Once they were out and a few steps away from the Inn, she sighed deeply and looked up at him, "I suppose I orginally did not expect to create such a ruckus. I'm sorry, dear one."
He smiled and patted her hand that rested on his arm, "We will make it through as long as I do not lose my temper. That guard, though, I do not think was an actual guard, or if he was, well, he will be an desperately unhappy one tomorrow."
"As long as you do not lose your temper? I am more concerned about losing my own." But she used a teasing grin at that, before rolling her eyes, "I was not worried. Drunks do not count as witnesses, and Robert does not count as a man."
"And they had no proof at that. I mean, it is not as if you were the only one there capable of such an event."
"Yes, this is true also." The hand that was on his arm moved down in hopes to thread with his hand, "However ridiculous the situation was, it was still not enjoyable. I might have not kept most of my manners if you were not there." She said a bit sheepishly.
"Then we helped each other." His hand entwined with hers.
"A good system to hold." She brought their joined hands to her lips, kissing the back of his, before continuing on the trail to home, "Avery spoke very highly of his time with you." She said, changing the subject to more merry times.
He laughed, "We did have some fun today. I'm glad he enjoyed it."
The laugh was not so expected, and so she peers at him slightly, "Is there something I do not know of?"
"I do not think so. I am sure Avery would have spoken of everything. The climbing of the trees, the learning to through sticks, but only when necessary." He added.
She was still giving him a suspicious look, though the look in her eyes were teasingk, "Hmm.. no major trouble?"
"No," He looked the picture of innocence, "Why? Did Avery say something?"
"Perhaps." She tried to school her look to giveaway nothing, though her eyes still held their teasing nature.
"I cannot imagine what it would have been." He had a very puzzled expression.
She chuckled softly, finding his expression endearing, "Oh, he said nothing of the sort. I am only teasing you." She squeezed his hand gently and gave it a tug to bring him closer to her in hopes of giving him a kiss.
And the kiss was shared and even deepend slightly for a brief moment, then he whispered, "Should we not wait until we get inside?" He obviously teased.
"Hmm, but the outdoors could be exhilarating..." She muttered, though also teasing, she leaned up again, her teeth grazing his bottom lip, before taking a small step back, "Though I suppose I can wait." A wicked gleam still in her eyes.
"I am wondering," He started slowly, delaying his steps, "How much longer we should wait."
She paused and looked at him, unsure if he is being serious or not, and simply raised a brow.
"I do not want to rush you, Storm, but I also do not want to let the moment pass me by."
She was now unsure if they were speaking on the same subject as she stepped closer to him, "I do not think this is the only moment, beloved." Though a finger came up to trail along his cheek gently, "We seem to have many... moments." A faint smile for him.
He smiled, "That is not what I meant." He looked into her eyes and smiled, "But no, I think this is not the moment either. Come, let us go to your home and rest. It has been an eventful evening."
Her brows furrow just a touch, clearly she did not understand where his thoughts had turned to, "What... moment?" She continued to look up at him.
