Tropicana Twist

I know its been a while since we published an edition of the Twist darlings! Things have been so dreadfully routine that between that and the printer going on strike, I've just been uninspired. That is until today.

Today I'm full of news for you.

While sitting in the stands at the last races, Kinadria Lyness, Owner of Lions Pride announced she was putting Falcon's Desire up for auction at the next monthly event. Apparently the proceeds are slated to pay for the Ex-Mrs. Falconne's new house in the country where she plans to retire with her children.

Our sources down at the stables say the Ms. Lyness plans to leave the running of her stable in the capable hands of her stable master Ou Chi, which is probably for the best, as Ms. Lyness has not been spotted without a bottle in hand for the last several weeks.

Rumor has it that prospective pegasi breeders Sebastian and Cailet DeVernon have been doing some breeding of their own, Mrs. DeVernon was seen looking radiant and round at last week's breeders social. And she wasn't the only owner spotted with that motherly glow. Newcomers Johnny and Sianna Smith are expecting their own little bundle of delight later this year.

The people at RUDE never fail to bring us surprises. This week? Clones. Stable owners have loddged complaints with the RPRA over the double appearance of Eddie from the RUDE shipping department in this weeks Convince Me Handicap. Mattingsly Hemlock the RPRA spokesman assured us that the matter was being looked into, but that thus far they had found nothing in the rule books about using cloned jockeys.

And this last bit is for all you Lady stable owners out there. Seems the dashing and elegant Salvatore Martingale is back on the market. Long time girlfriend Portia was seen leaving on a train for Hoboken New Jersey vowing "If I never set eyes on Sal Martingale again I'll die a happy woman." Rumor has it that the split happened over Sal's allegedly inviting Miss Amthyst Oak to be his companion for the Autumn Sunset Gala event at Bellerophon.

Invitations to the gala should be arriving for each stable owner, and to various notable members of the community, this coming week, with the event itself being scheduled for September 30th. I know this reporter will be there on the arm of one dashing Bookie. I can't wait to see who else attends.

Until then darlings, Enjoy the races!
