He returned to the Belarus estates to clock out and report his insubordination. However upon filing the report he was arrested. The guards pinned him down hard as they placed the cuffs on him and took him to the holding pen. He got to his knees and lowered his head. He sat there and waited to be told what will happen to him. He heard the door slam and he was left there. He closed his eyes and took the time to contemplate the actions he had commited.

Gabriel was released under penalty of probation. He didn?t like having his stars taken from him. But he had to?He had no choice. It was hand them over or quit. Course logic would dictate him to hand them over?.and he did. It was that get home, tell Liara he quit and drive her so mad she killed him. Hell every time he even mentioned it she knocked the hell out of him.

He headed out from the compound. He watched them close the gates behind him. He was also warned if he came back while still under probation he would be arrest again for violation of probation. He slid his hands into his pockets and walked off. He would be back soon. He had to think of where to go?Not home because he wouldn?t hear the end of it from Liara. Hell Ren would do the same thing?.Take the Empire?s side on it. So he had no where to go eh?

It started to rain. He didn?t care, hell far as he was concerned?..was a step up from her position. He looked up. Crimson hair soaked and flattening to his head, shirt sticking and pants squishing, he definitely deserved it.

"Gabriel..." Sarah was a good woman at times. Other times she was hard, because she saw so much more in people then what they were doing. She found that Gabriel had so much more potential then what he was showing as of late. That was the only reason he had been pushed so hard. The probation was merely to see if Gabriel could come out on top.

Slowly she moved to his side, holding an umbrella over his head. A soft and kind motherly smile upon her lips as she spoke," Walk with me Gabriel. There is something I must show you." She would wait. Watching the rain fall around the umbrella like little invading drops that could not puncture the shield provided.

He walked with her. He rather liked the rain. Gave him a soothing sensation so he could actually think and collect his thoughts maybe prioritize. He wondered what it was she had to show him. He walked beside her under the umbrella. Something about her was off. Motherly? Her?No?Impossible. She had always been mean to him in the past?why the change now?

He kept quiet and hands in his pockets. He didn?t have a weapon with him or he would have had that loaded and at the ready to be drawn if lured into a trap. He knew was dwelling upon this to much. His punishment? Deserved it. This, all be it creepy and scary, worried him to no end?Last time someone said ?to show him something? He wanted to kill himself and nearly did. What exactly was her game here.

Sarah was leading him back to her and Dust's personal estate. It had been a while since she had done much of anything, let anyone even call at that location. Once there, she didn't enter, she just simply went around the back. They walked through a garden filled to the brim with all kinds of flowers. None of them looked like they were even from Earth let alone Rhy'din.

When she got to the center of the garden, she settled herself upon a small crate. Dust would remember it, if he knew it was there. She drew in a deepened breath and gave the crate a small kick," I wanted you to see this first hand..."

She swallowed lightly, her smile faltered for a moment before she spoke again," This was where I lived, in this box before Dust found me... It was blizzard conditions and he took me to the hall to get warm."

He growled and looked at her. He calmed down and took a deep breath.

?Why am I here? What does this have to do with what I am facing now??

A little anger in his voice yes. But could you blame him? He didn?t care about the box, woopdy doo? He looked at her. His eyes staring into hers. He wanted to know exactly WHAT she was wanting. Cause if it wasn?t anything to important he was definitely heading home.

"I was a stranger to Dust, he could have given a rats arse about me. But you know what he did? He swore then and there that he would protect me, keep the shadows from taking me." She lifted up her neck to show how free of necklaces it was, not even a loose one was wrapped about her neck.

"For months I felt the cold kiss of shadows bound around my neck. At any moments notice, shadows would seep up from the ground and take me to my Master's bidding. I was a pawn of a cold and cruel plot thanks to my stupidity in the past. And I must admit, I still tend to be stupid from time to time in my present." Sarah gave him a weak smile," I do things that caused you trouble when I should have understood the trouble you were experiencing. However, as a soldier you were trained to put your heart separate from your mind, but use it to keep you strong every day."

Copper gaze turned up towards the stars and she drew in a breath," Out there is no different. The Nano Empire is coming, I know, I can feel it. Why do you think I keep sneaking away? Because each and everyday I look through the streets of Rhy'din for that one clue I'm looking for... The brotherhood."

"They won't care if you're having issues in your family life, or if you miss your husband so desperately that you don't sleep anymore. No. To you they're just a being that is ripe for the killing and to them... I'm a Core that has no right existing." Pausing she drew in a deep breath," They did what ever they could to make sure that Dust's body was destroyed back on Corbin, but they had forgotten his Core. They won't forget about it again... Now that they know he's out there on the front lines, fighting to keep the Nanos at bay. We're the back line, Gabriel, and the brotherhood will be the first to come marching through the back door. It could be this very minute, or it could be years. Either way... We had given you such a position because we were depending on you to keep this world for the Empire safe. It is after all, the home to so many, including yourself."

He sighed and crossed his arms. He knew what she was saying. He understood the risks. He was originally brought in cause of his ability to fight and get the job done. He looked up then sighed. He looked at the moon.

He closed his eyes. ?Sarah. I have never disobeyed an order I knew wouldn?t get the job done. ?

He let his head fall and slowly opened his eyes to a crack. ?For the first time?when it comes to this?I don?t know what to do?I am lost.?

He didn?t know what to do. Really, he had given as much as he could for them? He closed his eyes once more. If Liara was here, she would either find this cute or depressing of him. Either would end up with him on his back.
