Cy was thinking over events as of late. One such event was when he attacked Glenn in the Red Dragon. The more he thought about it, the more he knew what he had done wasn't right. He didn't like how Glenn had treated Carley. Not at all. All interaction he saw between the two of them was indifference from Glenn that resulted in pain for Carley. Many things had been weighing on his mind at the time. How everyone was doing in Hurin Taurae was one of the major issues. Cy made an irritated noise as he sat at his work table in the one room apartment he was sharing with Carley. "Tch." Even if he had been wrong, he didn't want to apologize to Glenn for it. He still didn't like the woodworker. He doubted anything would change that. He had a rather plain looking piece of paper before him and one of the pencils he used primarily for sketching and drawing.

What could he write if not an apology? Cy leaned backward in his chair and tapped the pencil against the table. He was thinking. Well, he didn't have to really write anything. He could just dump some silvers into an envelope and leave it at that. He wasn't sure if Glenn would keep the money if he did that. He had to write *something* on the paper. Eventually, he did. It didn't require an entire sheet of paper for the message either. He tore off what he had used and left the rest of the sheet of paper for another time.

On his way home, he'd gotten a plain manila envelope and snatched one of the fliers advertising Glenn's business. The envelope was left on the kitchen counter. Cy got up to retrieve it. Any time he wondered why he disliked Glenn so much, it was Carley's forlorn face that appeared in the tall elf's mind. He simply couldn't forgive such callous treatment. Cy shook his head quickly. Dwelling on it wasn't going to make any positive difference. Once he'd opened the envelope he dropped the note he'd written into it, as well as a sum of twenty silvers. He figured that'd be enough. If it wasn't... well, he didn't particularly care to make up the difference.

He examined the address on the flyer. 55 Rue des Farfadets, Dragon's Gate District. Cy left the apartment and made sure to lock the door behind him. Given how people were wanton to barge into the place, he made sure to keep it locked each and every time he arrived and departed.

When he arrived, he had no intention to speak to Glenn. Cy didn't want to see him, and he doubted Glenn would welcome his presence. No, he simply stepped close to the building. When he saw the name of the store on the window, he knew it was the right place. He took his manila envelope and tried to shove it beneath one two industrial doors as best he could. After that, the tall elf left. The deed had been done.

The note he left in the envelope stated simply:

This is for your book.

Cy hadn't bothered to sign it.
