Snipped from a December 23, 2007 paper. This was Bellora's entrance into Rhy'Din

Two men were found this morning, near death. The gruesome sight found? The two men had been flayed alive. Each man was hung from a large wheel, inscribed with the words, ?Everything comes full circle.? Each man?s epidermal layers, as well as subcutaneous layers of fat had been removed with what appears to be surgical precision.

Oddly, the men were hooked up to I.V.?s, and where still alive upon discovery. Upon testing, it turns out the intravenous fluids with which both men were being liberally pumped with was broad-spectrum antibiotics as well as a saline solution. It is thought their attacker wanted them to stay hydrated and ward off infection, probably ensuring they lived longer, and hence, suffered more. One gentleman had expired by the time he was gently cut down, but the other was mumbling, as best he could, that he was sorry. He, too, expired from his wounds as he was being transported for medical treatment.

It is impossible to identify either man, since all identifying features had been removed. Investigators did find, however, several photographs of Miss Lilith Danu among what is thought to be the men?s clothing. She was being bound and molested in the photographs. Were these the men who attacked the young Fairy? Is there a new vigilante in town? Only time will tell!

January 11, 2008 news clipping. A Watch report regarding the death of a toddler is attatched, including the conclusive autopsy report that the child was indeed murdered. The young Mother was known to have been the killer, but the overworked Watch was unable to make the charges stick.

A young woman was discovered last night in her small rented room in the West End. She had been skinned of all epidermal and subcutaneous fat layers, yet was still alive! She, like several men found weeks before, was being kept alive via intravenous fluids and antibiotics. The grisely scene was found after Rhydin Watch had been called in, following up on a report of screams. Though not unsual to hear screaming in the West End at night, the witness who heard these particular screams must have assumed they were more trouble than they were willing to ignore.

The girl could not speak, but had written in her own blood, these words, "Beware, she will come for you, too."

Obviously the work of a vigilante, investigators are looking into the cause of this raw retribution. This reporter has discovered that the girl was a known thief, con-artist, and had been questioned previously in the "accidental death" of her own child. Could Rhydin have a new Avenging Angel?

Veronica Wolfe, thought to be possible suspect in the De'Morte Massacre, report found Here, was interrogated. Found innocent by Bellora, but information leading to the whereabouts of Belle De'Morte and her past was extracted.

A young woman by the name of Veronica Wolfe was found early this morning by authorities. She was found on the front lawns of the recently closed up De'Morte Manor.

Miss Wolfe was found hanging from a large oak in the front yard, alive but unconscious. It appears that the young woman has been tortured, as digits (fingers and toes) and small sections of skin have been surgically removed, as well as obvious burns and strategically placed cuts on her body. She was discovered nude and dripping with what appears to be some sort of citric acid. Investigators say she appears to have been thoroughly soaked with the acid.

Does the removal of sections of her skin mean this was the work of the Avenging Angel?

Miss Wolfe, upon questioning of those who have known her, was an aquaintance of the sought after Belle De'Morte. Could this have been an act to flush the vampiress out? Was the Avenging Angel seeking information? Was Veronica Wolfe somehow involved in the latest massacre in the West End?

Attempt at flushing out Belle De'Morte using terrorist techniques.

Early this morning the estate of Miss Belle De' Morte caught fire and burned rapidly to the ground. Authorities say the fire burned too hot and fast for anyone to do anything to stop it. Chemical propellants and gases were detected, and fire fighters found it far to unsafe to enter as yet.

Haz-Mat teams are investigating the source of the gases, and have found several melted containers that held traces of deadly chemicals, as well as the typical fire-starters used; gasoline and others.

No sign of Miss De' Morte was found at the scene, but burned into the lawn were these words: "You're walking a line, it's a matter of time. You'll never rest easy again."

Ramanos Case news clipping. First sighting of Bellora in Rhy'din by a witness. Oops! Husband was abusive to wife and starting on children, stealing money from family business to pay off gambling debts, prostitutes, mistresses, and possible drug involvment. Husband threatened wife with death to her and the children if she were to leave him.

A man by the name of Gustav Ramanos was found early this morning when his employees opened his small Deli for business. The sight that met them was one that would make the most sturdy of Watchmen lose his breakfast.

Mr. Ramanos was found dismembered and arranged in his display case. His head, prominantly staged in the center. A letter of apology to his wife and children, obviously written under duress and with the man's own blood was found clenched in his teeth. Investigators are not releasing the letter to the press as yet. His entrails were wrapped in butcher paper and set on the scales. His heart was placed in a jar of pickled wherrie feet, but his gentials are yet to be located.

Apparently sometime late last night, according to Mrs. Kratchit who lives above the shop, Mr. Ramanos was seen to be entering his store with a "Wicked looking woman. All curves and hair and oozing sexuality." He is thought to have been drunk since he was talking loudly and rubbing all over the "brazen hussy". Mrs. Kratchit then heard grunting and noises that, to her, seemed to be the sounds of a couple in the midst of a tryst. Screams from Mr. Ramanos were heard, but written off as his "completion."

