate people, the player should have nothing to do with the Character.
6) The Association is just that, an association. The Characters as well as the players.
7) Power Gaming and God Moding will not be tolerated. Power Gaming is when a Player influences others' Characters to create a specific event or result. God Moding is when the Player influences their own character to create a specific event or result. Both of these breach the barrier. Bad.
8 ) Maturity is expected at all times, whether you are 13 or 72. Chances are if you are being immature you aren't roleplaying. Say hello to the street for us.
9) The Shaved Kurii is in a small portion of the marketplace. While you can pretty much do what you please in the Marketplace if you enter the Kurii play by the rules or we will ridicule you as we toss you outside.
10) We are free form RPers. This has many meanings but the real one is that you give up rigid rules and allow the story to unfold. If you still don't understand what this is, ask us or Kairee.
