Storm brushed off the snow from the hood of her cloak and stomped her boots free before stepping inside the Guardian's Library. The slightly dusty smell of old parchment brought an unusual sense of comfort. Many nights she had spent in libraries alone or with others. Her lips eased into a secretive smile at the memories of finding alone time with Ewan at the library in Rhydin while they courted, and even falling asleep in his lap while he worked. The memories while sweet, would only cloud her mind from the importance of her meeting. Pushing them reluctantly aside, she stepped further inside to find Shawn's whereabouts.

She found him in a chair near the hearth, once again deeply engrossed in her simple journal. She cleared her throat absently to not startle him, though surely he had heard her approach, "Good morning, Shawn." She gave a warm smile as she sat in a nearby chair, "I hope the day finds you well."

"It does, yes." She could tell that he smiled by the way the corner of his eyes crinkled, but he didn't yet tear his eyes away from his reading material. It lasted only a few moments before he set it down and gave her his full attention, "I am sorry to hear of your husband's homeworld. I hope that everything is set to rights." His voice rang with sincerity through the large room.

"Thank you, I hope so as well." It brought anxious feelings just thinking about the matter, so she moved on, "I know that my notes are not particularly scholarly, but I hope that it is enough for you to help me."

"They are just perfect," He set them aside, "and you have recorded enough for us to step forward and continue. I do not know if such things can be discovered where our gifts thrive, but let us take it one step at a time, shall we? Now, this is what I think we should do."

Storm listened to his details with acute attention, trying to mentally record everything she possibly could. And when details were specific, she took quick, neat notes for future reference. This new goal was a priority, and one that she wanted to meet with urgency. Never again did she want to be without a hold over her gifts to protect the ones that she loved.
