The Wedding || The Flight From Corbin

He hadn't slept at all the entire trip in the cutter. Sunburst Orange eyes starred off into the ceiling of the royal chambers. The cutter glided through the air like silk in the wind. The Citadel was only a few kms away. The trip flew by quickly with his mind always having those gears turn. His hands were locked behind his head as he rested on the bed, Sarah by his side resting her gentle eyes till the trip was nearly over. The brotherhood had their corpse now, and they would pay dearly for the danger they had put his lover in. But with every ripple his core gave off when he used those powers, the brotherhood was alerted to their exact position.

Sarah had clung to him the entire time she was by his side. It took her some time to fall asleep, but when she did it wasn't a heavy sleep; she would sleep on high alert, just in case they had to move. It seemed her ears were poised to his movements. Each time he moved her arms would wrap tighter around him. She squeezed his form against her own and let her mind rest. Stay at ease until he had to wake her from her slumber. A content sigh would fall from her lips; finally glad to be ridded of that horrible stench and free from the underground world of the sewers. She was glad that she was safe and by his side once again. It was the only care on her mind.

He felt the cutter shake as they began to near aero-space territory owned by the Corbin Family. It was magnificent; his eyes loomed over to the window as he saw it there. The Citadel was huge, like a large spear pointing outward from the planet.. Blues, Oranges, and grays covered the exterior, the colors that let everyone know that they were apart of the Empire and this was their planet. Seemed the brotherhood didn't get the memo. A large holographic platform hovered around the spear shaped citadel like a halo; it was baby blue with reds and oranges. Just spinning around and around the tower, it looked as if its upper most point scratched the line that divided the earth from the heavens.

The cutter slowed to a cruise. The landing gear slowly extruding from the belly of the craft just in time for them to kiss the metallic platform in which they landed on. The platform was more like a large alloy table that came outward from the citadel tower. Senators, Guards, and of course family members of the Corbins waited at the platform entrance. Waiting to see a cousin of theirs that they haven't seen in well over 700 years; around the time of the 4th Nano War; sad times, and again, they were brought together because bad times. The Brotherhood, Dust could feel their cores pulse and ripple with excitement. He knew it wouldn't be long before the city below and around them would be overwhelmed with hooded idiots. He needed to make this meeting with the quick, and warn them while they still had a living chance.

It seemed as Dust had turned to look out the window Sarah had stirred. Her head remained still as he took in the Citadel. It wasn't that she didn't want to look at it, it was that something was nagging at her chest. She closed her eyes again, faking sleep until the time was right. Her arms tightened around him and for a moment it seemed as if she had drifted again.

Fear was gripping to her, holding onto her as she felt the tension in the air. The feeling of being watched came over her and she didn't care for it all that much. She buried her face in his chest and took in his scent. Trying for now to memorize everything she could about him. She didn't know when the next time would come that he would have to leave her side. It was tension at its best and she was trying not to let it grip a hold of her. Sarah had to stay strong for Dust.

Smooth, easy, it was an art the way the Captain of the Crimson Guard had landed the craft. Dust smiled. "Time to wake up darling. We've arrived." He raised his body up from his relaxation and looked to the door of the Royal Chambers. Snickering as the thought of using the door this time would ease Sarah's mind. It wouldn't a situation where they would need to separate again for a long time. But, just how long was that in Dust's mind? It was hard to gauge from a man who was the living definition of split second decisions and balancing out risk with safety.

He got up and looked to the Core Cells he had worked on hours before. Hoping they would do some sort of good, reaching his hand out for his and then thinking about not using his powers. He felt like he was reduced to a mere everyday joe. He scooted to the edge of the bed and grabbed the Core Cell and fitted it to his body like a blanket of air. The Cell ceiled shut over his frame as he laid back down next to Sarah. Placing a kiss to her forehead and nudging her a bit. "Looks like we're expected.. I always liked promptness."

