The Tagirians


The Tagirians are a warrior race. Not only are their military prowess respected on certain worlds. Their love for beauty is also amazing. Their jungles are taken well care off. When the rains are sparce. They take what water they can and spray the jungles. One reason to keep it lush. The other to keep the beasts alive for hunts.

Their military is vast. Five thousand ships. Over one million soldiers. Although they have a home world. The Tagirians have several colony worlds. Which add to their cred and trade prowess.

Their fleet has never been beat. And their ground tactics have yet to be even close to matched. THeir most respected of people is Tagir himself. He is the leader of their people. Once the current Tagir`s life ends. A new one is selected. And he names the new banner and lead clan of the Targian race.

The Targirian race dates back to the earliest times of space travel. They were far advanced at that time. But no one knows how they got the militarist advancements they have. Some specualte the weapons and ships are of an Ancient origin. If you ask any of the Targians where it all came from. They would say at the beginning of time the first Tagir gave it to them. Today it is mere folklore. Something to give young warriors hope on the battlefeild. They pray to the first Tagir for strength and a victory.

The different Variations were for different types of feild. The Camo for jungle. And the one with the face sash was for cold climates. The Red colored Armor was Mech commandos. Yellow Ship-to-Ship assualt. Blue was Delta Commandos. Gold was Heavy assualt Commandos. Those ones were the most common amung the Special forces. The ones with the shoulder pad modifications were the Commanders. Each group in the special forces had a few. If not one for each unit.

These troopers made up the bulk of the Tagirian space forces. Though expertly trined in ship-to-ship and fighter-to-fighter combat. They are lax when it comes to ground fighting.

The most rare of units to be on the battle feild. These men and women can repair or build anything. Masters with a welder and pulse cutter.

Literally the ground forces Eyes and Ears in a fight. They also work along side the Heavy Armored Corps in coordinating tactical bombardments. The second armro was the armro used by the Squad commanders all the wasy up to Corps. leader.

They make up most of the Special Forces assualt units. Common on High level Mission like the Invasion of Aloria. Thought driven back none the less. They make up one of the meanest units in the Tagirian Military.

These troopers are Commander class. Ranked as Colonels. But had Red coloring. These men were never seen outside of the Capitol Building on Tagir. They were the Tagir`s personal War time council.

Their coloration doesnt signify Rank or class. They are above Special forces. Designed for atmospheric boreding of an enemy vessel. Their boots had special magnetic plates that allowed them to stick to the ship while they cut into it.

THis is a one of a kind armor. Made only for the Tagir (Pornounced Ta`Geer) himself. Each Tagir past is burried in his armor. It is a symbol of honor when they cross over into the second life. To show the Tagirians in waiting on the other side that a Tagir walks amung them.

Planet - Masumeria

It is a Sprawling half jungle planet. The jungle is spread out. Circling the cities and full of wild and dangerous animal. Their music was scavenged from archives from a cruiser they took from Earth. They used it in scientific studies but nothing else. The animals are varried. Several of the animal species are taken from a varriety of planets.

The populus lives in one of the six major cities. ANy settlements outside of those cities are on their own. A test to see if they can last. And if they do. Their helped to grow and enlargen. The cities are vast. House over ten thousand citizens and Military personel.

System - Sigma Octanus

This star system is home to the Tagirian race. And the Alroian race. This star system is labeled by all Galactic governments a hot zone. The two races are at..or were at war. But tensions between their peoples are still high. their massive fleets stand guard over the borders of their two planetary lines. Even thought the Tagirian out number the ALorian. The Alorian have more advanced ships. Sigma Octanus was split in half at the start of the war. The left regioin is Tagirian. Right is Alorian. WHen you pass through you better make sure you have a neutral IDC pinging constantly.

Planet - Sigma Octanus I

Lush in its jungles. The trees grew very tall?Usually two to three stories tall. This makes it easy to hide on the ground. Do to the thick canopy. Light is little and night is abundant. The main research facility was established at the beginning with the direct control of Tagir the first. The only city is in the only clearing. But it is surrounded with HEAVY anti-air guns. Each can take out a capitol ship with six or seven shots.

