Jeremiah had been sitting there for quite sometime. His days in Rhy'Din had been quite pleasant thus far and he enjoyed sitting in the Marketplace and observing the people quite a lot. It was interesting to see the cultures that swept through. As he sat there at a little shop with a table out front, he was in bliss simply observing.
Storm was just returning from the docks, and was only slipping through the Marketplace to reach home. But, a sense of Earth had her grey eyes narrowing as she searched for the source. There!.. It was hard to miss the tall Earth, even if he was sitting. She manuevered through the crowd to approach his table, "Stil here I see."
He looked up to see Storm, e had felt her, as she had felt him no doubt. He smiled slightly, "You did not think you could get rid of me that easy did you?" He laughed to himself slightly, but maintained his smile.
She smirked, "It is not I, but this place." She glanced over her shoulder, a quick scan of those close by, before looking to him again, "Keeping out of trouble?" She raised a brow.
He had been keeping somewhat out of trouble. He was spending most of his days here in the Marketplace trying to observe the customs of Rhy'Din. He knew he already stood out of place with the way he looked. He did not want to be even more out of place. He blinked once before answering, "I have been doing my best to stay out of trouble. I hear however that you have gotten yourself into quite a bit of trouble however." He smirked a little, and added somewhat non-chalantly, but still with the greatest respect "I offer my best wishes to you and Ewan."
She was frowning slightly until his last sentence, and she could not help the steady and bright smile that came to her face, "Oh, thank you. It was lovely." She added on a sigh, her grey eyes having a far-away look for only moment, before looking back to him, "Whom did you hear from?"
He could see that Ewan made her happy. He smiled and answered "Why, from your father of course." Was there almost a teasing tone in his voice, or sincerity? It was hard to place.
Her eyes narrowed just the slightest at his non-chalant response, "Of course." She mumbled, before absently reaching to touch the coin-sized amulet around her neck. "How is your lady?" She asked politely, even if she refrained from using her name.
His eyes narrowed slightly. A little bit of pain seathed his heart, but he pushed it away. He smiled and laughed a little to bring some humor to the situation, "Your guess is as good as mine, Storm." He had wondered how she was doing as well, but did not want to see her at the moment. She had hurt him, but then again, it ended for a reason.
His almost nervous laughter brought a slight frown to her face, "And what is that suppose to mean?"
"It means what it does. Kiara and I went our seperate ways." He forced a slightly uncomfortable smile, even though his tone made it clear that the subject was not available for discussion right now.