Sarah finally felt the need to be roused by her beloved. Sighing she hugged him close before finally loosing her grip on him. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and whispered lightly," So glad we made it safely..." Again she would rub at her eyes and sit up a bit to watch him. She took in the Core Cells and nodded, knowing that they were for her safety. Sarah slowly leaned over his figure and gripped at hers. She brought it to her form so it could settle and wrap around her figure.

She managed to whisper to him after he spoke," Good. I like when things move quickly... especially when chaos seems to be the theme..." Her hand moved to her head and she scratched at it slightly. Her eyes finally opened up to look into his. Smiling softly to him, she turned to look out the window. She draped an arm around his torso, nuzzling his chest and squeezing him tightly. Her figure still close to his as she whispered," How long do you think we'll be safe here?"

"Not for long, that's for sure." He looked to the Door of the Chambers as he walked to it, opening it quickly, wanting to get off the Cutter before anything else unexpected happened. "I would hate to wait around to find out though." Looking out the door he saw the Captain rush off the cutter and onto the platform, giving Dust a quick salute on the way out. "Come along darling."

He walked out the door and waited on the loading cargo ramp for her. He could see some of his family members standing on the platform patiently for the two of them. He had only glanced at them for a moment before looking back through the chamber doors to Sarah. Not wanting to be separated again. "To be sure we don't foolishly use our powers to the extent of alert to the brotherhood.. I outfitted the Cells with regulators to keep use from using such high amounts of energy. I think it's safer that way."

She was moving out after him, brushing her hair to say the least. Sarah was trying to keep a good impression to Dust's family while biting her lip. Her eyes focused on him as she stopped and joined his side. Listening to his every word with a light nod and a whisper," I do hope nothing terrible happens. At least hope we have enough time for what we're here for."

Her hand moved to his arm and she squeezed at it softly. Hugging him close while she turned to look at the platform," Do you think that they'll like me?" The normal nervousness of Sarah was back as she turned to look back up to him. Biting her lip once more and nodding to his words," Just in case, keep core powers to a minimum unless it is direly important that I do so. Got it." A firm nod was given to him and she took a deep breath, calming herself," Ready."

Alright. He thought to himself as they both walked down the ramp together. The family, senators and others stood there with smiles on their faces. Seemed word hadn't reached them yet and they were completely unaware of what was going on and what was coming to get them all. It was the greatest evil of the likes that no one has seen in over 700 years.

'DUST! Cousin... It's been far too long! What made you want to come to Corbin on such short notice, you know you could have contacted us.' A woman spoke out to him in an array of excitement. She was tall and slender, wearing a women?s business suit, black in color with that matching mini skirt type style. Grey hair was pulled back in a braid; black rimmed glasses barely hugged at her the bridge of her nose, obviously for looks. Her Orange eyes looked to her brother, Sa'tith.

He also was excited and simply asked, "Why are you here Dust? You know you never payed me back that 7 mill of credits you used to modify your orbital racer..." A serious face played part there more than anything.

Dust smiled and looked to the two of them.. "Sa'tith.. you and your money. Don't worry I'll pay it back." He looked to his cousin Tori and smiled, "Well you never seem to age do you? Always looking beautiful as ever." Looking to the both of them now, a smile crawled across his face.. "I needed a change of scenery. You know me, never can stay in one place for too long." He looked to Sarah and smiled then jumped as if thoughts were attacking his brain like killer bees, "I'm sorry, where are my manners?" Looking around as if he really lost his manners, " This is Sarah, we came here to become married couples... as soon as possible."

Everyone lost their smiles and looked to Dust like he was kidding, he was never known to be the sort of guy to settle down and live the easy life. More like the kind of man in love with his ego trips and power hungry persona. "No.. seriously.. like before the end of the world.."

They still thought he was just kidding around until Tori noticed Sarah's Orange eyes, She yelled out at Dust in a playful manner 'In the name of Aya! What have you done Dust?' whispering with her hand in front of her mouth so Sarah wouldn't notice, 'you did you know what with a you know who and turned her into a you know what?' She held a proud smile on her face, remembering Dust always being the one to be the better of the family members, always being right, never getting into trouble, and finally Tori had something she could pick on him about.

