Hello!

This folder is dedicated to September Merths' journeys between Rhy'Din, where she is currently living, her home of Ayenee and various intrepretations/analogies/metaphors for Hell, for Heaven, Perdition, Salvation. These states of being are as much a place and feeling as being an attitude of mind or spirit. Her interactions with people, including Yale, the devil, and the man who quite literally changed her path, her life, Gaul, are coming from this concept.

September's story, essentially, revolves around the quest she embarks on alone to save her Father, who has squandered much of the Merth family's savings and trusts trying to outdo, outwin and outsmart Yale, who in this narrative, is the personification and reflection of the Devil. By wearing his Gambler's heart on his sleeve and keeping no Aces there, he has subsequently, over the last few years lost pieces of his soul along with money, respect, popularity and love. This has been a formative aspect of Septembers' life, his eldest, as she has been exploited and pawned by her Father in his desperate case. Though this has happened, being of the headset and conviction she is, she decides that it is up to her to take this on and find a way to salvage her Father's soul, restore the Family to its place in society and not lose herself in the process. While unexpected, she retains much of who she is while losing her mortality. A twist in the tale...

So, with this flow of events, September is now reckoning with herself, the world, her Sire and Yale. The price is high, whichever turn she takes, and someone, likely herself, will have to pay. It's up to the readers own ideas as to whether sacrificing what she has in order to do what she knows must be done is indeed a compromise, as she thinks, to get closer to her goal, or if it is a tragedy waiting in the wings.

I hope you enjoy her story, and the many angles and slants it is yet to take.

Disclaimer:

Because I think it's best I forewarn.

I'm not planning on writing anything too ghoulish or ghastly, but then, this is a ghost story and involves bloodsuckers, so in case I feel its required, I'm covering my ass.

Some scenes written out might be visceral or graphic, and as I'm putting my story on show it's fair I let you know. I don't believe in gore for gore's sake, there's not much telling in it, but there will be some, and has already been in small doses.
