Dakota was on the verge of making a decision that he'd been contemplating for quite some time now.

In a lot of ways, he'd always been known as a big, overgrown kid.

Maybe it was time to change a few things about himself, and he figured that starting at the top had to be as good a place as any.

Starting at the top? What in the world did that mean?

He stood there nervously, extremely hesitant about going into the place that he was standing outside of. It was a pretty old building. It had been around forever. This place had seen hundreds upon thousands of guys just like him. This was an absolutely normal process, and really, there should be NOTHING to worry about.

You couldn't convince Dakota Steele of that. He hadn't seen the inside of a place like this in years.

Looking inside the glass door, he saw three or four other guys sitting in chairs, waiting for their turns. And then, he glanced at the man whose turn it currently was. He saw the transformation going on with this man, right before his very eyes. Dakota took a few steps back, practically scared to death at this point.

That was enough to make him nearly turn around, but no, he determined right then and there that if she loved him, then it had to be for HIM, and not for what he was about to lose.

Drawing in a deep sigh, Dakota pushed his way through the glass door and found himself the nearest open chair, getting settled in.