Planet - Medaros

It is a technological heaven. It is home to the planet wide ship yard for the Tagirians. On average it produces about one hundred ships per day. Each male and female citizen without a child is ordered to work. And they do so happily. Above the planet is a pair of rings that criss cross together. And yes they are connected. Making a giant defensive shield. It is home to the Mass Shadow point Defense grid. Once the shield is active. Any blaster or laser fire it redirected back to the sending vessel. But it is magnified ten fold and more refined to the point it is as thin as a hair. Making it able to go straight through the ship. The shield is unable to stop ships from going to ground. The defensive turrets are classes from splinter to heavy Turbo-laser. With over one hundred thousand automated defense turrets. This planet it the second most guarded in the Sigma Octanus system. Aside fromt he ship the Tagirians Star Fighter production facility is here as well. ON average they can produce enough fighter to blot out a sun from orbit. Many being Drone ships. These Drone fighters comprise much of the Tagirian Fighter Corps. The Tagirian Pilots also train here and test out the new fighter-drones in a real live-fire simulation. The Pilot is enjected fromthe fighter in a safety pod befor e his fighter explodes. IF it doesnt do what was intended it is sent back to the drawing board and re-designed.

Planets - Ao & Ao Prime

Ao Prime is a small but mineral rich world. It has no atmosphere. But the inside is filled with Duracreete. This mineral is then refined into Durasteel that makes up the thick four one and one half inch layer hull of the ships coming into service. Ao is said to also be alive. It is always producing more and more Duracreete. Although there is a survey taken every three months. The numbers say the levels of Duracreete aren?t decreasing any. It is a moon of Ao. A medium sized planet with rich soil for planting crops. Along with the Duracreete. Thousands of tons of food produced each month feeds the entire race for months. In importance these two planets are the same as the ship yards. A grouping of heavy cannons orbits each planet. The numbers of those stations are in the hundreds. Each one able to fire a ionized plasma round clear through an Alorian Capitol ship. But they aren?t invincible. They are one direction shots. The stations cannot move so that?s the reasoning behind so many to guard two planets. The numbers of inhabitants on Ao rank in the high millions. Ever since the food shortage a few hundred years ago. A few cloning facilities are present on Ao to produce animals for food. Water purification centers are ever present at every major body of water. And several out in the oceans.

The DC-15 blaster rifle is a common weapon used by the Republic clone troopers. This was seen being carried by a majority of clone troopers in the Zarinfel Republic army.The DC-15 uses magazine cartridges filled with tibanna gas which results in blue laser bolts when fired. The DC-15 uses two types of ammunition in conjunction which are the tibanna gas cylinder and the charge magazine. The tibanna gas cylinder stores enough gas required for 600 rounds while the charge magazine usually only stores 60 rounds. This forces the user to change the charge magazine much more often than the tibanna gas cylinder. The DC-15S side arm also uses a rechargeable battery that lasts for 7 subsequent shots before the weapon pauses to recharge.

The DC-15 series of blasters has developed into three primary versions

The DC-15A blaster rifle is carried by the majority of the Tagirian Troopers.

The DC-15 also bears a resemblance to the MG42 machine gun used in World War II. The "pod" seen on the underside of the rifle is a scope that can be detached from the underside carrying position and placed into position upon the topside of the weapon for sniping purposes. The DC-15A was considered a very difficult weapon to operate due to the volatile tibanna gas it utilized. The well trained Troopers however were more than capable of making full use of the rifle with little to no trouble.

The DC-15S carbine is known to have features such as foresight protectors, a blaster power cell located on the side of the blaster's receiver, and a folding rifle stock. The DC-15S blaster carbine was used by many regular Troopers during ship to ship battles. The DC-15S carbine apparently had an advantage over the bulky, heavier rival DC-15A blaster rifle the Troopers carried. The wider use of the DC-15S blaster carbine by the Troopers and same for the DC-15S side arm blaster was commonly used by the Commandos as a backup weapon in addition to their DC-17m Interchangeable weapon system. An energy cell recharged the blaster at a slow but steady rate.


Their armor consists of 20 form-fitting plates over a black body glove. Based on their ancient ancestors armor but modified to withstand High temperatures and High levels of Gas. Each helmet is outfiitted with a Comlink antenna, gas/oxygen filter. Each plate is sealed to the body glove by magnatomic gription panels.

The commandos, also known as "Tagirian Republic Commandos", were elite Special forces soldiers of the Tagirian Republic.

Many battles have been won through the unsung efforts of the Commando squads. They were the predecessors of the elite Tagirian Imperial Storm Commandos.

The commandos were initiated at Tagir's demand. He was given ten thousand clones to train, saying that "you can't have an army of drones." Many other Zargosis outcasts and technical experts helped train the commandos.

