Buram 'Fovemai Vadam

Timeless, endless, blackness thicker than black. That space between realms stretched endlessly, everywhere and yet nowhere. The infinite colors of slipspace swirled and stretched around the purple hull, twisting and straining but never breaking as per its composition and design, as it cut through the nothing sharp as a knife.

Within the ship, time seemed to stand still, the crew immobile and yet mobile, aware and affected by the alien forces at work in that transdimensional space where physics and time bear no meaning. From the Captain?s chair, Buram looked onward, held in stasis by a wondrous tingling sensation familiar to him, but otherwise alien to his crew. Knowing this was no cause for alarm, he hoped that the drilling had allowed the 74 members of the Nexus Traveler to be ready for this strange sensation as they passed from one wormhole to another on their instant trip to the Yordle home system.

Truth be told, the ship remained in slipspace for months, though those on the inside, and certainly those on the outside in the real universe where planets and stars rested, would never know. Like waking up from a short nap would they be, as if they drifted far away at the wheel only to be awakened by the rumble strips on the shoulder. The exit came into being, and as Buram and others came to their senses, the ship pulled free of its unreal prison on the final approach to Carix X.

The maiden voyage was complete.

And nobody died!

Though they would be on the outer rim of the Galactic system they luckily evaded the Oort cloud, but near the Large gas giant Doorax. Though they were clear to continue on, they would notice its rather green atmosphere staying in a single mass dormant as if it was solid. Second they would come across the infamous MX-5. It was clear that the planet itself was covered in what seemed to be organic plant life. Forests and clouds littered the planet, along with vast oceans. For a half second they would catch a small distress call, but it would nearly instantly vanish as if interference had stopped the transmission.

Next they would come across their goal: Bandle City, blocking the path to Sharroon. Large ships constantly flew from the station down to the planet taking supplies and equipment down to the surface. Terra forming had been going at a very well rate, however.. Something Rakki forgot to mention was the Flag ship of the Yordle War fleet... The ship would, however, ping to raise communications with the Traveler.

"Accept the hail, Commander. Leftenant Wheeler, decrease our speed to .05," would say the captain as they approached the mighty warship blocking their path.

"Communications are open, Captain," said the comm officer with a diminutive bing echoing from her console before the voice of the Yordle, somewhere aboard that great mass before the scientific vessel, came across the bridge channels, along with a live feed being displayed in a hologram before the commanding platform.

"Under the orders of the Council you must present Identification, Cargo, and a list of crew. If you refuse or make any aggressive actions then you will be the target of Experiment ES-1." Video display would show the yordle fleet admiral a black furred, yordle wearing a officer uniform. his arms behind his back standing in front of the camera.

The large ship did look nearly three times the size of the space station itself, resting in the void as it did ready its weapons and aim toward the Traveler.
