The Studio clean up was completed, at last. The walls painted that cheerful caramel apple brown, with accents of slate and loden and russet in pillars and shelves. The auction could be called a dubious success - while she wasn't happy about who won both mosaic and painting, others had bid also, and bid well. It was, Fio concluded, time to start working again.

The Studio at the Eye was now open, by appointment. Commissions accepted. And since traffic to the Studio meant traffic through Ali's antiquities shop, Les Quarantes Voleurs, all the better.