The Commandos were created in response to the AR troopers' independent behavior. Commandos were created to be superior to AR Troopers. They are considered the best of the best of the Tagirian Army, as this quote mentions: "If you need a job done, you can send 10 ten AR Troopers, 100 Troopers, or 4 Commandos

Each clone has enhanced physical and mental abilities. They are able to lift twice their own body weight and crack even the toughest of security codes.

Commandos trained in groups of four, and often stayed with that group for all their life in training and in battle. This resulted in Commandos forming intense brotherly bonds, which helped to fuse them as a lethal team. This resulted in the Commandos acquiring skills that complimented each others, although all were competent in performing their comrades' duties (i.e. sniping, hacking, lobbing grenades, etc). Each commando's training is decided by the person that was their head instructor. Each instructor was personally picked by Tagir.

Commando organization was based on the local aiwha predator, which hunted in teams of four. Each commando developed colorful nicknames to develop pride and uniqueness such as armor painting, a Tagirian tradition. Delta Squad was the first to paint their armor individually, creating not only pride, but the ability to identify each other quickly on the battlefield.

Each commando in a squad had his own profession, such as: demolitions, sniping/ambush, slicing, and infiltration/tactics. Each squad contained both a squadron leader and squadron advisor. Another attribute different from regular and AR troopers, was that all the commandos developed habits, accents, and voice patterns similar to those of their trainers, with the exception of Republic Commando RC/1138 "Sarge" who inherited Tagir's Concord Dawn accent.

Commandos were assigned to carry out covert operations too delicate for regular troopers. Infiltration, sabotage, laying traps, siege breaking, covert recon, assassination and subterfuge were all in a day's work for the clone commandos.

However, the commandos were not all about subtlety. They had at their disposal a DC-17m, a pulse rifle which could be field-stripped and changed into an anti-armor RPG and a sniper rifle. This allowed them to essentially carry three weapons in one streamlined, efficient package. Despite its multi-purpose nature, the weapon is more powerful than the DC-15 series of blaster rifles in the sense that it fires faster.

The DC-17m is actually a simple platform on which many different types of weapons can be mounted. It can be outfitted with an blaster attachment, a sniper attachment or an anti-armor grenade launching attachment. The DC-17m's primary blaster attachment has a magazine capacity of sixty rounds, with Commandos carrying up to five magazines for a total of 300 rounds. The sniper attachment has magazines holding five high-powered rounds, with each Commando carrying up to four magazines for a total of twenty sniper shots, while the anti-armor attachment only chambers one shaped-charge anti-armor grenade at a time though a Commando may carry an additional three in reserve.


Commandos, instead of wearing regular-grade clone trooper armor, wore advanced Zarban-class commando armor, which generated their own shielding, giving the commando the ability to withstand a barrage of shots and still be able to fire back before taking serious damage. The armor consists of a black undersuit with white or black (Omega Squad) armor plating. The under suit provides a level of artificial thermal insulation, while the armor plating provides the majority of the kinetic defense. The armour can also provide a limited degree of protection to hard vacuum (with approximately 20 minutes of oxygen in the Zarban version 3), and is somewhat fireproof. Bacta could also be easily applied to the commando via handheld dispensers.

Ion Squad-

The Ion Team was a Commando squad serving under Twitch (Spaud Leader). Ion Team was made up of Climber, Ras, Trace and a fourth clone commando. The commandos of Ion Team include: Climber (Squad tactitian), Trace (Small Arms Expert), and Ras (unknown).

Omega Spuad-

Darman previously served in the Battle of Gelzoria as part of Theta Squad, with squad members Jay, Vin and Taler. However, these three were killed during a failed operation at the Battle of Gelzoria. Darman was subsequently assigned to Omega Squad, a team composed of individuals who had also lost their comrades/brothers in the Battle of Gelzoria, although Atin had actually lost two squads: the first in a training accident before the outbreak of The Clone Wars, and the second during the Battle of Gelzoria.

Deltas Squad-

Delta Squad has been sent on campaigns around the entire galaxy including the assassination of Gorlatis lieutenant Sortey Donreos and have repelled a SF attack on Zargon City in Zargonia Prime- losing Delta 07 in the process. The mission to defend the Zargonianl City gathered valuable intelligence and destroyed strategic SF positions, aiding greatly in the Battle of Zargonia Prime. Following the loss of Eyes, the remaining Deltas were informed by Tagir himself that they were the ones who had made it possible for the Republic invasion force to aid the Zargonian's against the SF forces. Eyes was later rescued by his borthers after they fought countless enemy droids to get to him.