"Yes, we did have sex... on numerous occasions.. And yes she is now a celestial core.. and yes I love her... and yes we want to get married, have children, settle down on a nice little planet and have a little dog or something...." He gave that blank stare to Tori and cracked a smile.

Sa'Tith shot a glance to Dust and smiled, 'Well, congratulations. Let's get you guys inside and married!" He looked to Sarah and smiled, sticking a hand out and bowing his head, 'It is an honor to meet you, I am Sa'Tith Corbin of the Three Houses of the Empire. But you probably already knew that.' Smiling and then looking to his sister, clearing his throat.

Tori looked to Sarah and gave a lady like bow, 'Truly a pleasure, I am Tori Corbin of... well you know..'

Sarah just reminded herself to stay close to Dust through all this. Her eyes were on each cousin in turn as they exchanged words with Dust. She noted the female and smiled, wondering if her hair would turn silver like that eventually, she so far had retained her golden strands, at least for now. When they spoke of the space racer she turned her head to look at Dust, making note that sometime he'd have to tell her this story. She blinked as she was introduced. Smiling softly and nodding to each in turn kindly.

As he announced that they were to be married as soon as possible she in a way was reminded of the hurry in the situation. But it was more of a startle when they didn't take Dust seriously. She wanted to ask, but for now she was being polite and not interrupting as Dust took the lead. When Tori spoke up about him doing you know what with her she blinked again and looked up to her beloved once again. Trying to make sense of all this before the introductions were made. She was still smiling to his words about children, a planet, and eventually a dog... or something.

She bowed her head and extended her hand to Sa'Tith while he spoke. As he mentioned that they were of the Corbin family she tried to make it seem like she knew what they were talking about. It seemed important to have at least the air of intelligence when dealing with the Corbins, though granted she was sure one slip would come and they'd have a field day eating her for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; or at least Dust. She swallowed and decided it would be best to speak on careful manners," Sarah Anne S... err... Belarus... Soon to be wife to Dust..." She gulped and prayed that she was doing this right. Her other hand was gripping at Dust's arm, trying not to grip him too hard with her nails.

Senators, Executive Business men and the two Corbins turned around casually and led Dust and Sarah into the Citadel. 'So tell me Dust-darling. What sort of trouble have you been getting yourself into lately? Are you still trying to rule the universe all by yourself? Is Syn still trying to be a ninja? How's Ash been doing?'

Dust interrupted Tori quickly and tried to speak out quickly knowing the Corbins loved to talk quick and didn't care for what others tried to say in a conversation so long as they managed to control the conversation, "Actually Tori, Ash is_____"

Like Corbins always did, they cut him off and took over the conversation, 'Come now sis, you know Dust, always a loner, trying to take on that Nano Empire all by himself. You know Dust, one day you?re going to find yourself in a situation you won't be able to find yourself out of. By the way, the rest of the family is going to be thrilled to see your back planet side.'

He shot out in front of the large group walking down the creamy colored hall and put a hand out in front of them letting them know to shut up and listen. "First off.......Yes, Tori, I am always getting myself into trouble, I like to get myself into risky situations so that it challenges me to be better than all the rest,so that when the time comes to face the Nano Empire, I will be ready... Second, I've become Emperor, and Sarah is my Empress. Syn is a ninja damn it! And Ash has been dead for nearly 4 months now, the Nano Empire has consumed most of the Core Worlds and there are only a hand full left untouched. That's why I'm here..... I Want to get married.. and the Priesthood is here too. They nearly cover the streets and are all making their way here. So if you wouldn't mind, cut the bull #$%^&* and the pleasantries and take me to your father. I have to speak with him." He didn't want to be an ass hole, but it seemed like the only way to get his words across and let them be informed of the current events.

