Something old and something blue doesn't often qualify with the gypsy, at least not the blue part. For a joining of two passionate souls like Riley and David, Lilliana felt that nothing less than a sensuous red would do their proud, loving glow justice... It also set off her own pale, freckled skin and wildfire hair quite nicely.

Given the last time Lilliana had taken up the task of having a gown tailored, Z'ev had taken up the task of bejeweling it out to the nines in diamonds in honor of the May ball and her running for the seasonal crown, she did not bother to hide her plans this time around. Somehow trying to hide it made her lover spoil and dazzle her up all the more. Instead, this time she worked WITH him, and they agreed on a tasteful, yet not terrifyingly expensive(at least to the humble-of-purse gypsy witch) set of unrefined, freshwater pearl jewelry to match the inlay along the straps of her gown.
The Hair:

Even the wildest of fires can be tamed when the time called for such, and if the formality of black tie wasn't just such an occasion, what was? The pin of a few well placed bobby's, a twist here, a bit of string strung with winter preserved blossoms there... and let's face it. Curly hair, even with all that patient, everyday attention and pins, and even MAGIC for that fact, can't be fully controlled. A few wisps bounced out despite her best efforts, but what was done was done, and rather than risk her entire updo unfurling, Lilliana let what wanted to be, be. Z'ev would be picking at her curls absently either way, so the effort would be for naught!