During a recon mission at the MIA assault ship TRAS Progeny, before the reconnaissance on Zargonia Prime, Delta Squad would rescue Omega Squad with the help of a stolen SF ship and then team up with Omega Squad, Sergeant Leon Fortunase, two heavy assualt Clones, Drakose , and Null Arc troopers N-11 Ordo and N-7 Mereel to find a SF leak on Agra Prime. Delta squad is considered the legendary squad, the best of the commandos, and thus, some of the most deadly beings in the galaxy. They're also sometimes compared to their inferior predecessors, ARC troopers.

Droids-

Super battle droids are upgraded battle droids used by the Semarune Federation.One of the main design flaws of the standard B-1(tall, skeletal, armed with blaster rifles, with augmented backpack) battle droid was its reliance on a Droid Control Ship to provide a signal; if the ship is disabled, the battle droids would become utterly useless. The super battle droid (or B-2) does not rely on such a signal and has a greater capacity for independence, as well as much more aggressive combat intelligence. In the Battle of Gelzor ia, Super Battle Droids were known to mow down older-model B-1s in order to get a better shot at the enemy and could sometimes go berserk by simply shooting its blaster arm rapidly without over heating.Their frames are larger and more heavily armored then the Standard Droids but remain skeletal to emphasize intimidation. Blasters are mounted on their arms, but they are capable of using certain external weapons, though their large hands make it difficult for them to use smaller blasters. Due to the high cost of manufacturing a new droid, the super battle droid uses some of the same parts as the standard B-1.

Though more advanced than standard battle droids, super battle droids are still no match for the creative intelligence of clone troopers, but they were physically far superior to clones. Both super battle droids and clone troopers first saw combat at the Battle of Gelzorai,and the new B-2 designs proved formidable but ultimately inferior. All of this is mainly due to the SF giving little effort for its lack of a secondary blaster arm and possibly a wrist rocket launcher.

A second type of super battle droid was produced, the B-2A, which was used for clearing Tagirian Republic starships and protecting vital assets. These droids were often encountered by Commandos. These droids replaced one arm, with a huge cannon, which was strong enough to cause damage to Zarban armour. These droids were able to utilize an energy shield to protect themselves from Grenade blasts and had more advanced armour which was able to take damage from a DC-17m assault repeater. These droids, however, had deadly weaknesses, which were exploited by Commandos. They often wore darker armour than the battlefield configuration of the B-2 series.

Tens of thousands of super battle droids saw use throughout The Unification wars as "marines" for the Semarune Federation along with its smaller cousins Though the first Super Battle Droids seen on Gelzoria wore an unpainted dull silver tone, many of the droids used in later battles of the Unification Wars were painted a metallic blue, likely to help them stand out from the red coloration the SF used for its standard battle droids.

It is unclear who invented the B-2 battle droid,the Gelzorians designed the standard B-1 and even modeled it after themselves. It is believed that the B-2 upgrade was produced following a deal between the SF and IDC ,but other sources claim that they took the existing design and upgraded it.

B-3 Ultra Battle Droids greatly resembled the super battle droid, however, it towered at a height of 4 meters, and also had four arms, two fitting the droid's size and wielding wide spray plasma cannons, and two smaller arms brandishing blaster cannons. On the droid's shoulder was a mounted rocket launcher. The B-3 ultimate battle droid was not used frequently, as it was much more expensive to mass produce compared to the other SFIDC war machines.

Known as Assassin droids, these droids featured red shoulder or camo markings. It was programmed to hunt the enemy's commanders or leaders, using accurized Sniper Rifles.

The Cortosis Battle Droid is an improved version of the Super Battle Droid, armored with its namesake, a rare mineral only found on the planet Xeora. Being difficult for anyone to destroy they were rushed into mass production during the Unification Wars. It fell to Tagir and Delta Squad to destroy the factory that produced them, and during this mission, he discovered a critical weakness in their design; a small gap that ran vertically in their torso armor. After their success, no more Cortosis Battle Droids were produced Battle droid commanders which are droids that function as the Officer class.

Battle droid commanders distinguish themselves by having yellow markings on their head and Abdomen; otherwise they are superficially identical to standard battle droids. They have greater autonomy and strategic skills when compared to standard battle droids, although they are still ultimately subservient to the Droid Control Ships. They were used by the Traders Guild during the Battle of Zeloria and, presumably, by the SFIDC ()during the Unification Wars.