Businessmen and Senators were speechless. Sa'Tith and Tori looked blankly at Dust knowing he spoke the truth. 'Well that would explain the Universal Depression that hit our markets.' Sa'Tith commented. Tori looked to Dust and Sarah and grabbed their hands, 'follow me, I'll take you straight to my father, he should be in the high chambers right now.

Sarah was silent as she moved along side Dust. When they asked about Ash her gut twisted in her stomach and she looked to Dust, even as she moved. She could tell that they weren't going to stop talking when he only got four words out. Sighing and letting him slip from her hands to counter the group. As he spoke there was a moment where Sarah smiled, but that was before Dust spoke of his brother.

She swallowed softly and lowered her head with a sigh. Not sure what to say or do to be of help and support for her beloved. When Tori took her hand she lifted her head up. Her mind raced about over the last few months with Dust. She sucked in a soft breath and turned to look as Dust while they moved onwards," I think Syn is a ninja too..."

She nodded lightly and smiled weakly to him. Her free hand moved to take his as she looked back to Tori and Sa'Tith, trying to think of a way to at least ease some tension. She wasn't sure how much more she could take. Her lips parted and she thought for a moment before speaking up," Other than the Depression has there been an increase of any stock throughout the Empire." Sarah wasn't sure what she was saying, but she hoped it would keep them from panicking before Dust got his words in with their father.

'Actually, we've had an increase in Arms Tech and exportation of grown meat goods.' Sa'Tith smiled to Sarah and could tell she was a good person, intelligent, and a perfect match for Dust.

They now walked quickly, upping the pace to get to the air lift that would take them to the high chambers room. Large golden blast door hissed open, revealing a red and gold interior that looked simply stunning, "I can see you've redecorated the place." Dust said as he stepped in along with the other three. He looked to Sarah and smiled, elevators seemed to be one of those romantic spots that always were interrupted by some odd event or people.

Tori looked to Sarah, 'I can feel your core pulse.. why?' She was curious, but was the absence of a pulse because of the suit or because of her ascension to a celestial core?

Dust looked to Tori and smiled, "Probably because of our suits."

Tori wasn't stupid or born yesterday, she eyed the suits and saw the Aya flowers on them, Dust's Signet ring and Sarah?s crown, he wasn't lying, they did become the rulers of the Empire. She was happy for them both, But she couldn't help noticing the model of Cell uniforms they wore... 'Core Cells?' She whispered to her brother.

Sa'Tith quickly gazed over the suits and looked back to his sister and whispered, 'Is it possible? Celestials?'

Dust looked from Sarah to Tori and Sa'Tith, "You know I'm standing right here, right?"

The two of them seemed to snap to attention almost and then slapped on a smile, 'Sorry, we were just curious about your uniforms. Did you notice you had gears on yours, Dust?' Tori pointed out the designs on his Cell; It looks like a series of gears over his chest, exactly designed over his core. Three of them, a large one, medium one, and a small one, all of their teeth fitting into one another to form a small simple gear like trinity.

He hadn't noticed it before, it was probably because it was white and blended in so well with the rest of his suit. He looked to Sarah to see she also had the same design in the same place. He snickered for a moment and thought about his father, "Wish you could see me now." He said under his breath.

As like clockwork the air lift reached the top of the citadel. A glass spherical room was there, the ball shaped room was placed on barring so it could rotate and spin freely. But how could it move freely if the tower was planted into the ground like a sword. It would take a lot of brute force and energy in order to move the citadel tower.

Sarah's jaw dropped at the all gold display. Her eyes were wide as she looked over it all with Sunburst hues. She turned back to look towards Dust. Her fingers laced with his, easier to keep a hold of him that way. She was drawing in a deep breath and processing all of it the best she could in such a short amount of time. When they moved onto the elevator her eyes moved to give off a flat look, could it be she was still peeved for that little interruption. Obviously.

She was snapped to when Tori spoke up about her Core Pulse. For a moment she had thought she had died, but she remembered what Dust had told her before they moved onto the platform. Nodding she was playing ping pong trying to take in everything they were saying. When she was looked over by Tori she just resolved to stand there silently like a statue until the ride was over. But that died fast as she looked to Dust's Core Cell.

