So what have you been doing? I know you can't work, but have you been reading, or ... I don't know...?

For some odd reason.. Sissy's words hadn't left Terry's mind. Even during her night with Daxia and well into the morning during breakfast. King played the good guest like she usually tried to do, but her mind had always drifted back to the girls words.

What am I doing? Such a simple question being repeated inside her head while she walked through the Marketplace during mid-day. Usually, she'd be in school right now.. Occupying herself with passing notes, doing work, and casting smiles, winks, and other such things at classmates.

Right now? All she had is this bum knee. No work, no training outside of physical therapy.

Lips wrapped themselves about the straw of her slushy. Maybe a small brain freeze would get her mind off the lack of ideas that came to her mind. Sucking a good bit of that icy goodness into her mouth, then swallowing back. She'd close her eyes and still herself for a few seconds while the rush hit her.. then sighed out.

It wasn't alcohol or anything.. If it was Oxy she'd be in heaven right now; not a care in the world about all this free time.

Nostrils flared as she snorted back, then quickly lifted up her left arm to look at the tattoo that graced it. Gabby - the name itself had her flexing the muscles of her arm some when fingers curled into a tight fist. Right, she didn't need to think about that stuff. She was beyond it, strong than it.

Even so. Being around Elizabeth had her mind drifting back to the possibilities some. Watching her drink, smelling cigarettes on her, and other such things that tried to urge her back into bad habits. Why she allowed herself to be around it? Attraction. She found the blonde attractive, even if she was somewhat of a little Princess.

Terry couldn't help but be attracted to things that were bad for her.

"What to do.." Terry murmured. She should of just stayed at Daxia's. At least she would of been able to lounge around and watch TV. It beats walking around aimlessly like this.

The top of her slushy was popped and tossed into the trash. King lingered there, her head tilt back so she could gulp down the rest of her drink. Then, like the top before it, she'd toss the cup in the trashcan after.

When gaze leveled ahead of herself, her eyes fell onto a bookstore. Lips licked at to do away at the hint of cherry slushy that graced them.

So what have you been doing? I know you can't work, but have you been reading, or ... I don't know...?

Sissy's words. Again.

She couldn't deny it, but those words had been the reason why she stepped inside the shop.. and the same reason why she'd be looking down the aisle of different books.

A large one had caught her attention and was pulled from the shelf.

GED Test Prep, the title read.

Terry turned it over. Searching the back text for something, but at the same time searching for nothing. She opened the large book next and flipped through some pages.

Math.. she hated math. Seeing the charts and all of that, it had her pursing her lips. Rehab, being expelled.. This whole time felt like a little summer vacation -- yet, it wasn't. She had given up on school.. but now.

".. Well.. I got the time.." Mumbling