The Assault droid is a member of the SFIDC Droid Army, uses missile launchers to destroy the CArmy's various vehicles such as the AT-TW, AT-TE gunships, or the Republic IFT-X Hover Tank. The BAW E-60R is the common weapon used by the Assault Droids. Although not as powerful as the AR Trooper of the Tagirian Republic, the droids are still a threat to the Tagirian Republic. Engineers of the Republic learned to stay away and fear its presence on the battlefield. Assault Droids are also equipped with Conner Ship Systems HX2 Mines.

The AT-AW (Armored Transport Assualt walker) is a six legged craft with a top mounted Laser cannon. A pair of rear mounted rapid fire splinter laser turrets. The cockpit is guarded by four foward mounted laser cannons with Plasma/ Ion injectors to prevent over heating of the cockpit.

The AT-TE(Armored Troop Transport Evacuator) is a two winged vessel. Two side mounted beam turrets. The wings have a pair of double barreled AA turrets for intercepting or shooting down incomming missiles. A pair of forward mounted splinter laser barrels rest under the Cockpit and are Ion injected to the engines to evenly discharge Plasma waste. Two heavy plasteel doors to protect troops from Ground AA and ground blaster rifle fire.

The TLH is a eight legged vessel with one top mounted Long range Arch-Trubo laser cannon with a range up to several miles at maximum but only seven hundred yards minimum. Vulnerable to close range attacks have led to the further upgrading of the TLH with a bottom mounted Gatling-Lasert turret and rear mounted Anti-Infantry laser guns.

Also known as the Tagirian Turbo Tank, this heavy assault vehicle was developed by the Medaros Drive Yards and introduced in the later stages of the Unification War. Actually intended to provide remote outposts with enough firepower to defend themselves against droid attack, its value was soon recognised by Republic tacticians as well. It soon all but replaced the AT-TE and TX-130S as the primary ground assault vehicle. Rolling across the ground on 10 massive wheels, it could transport up to 300 troops and/or up to 1000 tons of cargo in its heavily armoured interior. Powered by a huge reactor, sheathed in heavy armour plate and loaded with multiple highly devastating weapons systems, the HAVw A6 Juggernaut was one of the most powerful and deadly assault vehicles ever made, superseded only by the Imperial All-Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT). Droid commanders very rightly feared its presence on the battlefield.

The massive blocky body and large rolling wheels meant that it was often (rather unlovingly) called the ?rolling slab? by troops and vehicle commanders. As it was so heavy and unwieldy, the Juggernaut was next to impossible to turn round. This problem was solved by the addition of another, smaller driving cockpit at the ?rear? which meant it could be driven from either end. Juggernaut crews debated heavily as to which were the true front and back ends, but the general consensus is that it usually drove from right to left when seen from a position such as that in the left-hand image above. While highly difficult to turn round a full 180?, each of the Juggernaut?s 10 massive wheels was divided into 3 independently spinning sections, providing actually quite good manoeuvrability ? at least for a vehicle that size. The size of the wheels also meant that it was less susceptible to sinking in soft ground than the walkers of the Zarinfel Republic as even with its massive bulk the weight was much more evenly distributed.

It was well equipped indeed for this role ? the capacity for up to 300 troops made it a very effective transport, far more so than the AT-TE; the heavy laser cannon (which would actually later be copied and improved on in the AT-AT to be one of the most powerful ever used in a ground assault vehicle) was devastating against enemy vehicles, buildings and fixed weapon emplacements; the two medium blaster cannons swept aside enemy infantry with ease; the twin double light blasters covered the front end against infantry attack; the missile launchers here highly effective against more or less anything within their effective range of 30 km; and the repeating blaster cannon provided cover fire for disembarking troops. It was also able to achieve speeds of up to 160 km/h when going full pelt along flat ground, could carry provisions for 20 days and fuel for 30,000 km and was almost 50 m long. All in all, the Juggernaut was very well chosen as the backbone of the ground forces of the Grand Army of the Republic.

At least a dozen A6 Juggernauts saw action in the Battel of Zargonia Prime near the end of the Unification wars, and continued in the service of the Zarinfel Empire, though they would be largely relegated to support roles in unimportant battles and during the Outer Rim marches. Although most replaced by the Imperial All-Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) which sported stronger armor plating and could traverse a wider variety of terrain, the Juggernaut still retained advantages in versatility against multiple targets.

The TX-130S Fighter Tank was an ultra?maneuverable, super fast vehicle.It is equipped with fairly weak lasers and a relatively large payload of concussion missiles. It has a limited speed boost to get out of tight combat situations. It is equipped with a fairly powerful optical zoom. Using this, it can snipe enemies from a distance.