The gears in full view made her step back and just admire his figure in its fullest. She had to remind herself that now was not the place to begin drooling, nor was it the time for her to be all stammers and stutters. Nope. She turned to look forwards again. Her mind racing as she rubbed a thumb over Dust's hand slowly.

She smiled to Dust's presence besides her. Glad she was taking these steps with him and excited all in the same. She squeezed his hand as the room came into view. She looked around and then up to Dust, waiting for him to take the lead whenever it was time to. She reminded him in that moment with another squeeze that she wasn't leaving his side for anything.

A glance of comfort was shot to Sarah as he held her hand, knowing that nothing should come between the two of them. A man floated at the center of the room, old, and gray. Long silver hair fell to the center of his back and a long grey beard came to the center of his chest. "You may pass!" The old man?s voice was thunderous and full of a loving sort of authority.

"Grand Master Corbin, It is an honor to see you again." Dust smiled up to the man, feeling that warm fuzziness inside like he just stepped into the presence of his father.

"I know why your here, Dust." The man said, "To be wedded yes... But I know you have changed, you feel different somehow but don't know why. You?ve been seeing visions of your forgotten past, yes. I would love to talk in cryptic riddles, but us Corbins are known to get straight to the point."

Dust held Sarah's hand and stepped forward looking to the man as he withdrawn cables and cords from his body that were linked to him, he was the power and the brain that kept the Citadel alive and powered up. The old man floated downwards to the floor and looked over Dust and Sarah. The Grand Master was in a white robe decorated in gear shaped designs and Aya flowers. "Now, Dust. I haven't seen you since you were no higher than my knee." The old man chuckled, "...And you must be Sarah. It truly is a grand pleasure to meet you young lady. Now... you both are serious about being married, yes?"

Dust shot another glance to Sarah and smiled.. "Yes, we do."

Swallowing Sarah made sure she nodded to his glance. Stepping alongside him and looking up to the man. She was in awe instantly with that presence. His thunderous call through the room almost made her quake, but she stood firm by Dust's side none the less. Seeing Dust smile she smiled softly, knowing that he was feeling some sort of happiness made her just as happy.

Her eyes turned back to the man as he spoke, her pulse skipping a beat as she heard him speak of her being wed to Dust. She listened and wondered over several things at once. Why was it they both felt so different to the others? She wasn't sure, but she knew sooner or later she would find out. As the man stepped forwards she squeezed Dust's hand and bit her lip. She was trying not to look nervous in such a fatherly figure to Dust.

She bowed her head and smiled when she was greeted. When he asked her eyes turned to Dust and then back to Grand Master Corbin with a dazzling, happy go lucky smile," Of course we do." She said after Dust, still holding his form close to her as she moved her free hand to rest against Dust's forearm. Swallowing lightly she turned her gaze back to Dust for a moment, still wearing that smile as her excitement grew.

"Then since you both agree, I will start the ceremony, it is quick and painless." He clapped his hands together and rubbed them together for a brief moment. The last time he had witnessed this was when Dust's father wedded Ash and Aya. He placed a hand on either of their foreheads and smiled greatly as he felt honored and proud of the two of them taking this next step into their timeless journey.

At ground Zero where the Citadel met the ground of the city, it was dark. Crowded more like it, the dark and ominous chants of monks could be heard aloud, synchronized with one another. They joined hands to form a human wall, slowly the chanting become louder and louder as they began to crowd around the outer walls that made up the citadel. Their chants shook the citadel until it felt like light tremors were shaking the whole thing apart.

The old man closed his eyes as he began to speak in the old tongues of the Imperial Cores, sounding like raspy sizzles of an old electronic bot that could not speak a solid word yet. But his words were clear; the chanting of his own words matched that of the monks outside in measurement of volume. Dust closed his eyes as he faced Sarah, both his hands locked in grip with hers.

