Chewing on her inner cheek she tugged the cart along behind her. The small, four wheeled cart was really nothing special and looked as if it was hanging on for dear life. She had to borrow it but it got the job done.

Inside the cart were two boxes, each containing a dozen of croissants. Eight loves of bread carefully laid in separate containers to keep them fresh. Two french, two sourdough, two multigrain, one walnut, and one cinnamon-raising bread..all of them freshly baked not even half a hour ago. And of course the container of two dozen assorted beignets. She also added a little container of powdered sugar on the side for the beignets in case people didn't want that on top.

This was the Friday order that Mrs Fio had left. There were two items in that cart, however, that were not ordered. Ahh those were a special surprise! Two hand crafted fruit baskets with a note to congratulate the newly appointed Governor.

When getting to the side door she peered at the instructions and reached out to ring the side bell.