The ISP (standing for Infantry Support Platform, but the vehicle was most often called simply the Swamp Speeder) was a medium-weight, highly mobile and very fast repulsor vehicle deployed on many worlds to provide anti-infantry and limited anti-vehicle support. Manned by a crew of 2 highly-trained Troopers, the Swamp Speeder zipped around on the battlefield delivering punishing blows from its dual twin blaster cannons and using its high maneuverability to dodge enemy fire.Designed primarily for use on marshy or swampy worlds where conventional walkers would be less effective, the ISP came into use after the Republic suffered resounding defeats in their campaigns to take muddy Jabinal and similar worlds mid-way through the Unification Wars. Unaffected by the worst terrain due to its powerful repulsorlifts, it was primarily offensive in function as it relied on speed to keep out of harm?s way due to a substantial lack of armor. Fixing this craft to a static point often resulted in heavy losses.While under equipped for defensive missions, the ISP excelled at hit-and-run attacks on slow moving infantry or light vehicle targets. Swooping in from apparently nowhere, the Swamp Speeder would zip past a target while showering it with laser blasts and zooming away before weapons could be brought to bear. While it was best when dealing with light ground troops, the slightly oversized laser cannons packed enough punch to penetrate the armor on such targets as Zargoras Rouge Alliance NR-N99 Tank Droids and the vehicle was agile enough to take down even a HMP Droid Gunship that had its shields up. The ISP was also good at patrol duties, cruising along at up to 100 km/h thanks to its large primary turbofan engine (which could also reverse thrust to allow the vehicle to maneuver more easily) while the pilots scanned the terrain for threats. ISPs were deployed on such worlds as Malcar and Denzonia, though they were also used on many others.

The Semarune Federation's Heavy Artillery Gun or Mortar Tank as they are more commonly known within the ranks of the Republic military are an upgraded version of the AAT, or Armored Assault Tank. As well as an armor upgrade, they also are refitted to fire mortars. Countless numbers of HAGs were used in the earlier stages of the Unification Wars and were used to bombard the enemy with a full load of 120 mortars. One shot from their guns could destroy a Republic troop transport, and in concentrated numbers they were deadly to any Republic armor. The Republic answer was the AT-XT, which did not get into mass-production but was deadly, with mortar grenades and plasma shields. Despite this, the HAGs continued to see action at conflicts like Battle of Thule. They were present at the Battle of Zeno Mangor and were firing on the Zeno Mangor Outpost and their turrets, but they were destroyed one by one by Rhys Dallows, Nym, Vana Sage, Reti and Jenkins. But before the AT-XT was deployed, it was a dangerous foe to ground-based stationary enemies and outposts.

The AT-OT (All Terrain Open Transport) is a walker employed by the Tagirian Republic for overland transport.Designed almost exclusively for transport behind friendly lines, the AT-OT's passengers are vulnerable to attack from above but are protected from attacks from the sides. The cockpit, however, is totally encased in armor. Though not meant for combat, the AT-OT has two forward mounted laser cannons and 2 rear mounted laser cannons. The bed is designed to fit 34 clone troopers, but can fit more if needed. AT-OT walkers stand 14.3 meters long and 5.8 meters tall.

While similar to the AT-TW or AT-AT, it is slower than the AT-TW and smaller than the AT-AT. It was deployed in the Battle of Genogarus to assist gunships and mobile assault cannons (in this case the TLH) After the Unification Wars, they were deployed on Zelonia with General Dargos Felcore. Along with most of the republic's other heavy walkers, it was manufactured by Rothana Heavy Engineering, a subsidiary company under the ZCY Umbrella.

The All Terrain Advance Raider (or AT-AR) is shaped like the AT-ST. It has less firepower, though, with only one heavy laser cannon. It does, however, run faster than the AT-ST and is more heavily armored. Larger than the AT-ST, it stands at 12 meters. This allows for two crewmen in a large cockpit, as large as an AT-AT; and there is available space in the back for cargo, soldiers, or facilities for long trips for the crew. Deployed on jungle, forest, and ice worlds, this vehicle was deployed at the Battle of Hoth along with its fellow AT-ST, and AT-AT.