Mr. Ramanos did not survive this adulterous affair, however. Investigators say that his time of death is estimated to be around 2:30 A.M. Taped to the window of the deli was a scrap of butcher paper with the words:"You're walking a line, it's a matter of time. You'll never rest easy again."

Jimmy "Acid Face" Moretti. Mobster and pedophile, rapist and counterfitter.

In the wee hours of the morning, when the bitter coolness still reigns, the Marketplace begins to stir. Stall owners, shop proprietors, and various other merchants and mongers begin to set up. It was when this small group arrived that they were greeted with a horrific sight.

The Marketplace had been witness to a terrible slaying. Limbs and pieces of flesh seemed to litter the area, pools of blood stood decaying where puddles of water once stood. Entrails hung from lamp posts like holiday garlands with a gruesome twist. What had happened?

A head, placed in plain sight and obviously arranged to "artfully" display the ghastly visage, was found placed atop the fountain. What monster had done this?

Upon closer investigation, it seems that head belonged to the not so notorious, but vile and frightening, Jimmy "Acid Face" Moretti; suspected up and coming gangster, gun for hire, and mob enforcer. His shaggy, slightly long hair was pinned up in pink barrettes, with a letter clipped in them. Authorities say it seems to be a confession of his crimes, including those commited on his home planet, Earth. Those commited here in Rhydin include murder, rape, fraud, counterfitting, and molestation of several of Rhydin's young street urchins.

Sources are unable to deduce exactly what happened here in the dark of night, but from evidence found, it is suspected that the victim was drawn and quartered, then eviscerated and flung about. Possible explosion is also a theory. Four frightened, bloody horses were found in a panic on the outskirts of the Marketplace. A card was pinned to the bridle of one horse, reading:

"Mr. Moretti was weighed, measured, and found wanting."

It is thought to be the handwriting of the once dubbed "Avenging Angel." Has the Angel found a blood thirsty streak he or she is unable to control? This is the bloodiest and most horrendous victim found to date.

Notorious and vile slaver, Lord Wareth Von Tess

The once well known slaver and despoiler, Lord Wareth Von Tess, was found this evening floating in the fountain of a private residence. The body was horribly disfigured, to say the least, as it appears to have been coated in Sodium Hydroxide, more commonly known as lye, and heaved into the large fountain gracing the estate of Madame La'Vinuet. Screams were heard from neighboring estates, and the authorities were called, but they arrived too late.

Madame La'Vinuet has been out of town, wintering in warmer climes elsewhere, with her daughter and grandchildren. The body is in no way connected to her, nor is she a suspect. Due to the rather isolated and sprawling estate's location, it was a prime dumping place for whom authorities believe to be Rhydin's Avenger. No longer is this person thought to be an angel, due to the horrific ways in which "justice" is being served.

For any of you that may have not passed high school chemistry, Sodium Hydroxide, a base, reacts with the ph in the body. Both the body and the lye try to equilibriate, causing the dissolving of protiens and the emulsification of oils and fats. Basically? You melt.

Lord Von Tess was only recognizable by the hand bound to a pole, free and clear of the water, which bore the ring and crest of his family. This, as well as the well manicured nails, and a small tattoo of a cat'o'nine tails on his inner wrist seems to be enough evidence to convince authorities of his identity. When sought at his home, servants and slaves claimed he had been missing since yesterday afternoon. His money pouch and trade mark whip were also present at the scene; no money was taken.

Look, Mom! I made the papers! This clipping is from the February Issue of The Oracle. It made the botton of page 2!

Filet Mignon

By CUTE NEW INTERN

There are signs that a new vigilante is on the loose in RhyDin, and she is taking the work of bringing justice to the neighborhood to the next level.

On January 9th, the RhyDin Watch found a new "victim" of this vigilante after being called in by the neighbor of the victim who had heard screaming nearby. "I know, I know, you're probably thinking what's so unusual about that in the WestEnd? But when you hear it coming from just next door to you, and with all these murders going on, of course I'm going to report it. I don't want to be next," explained Ms. Zercownawitz, a neighbor to the victim for several weeks now.

Like several other men recently, the victim ? a young woman ? was found skinned of all epidermal and subcutaneous fat layers in a rented room, in the WestEnd. Still alive when the Watch arrived on the scene, she was being kept alive via intravenous fluids and antibiotics. Although still breathing, the girl was unable to speak to members of the Watch or investigators; however, she had managed to write in her own blood, before their arrival, "Beware, she will come for you, too."

Why would a vigilante go after this young woman? Investigators, looking into the matter, discovered that she was a known thief, con artist, and had been questioned previously in the "accidental death" of her own child. Both Ms. Zercownawitz and the woman who rented out the room to the victim were surprised by this news, claiming they did not know she was involved in such nefarious activities.

