Tropicana Sands Arena would like to thank the owners of the registered stables both new and old. Below is a listing of current stable owners. We would like to invite all our stable owners to participate in our special pre-season race events. Any stable registered before Race Registration Deadlines is invited to participate, so it is not to late to register your stable.

Because this is a pre-season event Special rules have been set into place. There is no race registration fee, but betting will be open to the public.
Pre-season wins do not count towards this season's Win/Place/Show records, but points will be accumulated towards grading pegasi for the higher purse races.

Special Prizes will be awarded to winning stables in place of purses, as there are no stakes being placed for these races. Races will be posted Sunday at which time registration is open until Thursday.

(Open to both male and female pegasi)

Delicate Dame's Distaff
(A race for female pegasi only)
Course: Tropicana Sands

Dashing Dandy's Derby
(normally a Derby race is restricted to 3 year old colts, but because this is not an official season race an exception has been granted by the RPRA to older stallions)
Course: Tropicana Sands

Mystic Mountain Relay course description

The Mystic mountain relay is a 3 pegasi team race only runs at special events. Run in 3 legs and including endurance and acrobatic flying with special scoring rules. Points for the relay are awarded to the individual pegasi for avoiding soft projectiles fired at them in flight.

There is no purse for this weeks events, but points will still be awarded, along with prizes for the top three placers in each race.

Individual pegasi/ jockeys may be entered in up to 2 races each week, with an exception of the Relay as it is a three pegasi race. This means a pegasi could be entered in the handicap, the distaff/derby and the relay, but could not be entered in three regular races.

An omission was made when the race listings were posted which require some clarification. First, Stables are allowed to enter 2 pegasi into each race, and each pegasi can be entered into 2 races per week. The only exception to that being the relay as outlined above.

We also want to extend the freelance pegasi owners an invitation to register for the races as well.

Tropicana Sands will provide jockeys free of cost for this event for freelance owners wishing to enter. Remember that Race Registration ends Thursday at noon. Betting will be opened to the public shortly after. Everyone is invited to participate in the betting.