The Aratech 74-Z speeder bike was the Republic?s primary reconnaissance and light scout/anti-personnel vehicle of the Unification Wars.It was much faster and more maneuverable than its Semarune Federation's equivalent, the STAP, and packed almost the same amount of firepower. It was primarily carried by AT-TE/i or AT-TE/v troop gunships and dropped when below the repulsor engines? maximum height capability. The 74-Z could perform many roles, from scouting to anti-personnel ?mop-up? operations to getting information to and from isolated outposts with no comm capability, being used as a makeshift field ambulance and even performing hit-and-run sabotage missions against highly defended enemy targets. The 74-Z could also boost power to the repulsorlift engines for a short time, resulting in incredibly powerful quick bursts of speed used for things like getting out of a particularly sticky situation or catching up to a fast-fleeing enemy. However, if the pilot boosted for too long he could risk a complete engine burnout, and while boosting, power to other systems like the inertial compensator and blasters was dropped substantially. While moving so quickly this gave the speeder bikes the ability to jump short gaps with ease.


The Hailfire droid is a lethal war vehicle constructed by the Idorian Trading Clan. The droid is a self-aware mobile missile platform and is capable of destroying entire platoons of enemy soldiers. It is also known as the Wheel droid and is well equipped with missile launchers fitted on each side of its head. Each missile launcher could fire 15 rocket warheads, each of which had the destructive capability to destroy an AT-TE walker. If the Hailfire droid's supply of missiles ran out, it is also equipped with a long range medium-powered laser cannon. Hailfire droids worked extremely well as anti-aircraft weapons, and destroyed some of the Republic Gunships at the Battle of . The vehicle also ran on large hoop-like wheels on either side of the body which enabled it to operate on every land terrain. Before the Unification Wars, the hailfire droid was used by the IDC to punish customers who had declined to pay their debts.

The OG-9 Homing Spider Droid is an automated droid vehicle. Built by the Narfin Trading Guild, was one of the mainstays of the Confederacy armed forces. Deadly to both ground and air units, these dangerous droids were one of the biggest threats that the Zarinfel Republic had to face. Striding across the battlefield on 4 huge, piston-like legs, it could traverse mountainous terrain, deserts, and forests and was only thwarted by swamps or deep water.The armament was deadly in the extreme: 1 heavy-duty homing laser underneath for use against all manner of larger ground targets and one smaller top mounted laser to shoot down aircraft and smaller, faster ground vehicles like Speeder bikes. Not only was it powerful, it was also unusual: the armament was an actual laser instead of a blaster. Lasers are beams of extremely focused light, rather than blaster technology which uses magnetically-sealed ?bolts? of ionized gas and energy. This means that the destructive energy came out of the focusing dish as a beam which continued until it dissipated somewhere far off in the distance. It hit its target at light-speed, providing no chance for the target to dodge or avoid the beam, either. Lasers also assured accuracy ? they did not move or jolt at all when fired and, as the term ?laser-straight? shows, they were perfectly aligned. When combined with the highly sensitive Parallax homing dishes, which detected with a high degree of accuracy the presence and position of enemies, the weapons placed on this droid were some of the most lethal used by a ground vehicle in the Clone Wars. Laser or not, the beam could tear through armor like tissue paper and in the Battle of Geonosis groups of Spider Droids managed to decimate whole contingents of Republic AT-TEs.

The OG-9 utilized a powerful reactor to supply the intense, sustained energy needs of its homing lasers. This reactor was kept safe inside the armored central body core; however, if this was breached the reactor would destabilize and detonate in a massive explosion, vaporising anything in the immediate vicinity of the droid and dealing blast damage to things a bit farther away.When this deadly machine was combined with the Dwarf Spider Droid a formidable advance attack could be made. This was because the lasers of the Homing Spider Droid were mounted on a body held high up in the air by the legs, so when it was positioned behind a line of it?s shorter cousins, Dwarf Spider Droids, it could fire without fear of hitting anything friendly. When combined with a battalion of infantry such as Battle and Super Battle Droids, it took seriously strong enemy lines to resist such an integrated, deadly wall of firepower.They did have their weaknesses, though more than once, groups of Troopers on 74-Zs rushed at groups of Spider Droids too fast for their weapons to track and threw limpet mines onto their casing as they passed by. Otherwise, Spider Droids were one of the most lethal battlefield units ever to enter service in the Unification Wars.