Dust tried not to smile as he spoke the words aloud for everyone to hear, ?Timekurai Foirentsal, Biy Ridi? Sarah, I love you and always will till the end of time itself and beyond. My core is yours? dirguuf sidekuajhifusfiv.. Elz Mirkondof, Miikainkah Derz mikorai.. Core, Love, Aya, dihaald safavuhidikah saijn?. I Do!?

He could feel the golden floor leave his feet as the Grand Master, Sarah, and him-self began to float into the air and into the center of the spherical room. The lights died down and electricity sparked the walls, arches of lightening began to leap from one side of the room to the other in beautiful streams of blue, orange, and red.

The ground shook around the Citadel and began to cave in, monks falling into a hot pit of magma like liquid and dissolving into flames almost instantly. But still, all the monks continued to chant and hug at the metal tower trying to keep it from moving, or leaving the ground. Yet, it still moved, not falling to either side, but actually moving upwards into the sky at a snail?s pace.

The Redstar Fleet flew above in orbit, circling around to form a large flock of ships gliding about like a school of fish or vultures circling about waiting for its prey to die off. But they were doing something else, they were forming kinetic energy above the Citadel, like that halo hologram platform that spun around the tower, they too did the same. Electricity, fusion, and plasma began to form in streams of light from the outer most area of the fleet of circling ships was aimed and directed to the tip of the tower; now looking like the spokes on a bicycle wheel.

Cables and cords of all shapes and sizes came from the walls and plugged themselves in directly to the Grand Master. His life support was back online for the tower, his core charging and nearly going into an over drive like state. His hands still placed on the foreheads of Dust and Sarah as they held hands.

The Citadel still lifted and was nearing the height where they were clear of the monks, but like the brotherhood they were relentless, they hugged hard at the tower and the large crowds of dozens of hundreds of monks were lifted off the ground. From afar they looked like one giant body reaching out to grab hold of the spear and bring it crashing back down to the earth.

?Chaskkkkk__intlimintriantzzzzzzzzzzz? Baphintorip Elz biy dorijuf djsoaiiiiiiiii? Contristol Beckoi-tchunn biy Contristol Beckoi-tchunn biy mikorai Elz gerzzzzzzz_aiiiiiiii?. Dorimikianasijumalikai-ah, Biy, Ridi, Ridi, Ridi, Dust?? The Grand Master was now speaking to Sarah.

The beams of lightening, fusion, and plasma coming off from the ships as they circled became more concentrated and direct, becoming more powerful and full of energy. The sky was painted literally purple, orange, and a creamy pink. The Monks losing their grip of the tower as it climbed into the upper atmosphere. All the brown robed monks found themselves hundreds of meters in the air; falling with no chance of survival.

It was all happening at once. The monks were being liberated on the planet, the Citadel was apparently a large spear shaped ship. The Redstar Fleet was forming some sort of portal above the Citadel. Dust and Sarah were being wedded.

Their Core Cells peeled away from their chest and revealed their skin, muscle, and alloy frames shifting to reveal their cores. A blackened one laid in the chest of Dust; a gold and silver designed one laid in the chest of Sarah. Both of them sprouted outward like tree limbs to meet each other in the middle, forming, molding, sharing; until there was no core in either of their chests and just one Core floating between them; blackened, with silver and gold designs nicely decorating the entire sphere.

The three of them floated there in the center of the spherical room, forming a trinity between the three of them with a core floating in the middle. Still Electrical bolts were leaping from wall to wall, barely missing them. His voice boomed and became louder as it sounded like 10 of him were chanting all at once. The words were all there, all that was needed was those chants and words from Sarah lips.

Sarah was unaware of anything other than that moment. Feeling the fingers on her head she sucked in a breath, knowing at once what was to happen. She turned when Dust turned to face him, clasping hands with him and putting faith in the events to come. As the Grand Master spoke she swallowed, for good measure squeezing Dust's hands. Hearing those words, hearing those strange words she wasn't sure she could understand she closed her eyes tightly; her figure standing before Dust as he began to respond.

