The tall Elf strolled through the market place, not quite aware of where he was. He really had been gone so long, that he really felt out of sorts being near so many people. Sometimes, such as this, he pondered changing his appearance. he had worn the guise of this particular Elf for almost a thousand years now, and he sometimes felt a little bored with his appearance. He was supposed to be looking or someone willing to carry a child and be a surrogate mother, but most of the women he knew were long gone, dead, or just forgotten.

Wandering past the Kurii, he paused for a moment, debating whether or not he should go in. There seemed to be quite a crowd inside. He just stared for a moment longer, the continued on his way. He could always assume the form of a female and carry the child himself. he had made the offer to Brutin, who didn't seem so sure that he was telling the truth when he informed Brutin that he assumed fully functional forms, even when switching sexes.

He found a place to sit outside, not necessarily wanting to be alone, but rather just wanting to think. How much had he forgotten during his hibernation? There were some he would never forget, even if they had new names. What was up with that? But others, he had already seen people that he had forgotten until he saw them, and then it took a little reminding to jog his memory.

Maybe he was just getting too old. Too old to try to maintain life among the humanoids. Perhaps he should fly back to his castle and sleep on his hoard like most stereotypical dragons. Again, he looked in one of the windows, catching snippets of motion and activity from those within, but for the time being, he just sat outside and thought.