The All Terrain Attack Pod is a three-legged evolution of the AT-PT walker. Considered a tank destroyer/assault gun, it would usually play a support role. Its two primary legs were used for walking, while the third leg hung underneath the fuselage and would be extended during combat to help stabilize the walker when it took aim and fired its main cannon or when the walker was crossing uneven terrain.The AT-AP is operated by 3 clone troopers at a time. Two in the cabin and a third operating a top-mounted projectile cannon, similar to the one mounted on top of the AT-TE. In addition, it is armed with a large projectile cannon fixed in the front of the craft which was very powerful but required the whole walker to align it self to aim. Rounding off the armament was a medium blaster cannon mounted at the bottom of the main fuselage. It had average armor on the front and sides but lacked it in the rear.Often issued with Republic mechanized infantry forces, walkers of this type saw action at the Battle of Zaronia and the Battle of Zelonia, where most valued for the level of the terrain. Which in turn leveled the battle feild.

When the Tagirian Imperials crafted the Zen class strike fighter the Tagirian Rebels (who later returned to the Tagirian Empire) respond by constructing the T-wing. The Vargonia, supervised by Admiral Lycan Tamr`al , design and arm the fighter to engage capitol class ships. The T-wing's gyrostabilized cockpit allows the pilot to maintain a consistent horizon while the craft's body rotates around it.T-wings participated at the Battle of Zarinfel near the end of the Civil war.

Approximately 41 feet in length. Hyperspace capable and with a top speed of 5,025 mph in atmosphere. ARC-wings have pairs of wing-like stabilizer foils, or S-foils, mounted at the rear of the craft. Normally these foils are locked flush against each other allowing for greater speed, but less maneuverability. During combat however, the foils are deployed, increasing the spread coverage of the laser cannons mounted at the tips of the foils, maneuverability, and to better dissipate waste heat, at the cost of some speed. This is also what give the craft its distinctive ARC shape.

The cannons on some earlier models cannot be fired with the S-foils in locked position, a safety mechanism that helps to avoid S-foil damage from the laser cannons' intense heat. An attempted jump into hyperspace with the S-foils open will also likely cause extreme damage to the ship. This was also the ARC-wing's greatest weakness. For a pilot wanting to escape from an intense battle, he or she would have to close the S-foils first before going into hyperspace. This would leave a short period of time of leaving the ARC-wing defenseless against attacks.

Many ARC-wing pilots lost their lives this way when their craft was shot to pieces after closing their S-foils. The T-Wing also suffered from this weakness, but due to stronger shields it was more than likely able to take a few hits and survive before going into hyperspace.

Though it is very maneuverable, the ARC-wing is best known for carrying four powerful laser cannons, along with launcher tubes for proton torpedoes. The lasers are so powerful that crescent shaped shields had to be fitted behind the barrel tip to reflect energy and thus prevent the weapon from damaging itself.

Other warheads such as concussion missiles can be fired from the launchers, but this requires a considerable amount of time and effort on the part of the technical crews, and the overall versatility of the proton torpedo is ideally suited to the ARC-wing's varied mission profile. On certain occasions the ARC Wing can also be loaded with dye markers to mark certain areas or things with colored dye and on rarer occasions the ARC-Wing can be fitted with an ion cannon. This provided with a much better firing control system

Single fire, where each laser cannon fires individually but in a constant sequence. This setting provides the pilot with the highest rate of fire but generally will lack the high impact of having all the ARC-wing's lasers strike at once. This mode was most likely the best for Rebel pilots when dealing with the agile Imperial Zen Fighter, considering the TIE's well-documented fragility and complete lack of shielding, or with ground forces, in which quantity of fire superseded quality of fire.

Dual fire, (or dual-offset fire as it is known by pilots) where two laser cannons, one on each side, pair up and fire in an alternating sequence. While decreasing the overall rate of fire, dual fire mode naturally increases the damage potential of each attack due to the increase power put into each dual laser blast.

Quad fire, where all four laser cannons (one at each foil-tip) fire together. This fire mode greatly reduces the rate of fire but gives the X-wing's lasers their greatest punch. While the ARC-wing's laser cannons adjust for distance on every setting, it is most visible in this mode.

Stutter fire, where many underpowered bolts are fired. This modification was incorporated during the Zargonus Vornog invasion, to overwhelm their singularity defenses. Presumably also useful for anti-personnel purposes.

The fighter has cockpit space for one pilot, although later recon version of the ARC-Wing were modified for a 2 person crew. However these were quickly phased out due to cramped quarters that actually hindered the work rather than easing it. The ARC-wing was also assisted by an Astromech Droid (such as an R12 or R25 unit) in an external socket. The astromech monitors the status of the craft, can make limited emergency repairs and handles hyperspace calculations.