She wasn't sure what to do or say. And as they floated upwards she exhaled, relaxing almost instantly. She was taking this all rather well, considering other times where she had... not taken it so well. As her Core Cell slid from her figure and her core slid from her chest she squeezed at Dust's hand, feeling excitement growing to its peak.

They were waiting on her and she was nervous of not getting it right. When silence drew around her, her lips parted and she swallowed. Not, for once not holding back. Words formed from her lips as she hovered by Dust and the Grand Master's side," Timekurai Foirentsal, Biy Ridi? Dust, I love you and always will till the end of time itself and beyond. My core is yours? dirguuf sidekuajhifusfiv.. Elz Mirkondof, Miikainkah Derz mikorai.. Core, Love, Aya, dihaald safavuhidikah saijn?. I Do!"

In her mind she was praying she had said that right. She didn't want to screw this up, she wanted a life with Dust, always and forever. Her heart ached for this. Sarah wanted to share the rest of her eturnity with him, wanted to share her future and coming life with him. She wanted to walk step in step, have children, and be happy with Dust Belarus. More and more she was afraid, afraid that she had done that wrong. That before she even had the chance she was going to lose him.

She had said the words. The Grand Master smiled as he said the ending to his chants, ?Balamgazzzz_triniltikah.. tendrillllipifihjinah, paylioustus kentorum, bezkai.. Elz mor, Elz dur, Elz pheeylijurah. I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU HUSBAND AND WIFE! EMPEROR AND EMPRESS OF THE CORE EMPIRE FOR ALL TIME TO COME!?

At that moment he let his hands come off from their foreheads and allowed their bodies to float towards each other. The core in the middle of them as their bodies pressed up against each other, their opened chests forming one room with the one core sharing both of their bodies, Dust leaned towards her, his lips matching hers and locking for that final moment to seal the vows. Just as his lips touched hers, the core split down the middle, forming their own two individual cores and shooting in the opposite direction like an atom when it splits to create an atomic explosion.

A solid black one with silver lining hit the inner of his chest. His alloy frame, muscles, tissue, and Core Cell ceiled up and shot him back against the wall. While the exact same had happened to Sarah, tarring them apart for just a moment. Her Core was Gold with silver and black lining. Just as their cores disconnected from one another and they had given that final kiss everything went off like clockwork. The bottom of the Citadel lit up like an atomic explosion, filling the city with massive amounts of pressure, energy, heat, and black smoke. The Spear was shot upwards at a great amount of speed.

The Monks below were burned and vaporized in the blast and most of the city was in deep ruin, luckily the city was evacuated after the brotherhood had announced their uninvited visit. High Above in the heavens of orbit the ships of the Empires Red Star Fleet circled faster nearing that breaking point between zero gravitational sling shot and hyper warp.

The spokes they created of electricity, fusion, and plasma consumed the halo they created and opened up a unique portal made up of a inverted black hole, instead of things being sucked up into it, instead flung things outwards from its centre. The planet itself was pushed out of orbit around the three suns, But the Spear, shot forward, letting itself go against its current and disappearing completely into its black depths.

Sarah could have danced if she wasn't so eager to feel her Husband's lips. Husband, her core would have skipped a beat if it wasn't finalizing their union with his core. She could feel his figure coming closer, his figure leaning towards her. She couldn't contain her smile, it was so large and glittering that she was sure to blind someone below watching, if there was any.

When their chests came together, when their lips touched, oh, she was soaring. The core that came back to her felt finally whole and complete within her chest. Pumping and beating at quick beats, skipping every now and again while she swooned to the gentle caress of his lips against hers. She didn't care if thousands, hundreds of thousands of the monks died at this point.

Dust had given them a body and now for a few moments, perhaps they could have some peace before they came for her. She was a new wife, his wife. She felt joy at just the thought. Now she could truly go by the name of Mrs. Dust Belarus. It was pure bliss and she couldn't think of any moment better than this one. Sharing it with him and taking those steps to the rest of their lives as one. With him. Always with him.