The Watch has been unable to discover any additional information regarding the perpetrator of this event. One member did state, however, that, " was a crime. These people think they're helping to clean up the streets of RhyDin when all they're really doing is perpetuating the violence. It's disgusting." His captain added that if and when this vigilante is found, she will be held accountable legally for her actions.

Clipped from newspaper, May 2, 2008.

The body of one Mr. Spring, owner and operator of RhyDin's Phoenix House, "Where RhyDin's Women Make a New Start", was found hanging in the meat locker of one of RhyDin's more prominant butcher shops. The authorities were called, and an investigation is in progress.

The man was found hanging, meat hooks shoved through his shoulders, beneath the collar bone. Torture is evident, including the removal of his gentials, which were found wrapped in a bloody bra. The size? 32A, thought most likely to be a training bra. Large sections of flesh has been surgically removed, as per a previous vigilante's style, and it appears that prime sections of flesh have been carved from his loins, displayed on the counter's scale like cuts of beef. Symbolism? Was he being turned into a piece of meat? Victims of this man say that is what he felt woman were.

A note written by the victim was also found, confessing his "conduct unbecoming", to put it mildly, with the teenage residents left in his care. The girls are in the custody of Victim Advocates, and have sworn to the truth in the statements made in his letter. The girls seem happy about his demise, and are grateful someone has finally listened to their pleas.

It has come to the attention of this reporter that the girls had made prior complaints, but investigations into the allegations were shoddy, at best. The girls had been placed in Mr. Spring's home for wayward women under the advisement of the Rhydin Court after having been convicted of numerous crimes, including solicitation and drug use. The girls had been placed there in the hopes of giving them second chances, but it seems their complaints fell on deaf ears. Most confessed to brutality in the Home, as well as threats to their lives if they told anyone.

Seems someone had heard their troubles, and acted upon it. A rather elaborate Satanic altar was also found in the basement of the home, as well as evidence of human sacrifice. The bones found are being tested, but investigators are fairly certain they belong to the girls that had supposedly run away from the home, and jumped paroll.

Is this the work of one of Rhydin's many vigilantes? The means of torture are familiar to the Watch, reminiscent of the Avenging Angel, whom it is thought had disappeared as suddenly as he or she came. The Watch has found a long, female hair on the body, and it is assumed the murderer is female.

Could this be the break the Watch had been looking for? Will the Avenging Angel finally be apprehended? If so, would that really be a good thing? This reporter thinks not. Angel or no, the scum of Rhydin should be scared, for it seems that their time is limited.

May 6, 2008. Client: Joeseph Te'eal, husband of Kay'ra Te'eal. Daughter returned immediately, Mother dispatched as a bonus.

The body of Kay'ra Te'eal was found late this afternoon, horribly mutilated. She was found sitting on a park bench near the WestEnd, her body cavity being used as a planter. She had been split from groin to chest, eviscerated, and stuffed with soil. Star-Gazer Lilies were growing from the earth in her body.

Kay'ra Te'eal had been under investigation for prostitution, drug distribution, and selling her own 12 year old daughter, Kimbra, as a prostitute. Mrs. Kay'ra Te'eal's husband had restraining order against his wife, and just days ago had called the Watch regarding the disappearance of his youngest daughter, Joelene Te'eal, age 9. It is thought that Kay'ra had taken the girl from the couples home. When questioned, neighbors corroberated Mr. Te'eal's story about his estranged wife and her drug habits, as well as a witness to the girl being beaten and drug from the house by Kay'ra and an unknown male suspect.

Joelene was returned to her father this afternoon after having been delivered to the Watch headquarters. The girl was blindfolded, but was sobbing, praising the Angel that had saved her from her Mommy. Counseling is being given to the entire surviving family, especially the two young girls. There was no evidence that Joelene had been sexually abused, but she told Watch officers that "tonight was supposed to be my first big date. Mommy painted my face and had a dress for me to wear for my date. It was see-through."

It is thought that one of RhyDin's vigilantes is responsible for the death of Kay'ra, as the typical letter of confession was found beside the body, as well as incriminating photos of Kay'ra slapping Joelene around. A card, much like the one's used by florists in bouquets, was found among the lilies in Kay'ra's body cavity. This reporter has the scoop on what it said:

"Never Mother of the Year.
Not once did she shed a tear.
Kay'ra brought nothing but pain,
she was a putrid, shameful stain.
Kay'ra Te'eal has been given a new duty,
to sit amongst the filth, a vessal for sparse beauty."

Criminal pyschologist, Dr. Freda Cornish, believes that the positioning of the body, the use of her as a "flower pot" is the murderer's way of turning what they believe to be an ugly soul into something useful, something beautiful. They are trying to use her death to "give something back, some of the beauty that the woman had taken from her family and from the city."
