It was a couple of days after Kaz had settled back to his own realm, even just for that time being. Kazuki favored a small lawn chair, not too far off from the East wall of the house, so he could lean back without any fear. His head, however, wasn't caught up with the trifles of posture, base, and balance on that rough little chair. He thought back to the encounter with Emma the night before, his head still spinning from all the details. He hadn't dared tell his mother, even when she worked in that little, rough Green House where she seemed calmest of all. Speaking of which, his eyes took a slow gaze over to the broken glass house, scanning his mother as she worked slowly but diligently on those bonzai trees. She wrapped cords, limiting their growth, and trimmed their branches. He scanned her face and saw the slight smile that was forming on her lips. Oh now he couldn't even want to tell her all about Emma, their love, and...her pregnancy. He shook his head as he pulled a bottle of that cheap Sake from underneath his seat. He slowly took a drink straight from the bottle, cringed, and set it back down. It was the perfect time of year to drink sake, but what was weighing on his spirit seemed to weigh the sake's taste down as well. He sighed, not believing his incredibly bad luck and quickly setting the drinks container on the ground next to him.

Later that night, Kaz had woken up just ten minutes to falling asleep. His jade eyes traveled to the clock, quickly smacking it off in frustration and sending it to the floor. It shattered, and his eyes stared. He watched the alarm fall, slowly at that, and had decided not to stop it...His eyes traveled its pieces, took in its symbolic meaning towards himself. He got up, shrugging his shoulders as he moved those joints. He began to dress, pack, and try to stay as silent as possible. On the way out of that door, he left a simple message to his mother. Nothing special, just see ya later and I'll be back soon. With all the clothes in his case, he doubted that indeed was going to be the......case. He quickly left, in search of that land Rhydin and his own place in it..even if the realm was a curse so far. Yet, he had to put those pieces of himself back together.

((Not a very good post, but it's my first one...give me a break, yall))
