It had been over a month since he came to this hellhole.
Since that Air sent him her.
He was going to kill her.
When he first arrived to the gate of the Chaotics, he prepared himself for the worst to come. And it came right on schedule. There was absolute nothingness everyone. Void of elements and life. Everything that you thought was life was gone, nothing but darkness and sorrows here - for most.
He accepted his fate, at least the Divine didn't kill him. But, he was going to make her regret that decision. Those thoughts were his only motivation, the sweet and tangible desire to bring to life to and end. He was done with his Realm, and everything about his bloodline. He was going solo. He was going to get around to those who really ran Rhy'Din... and was going to laugh at the destruction of all.
The presence of his dear brother was bittersweet. Storm had brought Xavier here many many months ago, the blackness ate any life remaining in him. But, Xavier had spies, sneaks, informants. He was keeping regular tabs on Rhy'Din, special request by Korigan.
"Korigan.. I believe I have some news to what you've been waiting for." Xavier said to him. He didn't seem to keep track of time anymore... nothing but darkness... so alone and cold...
"Yeah? What have you're informants told you this time?" Korigan said with a smirk. No information had come from Rhy'Din in so long... the best thought Korigan had was that the WestEnd murderer had been found.. and all goodness had been restored.
How depressing. He could feel the blackness start to close in on him... but the sweet image of blood dripping from that bronzed, strong neck was so close...
"Seems as though the WestEnd murderer has joined forces with more, or is becoming very busy." Xavier went on to describe the gruesomely delightful events, reading off stolen Oracle articles. "It also seems as though the Eagle gave the Divine the Exotic Stones..." This, he repeated from memory.
Golden eyes whorled on his older brother. "The Exotic Stones? Shit, she's almost untouchable now." All of his plans... killed to ruins. The Exotic Stones could no almost anything for an Elemental. They could give you defenses against some elements... block you entirely... give you no elements at all.... the blackness was creeping in, and he was about to welcome it with open arms.
"All but one really... the Black Stone." He said, and opened his palm, the stone carefully threaded onto a leather strap. "Seems as though a petty thief got ahold of it first... and now it's yours" Xavier then dropped the black stone into Korigan's open palm.
